Pakistan -- Thanks for the Ramadan gift of bombing a hospital miles away from your target. Afghanistan can't wait for your Eid gift package. Meantime, you both can get together for Iftar and complain how evil Israel is for bombing Lebanon.

Except the people who complains about Israel bombing of Lebanon are regular laypeople. Nothing to do with the government. The government, on the other hand, will be more than happy to shake hands with Israel.

Aren't they both majority Sunni nations I dont think that's a factor here. Afghanistan is a rump state with no real conventional army. This won't lead to any more than a small border skirmishes and independent strikes

Well Afghanistan doesn't take lightly to attacks. Yes they don't really have an army but expect Pakistan to be hit by a series of terrorist attacks soon

Probably not a hospital, some of these facilities don't even employ doctors. A hospital, without doctors. This is weird false reporting by news media. >The casualties were taken to several hospitals in the area, where crowds gathered to search for their loved ones among the injured and the dead. It wasn’t possible to independently confirm the death toll. I predict they were taken to hospitals that employ doctors. It's a strange strike by Pakistan. I doubt the Taliban cares about the addicts, they didn't seem to care much when they were alive.

Even if it was a rehab clinic as we'd know it, that's not a hospital. Calling it a clinic and "medical facility" suggests that medical treatment is happening there. That's not necessarily the case, so fundamentally misuses the terms "clinic" and "rehabilitation". This is narrative shaping. Pakistan hits "hospital", "medical facility", "clinic" suggests they may have deliberately hit a facility that was medically treating patients. Pakistan hits housing used for drug addicts is more accurate, but more importantly, I don't think even an evil military thinks hitting that would further their ends. I've seen dozens of comments suggesting this was deliberate cruel act.

Very first line (bolding is mine) >On 16 March at around 9pm in Kabul, an airstrike carried out by Pakistan military forces impacted the Omid Addiction Treatment **Hospital**, a healthcare facility for the treatment of drug-addicted individuals, dozens of whom were reportedly killed and injured. Just the US doesn’t get to bomb a school and not get called out for it; Pakistan doesn’t get to bomb a hospital.

**Democratic** People's Republic of Korea. **Holy Roman** Empire.

Remind me; when did the UN recognize North Korea as democratic the ways there recognized this hospital as a medical facility? Oh? They didn’t? Guess that makes you full of it huh?

Deny it as much as you can but it's preety believable as the army kills its very own Pakistani people when they protest against isreal and the airforce bombed kpk
