3,000 Troops, 5 Ships: Key Pact Allows India, Russia To Share Military Bases

This is a very garbled news report.. This is a logistics framework agreement ..not a basing pact Similarly India and US signed LEMOA for logistics sharing in 2016, and neither provides bases to the other. I believe both have taken advantage of LEMOA since. But the US doesn't get to use Indian bases for attacks on Iran or to permanently homeport planes/ships. Though India has no military interests in Russian sphere and vice versa. Presumably when India sends planes to Red Flag Alaska for exercises with the US & others, it can refuel them en route in Russian air bases
