It's kinda obvious that Pakistan is just a front for China. It won't be acceptable for USA to be seen "accepting" China's help. Pakistan is an acceptable face for both the parties here

The senior leadership of China must be either laughing uncontrollably or taken the month off with the US trashing its own: prestige, credibility and network of alliances which has taken a century to build up.
And for what? Because some rednecks find it fun?

A shocking amount of Chinese longterm strategy lately seems to be 'wait it out and watch everyone trip over their own dicks'. Shockingly effective.

China just wants a peaceful world where they can make money. They'll retake Taiwan sometime soon, but that'll be it

>China’s role as an unofficial mediator in the latest war in the Middle East is drawing attention across the world as it seeks to project the image of being a responsible global power
Responsible? LOL. China is one of the most irresponsible powers in the world. They keep provoking Taiwan and the countries around the South China Sea. They keep providing weapons to terrorists in Russia and Iran. They brutally oppress their own population. This is the opposite of responsible. China is just another expansionist, imperialist, colonialist dictatorship like Russia that the world is forced to deal with and try to contain.

Israel is the one that's an expansionist and imperialist colonialist dictatorship. Israel keeps provoking and bombing countries in the middle east and sells weapons to terrorists all the time to destabilize the region and the annex territories by claiming self defense.

True, but the same goes for China as well. They have big expansion plans.
