Actors who play characters who did wild stuff they did irl

Posted by moodge411

So like the title suggests, it’s kind of like when actors play a character relating to them irl but evil. Like Channing Tatum was a stripper irl & he played one in some movies all fine & dandy. I’m talking about if Channing did a crime as a stripper irl & then in a movie he where he was stripping he did that same or close to thing. This post is directly inspired about the lead actress of the handmaidens tale being a member of that one church Tom Cruise loves.

I guess Robert Blake? Portrayed a killer in ‘In Cold Blood’ and was highly suspected in the death of one of his wives.

Christopher Lee played many villains in film, but in real life, during WWII, he was involved with elite units, including the SAS and SOE, participating in operations in North Africa, Libya, and Italy, including the sabotage of Luftwaffe planes and airfields. Towards the end of the war, he assisted in tracking down Nazi war criminals.

The story Leah Remini tells about Tom Cruise having a meltdown about the unknown whereabouts of cookie dough (throwing a tantrum at the assistants allegedly “responsible”) reminds me of the part in Magnolia when he’s raging at his assistant (“What do I want you to do? **I want you to do your f—ing job!**”).

Audie Mutphy played himself in a movie about his military career. He was the most decorated soldier in WWII.

In Blue Velvet, Dennis Hopper plays the main antagonist, Frank Booth. Hopper was selected by director David Lynch to play the drug crazed lunatic, because Hopper was known to be one in real life. He even made suggestions to the production team on how to make the character more believable.

I don’t think of what Christopher Lee as an “evil” crime. War is war.

Gonna be honest I don’t really consider drugs a crime anymore lol. I was thinking of like causing others harm type things.

But you consider being a member of a church a crime?

Was on Workaholics and another TV show where he played a pedo/creeper and in his real life was proven to groom and meet up with underage girls/fans.

Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Maybe not to the extreme as HT but I have a feeling he likes to party.
