I don't know. I was a former Afghani and ANA who returned from Qatar and I received a free home and many wives. ~~-the taliban~~ -a former ANA soldier.

The Taliban haven’t actually killed that many former collaborators. Many of the commandos were killed along with many former ANA members disappearing every now and then, but in general much of the former Afghan government and military has been integrated into the new Taliban system; the reason the Taliban wants them back at all is because they have skills and the technicalities they want.

this is an important point. Inter-Muslim sectarian conflict causes a lot of regional tension and ongoing problems. For example, a thousand years of Sunni-Shia violence has probably killed millions and seriously stunted economic growth.

Germany airlift a disproportionately high number of afghan, considering the size of their deployment, during the last government. There were NGO that got, let's say creative, solutions in order to facilitate the transit, including a guy that could not digest the fact that he was now gay. But hey all is peachy around here.
