USA is practically forcing their hand at this point, I don't even think they genuinely *want* nukes, they just want the leverage and credibility of having them. The Iranian regime is now also legitimised on the world stage, US/Israel have forced other nations to negitiate directly for shipping traffic, handing Iran a route to huge load of cash at the same time, and managed to quash anti-regime sentiment within the country by making the population pull together against a common enemy. And that's before we get started on Israel and their now demonstrated vulnerability and impotence and how this will play out. It's an utter shitshow.

It's worse tbh. The takbir is a pretty common phrase in Arabic and used regularly in daily life. I've known a lot of Muslims that use it all the time. It gets associated with combat in the sandbox because of the context we normally see in the West, but it's a normal phrase. I've never known a Christian that casually drops "Glory be to god" in a conversation. In church, in prayers, sure. In public, let alone in office? No. A western leader dropping that in a threat of destruction and war would be offensive to most of them.

I absolutely agree. People think that can’t happen, but all rationality in the White House is gone. Trump and Miller are backed into a corner now, they have no way out of this and Trump would never just surrender, he’s too weak of a man to realize he fucked up. Nuclear is most certainly an option, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they have already floated this idea around in their war meetings. Also, Hegseth purging the Generals is terrifying, they seem to be removing anyone still standing in their way. At this point, using nuclear warfare, is most certainly not off the table, even writing this sentence is chilling.

I agree. I don’t think it’s likely, like at all. There are enough people who understand what a nuke is & would mean, even if Trump doesn’t. But the odds are non-zero. There’s a chance. And it’s bigger than it’s ever been in my lifetime. Can’t rule it out.
