\> “I tested the system and the system failed,” he said. It literally stopped you and you ended up charged with misdemeanors and felonies

>Wait, 71, faces up to six years in prison on the felony conviction and up to a year in jail on each of the misdemeanor convictions. What would "success" look like to him? Lethal injection?

oldteen Mar 26, 2026 +45
He's successfully avoiding voting, since he's now a convicted felon?

peeple-pleeser Mar 27, 2026 +24
Trump has entered the chat

Niceromancer Mar 27, 2026 +14
Them not getting caught and brown people being blamed instead.
14
zakabog Mar 27, 2026 +19
It only stopped him after he was able to commit fraud and went to the authorities and said "Look, I committed fraud." In his mind the system is broken because he was able to obtain absentee ballots on behalf of two politicians.

serial_crusher Mar 27, 2026 +8
Yeah, impossible to say in hindsight whether they would have caught him if he hadn’t publicly bragged about it. This really is the kind of thing that officially sanctioned pen testers should be doing on a regular basis, so mostly I’m just skeptical that the government isn’t properly testing their security if they hadn’t already identified and fixed the issue.

There’s failsafes during voting and after, every election there’s a handful of people who commit voter fraud and every time they’re caught a charged. Often time it’s prevented in advance at the ballot booth other times it’s not for a few months because it was different states so there’s less immediate verifications. There has never been any sign of large scale voting fraud. There’s a reason our election is in November and votes aren’t certified until January, the final tally that gets certified is very well verified.

>Jurors in Racine County on Tuesday found Harry Wait guilty of two misdemeanor election fraud charges and one felony identity theft charge following a two-day trial. He was acquitted of a second count of identity theft. It turned out the real conspiracy was the election fraud we made along the way.

It's always projection with right-wingers.

I don’t like to generalize, but it’s like every damn time
57
LiberalSuperG Mar 26, 2026 +20
It really is, I challenge you to find me a case that actually is a person from the left committing a crime

SkunkMonkey Mar 27, 2026 +11
I believe there was a Democrat that was guilty of voter fraud because they didn't know they were voting in the wrong district. That's actual voter fraud, though accidental. The GOP are masters of *election* fraud and it's 100% deliberate.
11
LiberalSuperG Mar 27, 2026 +6
Ok, like refine the parameters to *intentional*
6
AttackOficcr Mar 27, 2026 +2
Hell, I think that would even be a case of malicious prosecution, because accidental would lack the "knowingly and willfully" component of election fraud, or would otherwise be simply redirected after showing up at the wrong place.
2
Kcboom1 Mar 26, 2026 +60
Election fraud is very easy to identify on a city, county, state, and surrounding interstate level and has non existent results at best.

bluemitersaw Mar 27, 2026 +22
Imma going to quibble a bit. There is need to talk about the 2 different kinds. There's "voter fraud" which is individual voters either breaking the rules or people voting who aren't allowed to vote. Then there is "election fraud", this is more along the lines of people in the election system/process rigging things. Like under/over counting, illegally throwing out ballets, etc. Currently we only seem to talk about voter fraud. It's extremely rare and honestly the impact of a few fraudsters would have no real impact. 1 person voting 10 times isn't going to move the needle in your average election. But it's actually really hard to pull off without getting caught (see news article). The real risk is in election fraud. A few high level election workers could twist things by 10s of thousands of ballets fairly quickly. Could chance they would get caught but maybe not??? Especially if it's being pushed by a currently in power politician. If you are actually worried about fraud during elections then it's election fraud you need to worry about, not voter fraud. Voter fraud is just a bullshit excuse to raise the barrier of entry for people to vote. Especially poor people.

> His efforts drew praise from Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson in 2022, who called Wait a “white hat hacker.” White hat hackers have legal authorization for their activities and substantially more brain cells. This is just a right wing nut job committing crimes to prove his made up enemies are committing crimes.
55
pm_me_beerz Mar 27, 2026 +17
Well republican senator, so……
17
Obvious_Cranberry607 Mar 27, 2026 +3
He'd be a gray hat at best.

So he tried the tactics he claims the opposition uses, got caught, and was convicted. I think he's full of shit.

> Wait, 71, faces up to six years in prison on the felony conviction and up to a year in jail on each of the misdemeanor convictions. Bro threw (most likely) the rest of his life away for Donald Trump lmao

as has been said so often before about these clowns- "every accusation is a confession"
16
Prudent_Shake_8149 Mar 27, 2026 +6
Was it that guy with the weird orange makeup who threatened multiple election officials to find enough votes to take the election??? Same guy who summoned a mob to hang his VP for certifying his election loss.
6
Malaix Mar 27, 2026 +7
You know after a certain point Republicans who make claims of crimes happening really just need to be automatically investigated for said crimes. It would probably net a LOT of convictions.
7
Bods666 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Problem is, for everyone else, there needs to be a complaint and probable cause before law enforcement can do anything.
1
Historical-View4058 Mar 26, 2026 +13
Every accusation is a confession with these guys. It's the only possible way they can lie with conviction.
13

I am disgusted there are Americans who still vote republican.

They were correct about election fraud. They did it.

How thickens plot and the turn tables. It's always the ones you expect. Half of their hatred is rooted in projection.

Meanwhile we got attorneys looking to fill federal judge positions that refuse to answer who won the 2020 election or if their was a riot at the capitol on j6

I find this funny. My family keeps pushing the election fraud story too. When i ask them how come all the stories i read about election fraud are committed by republicans for republicans, they cry fake news and liberal news.

Daily reminder. Since 1985 there have been roughly 75 cases of election fraud identified. One of them is Elon Musk

That every conservative accusation is an admission shouldn't really be the mystery that some seem to think it is. They are the a****** boyfriend constantly accusing their girl of cheating in order to alleviate their own guilt of all the fuckin on the side they been doin. Conservatives are selfish and greedy 20-something boyfriends who have never worked a day in their life thanks to a rich dad that raised them to be just exactly like he was. It is a pathology you could set your watch to.

>“You got to expect to pay some costs sometimes when you are trying to work for the public good,” he said. “You can’t always stay in the safe zone.” How is trying to falsify votes for the publics good? Enjoy prison, hopefully at your age you stay there. Too old to learn right from wrong. >His efforts drew praise from Republican U.S. Sen.
