Funny. [Trump's Pardon Attorney also got hit was an ethics charge this week.](https://abcnews.com/US/dojs-pardon-attorney-ed-martin-hit-ethics-charges/story?id=130932444) The dirty business of politics used to at least have some panache and the veneer of respectability. Everyone's just proudly corrupt, now. All trying to out petty one another with zero f****** shame.

The lack of consequences (especially for Nixon, Reagan, and Bush 2) lead to this.

Letting Nixon walk and not having his day in court taught the GOP a valuable lesson. You can do some heinous shit and walk away consequence free. They've been pushing that boundary ever since.

There is no boundary. Raping 13 year olds is acceptable. Bombing schools is acceptable. Rigging elections is acceptable. There's not much further that doesn't result in an extinction-level event.

That was my point. They found the boundary and started pushing. They've pushed it so far it's broken. There is no boundary holding this admin in check. The guardrails are off and the train is leaving the track.

Lying about illegally selling weapons to Iran and directing funds to The Contra rebels in Nicaragua that everyone knew were using it to rapidly advance drug production, while simultaneously waging a "war on drugs" to put black people (and very few other people) away for decades didn't prove there were no boundaries?

Clinton also participated in some of this. This is bipartisan corruption from the top on down.

Trump will probably pardon him again and hire him.

If the charge is not federal, he won’t be able to pardon him!

“Federal” is literally the first word of the article.
