Man as an afghan, I really feel hopeless, on one hand we have fuckin incompetent terrorists rulling over us on the other hand the country is being carpet bombed by the second set of terrorists over there in Pakistan.

As a pakistani I apologise. If our army has literally gunshot peaceful Pakistani protests, citizens of our country, then this can not be surprising from us that they would do this too. Unfortunately, our Cheif of Army Staff, Asim Munir, is funded by US.

We love the Pakistani awam and people and we know they have been suffering as much as we from their government, praying for a peaceful and fair Pakistan

Its bums me out that so many citizens from so many different countries and cultures would get along fine having a coffee and chatting. Even possibly be friends. And then leaders make collective decisions for everyone to ruin that.

Iranians can sympathize.

Ambitious-Wind9838 Mar 17, 2026 +44
Iran has expelled millions of Afghan refugees back to Afghanistan.

No-Pomelo-2294 Mar 17, 2026 +12
Iranian government who killed 30k+ of its own people don't represent Iranians actually.

Killer_IZ_BacK Mar 17, 2026 -8
What is the proof buddy. Genuine question. US is saying that "we're liberating people". But I'm 100% convinced that us doesn't give a f*** about the people. Anyways, any proof which isn't media controlled by the west?

JamesVirani Mar 17, 2026 +1
Simply referring to a people being terrorized from both inside and outside, not the Iran-Afghanistan history.

For some reason, across the world, the bad guys seem to win f****** always. It’s exhausting and existentially grim. As a species we just aren’t ready, it seems.
28
JamesVirani Mar 17, 2026 +11
There are bad guys on both sides of the war. They are better known as politicians, although there is clearly bad and worse among them too, and very occassionally a good one, who most often doesn't get very far. The good guys are the poor people suffering and being bombed.
11
22stanmanplanjam11 Mar 17, 2026 +1
We’re never going to be “ready” as a species because the bar for what that means is continually raised. In the objective, measurable ways our species is more successful globally than it ever has been.

And yet, the perpetrators of this mass murder will never be held accountable for it. This is sickening.

Also Reuters: >"Reuters could not independently verify the figures, and the Taliban spokesman provided no explanation of how the casualties were counted."

Why is bombing schools and hospitals being normalized now? It's so fucked up.
17
123tatan Mar 17, 2026 +22
Tbf it’s heavily reported on. I’d say the only war being normalized is the Russia/Ukraine war. Unless you follow on your own volition you’d have no idea Russia bombed a shopping center a month ago killing 7 civilians.

Centeredrightbhakt05 Mar 17, 2026 +6
If ever someone comes and says about Muslim brotherhood I will spit right into his eyes. Pakistan has a history of killing Muslims for fun. They killed 20000 Palestinians in Jordan and now this.
6
hackabuser Mar 17, 2026 +4
I think the genocide against Bangladesh would have been a better example to name
4
CountAppropriate5895 Mar 17, 2026 +1
So many atrocities commited tht people have multiple options where they killed thousands
1
hackabuser Mar 17, 2026 +1
in the case of bangladesh, it was 300k as lowest estimate and 3 million as upper end
1
peepshowsophie Mar 17, 2026 -1
What’s your source?
-1
Centeredrightbhakt05 Mar 17, 2026 +6
Read about black September. Also how Pakistan's then military chief Zia Ul Haq helped Jordan in the genocide.

Sad to see our own incompetent government and armed forces carrying out such acts of war crimes. The people of Afghanistan have through enough suffering and now we're here doing the same thing that we used to criticise the US for.

The chickens are slowly coming home to roost for Pakistan.

thanks trump. president of peace at it again.

As much as I jump at the opportunity to blame him for things this has literally nothing to do with him
40
soccerforce09 Mar 17, 2026 +1
he's destabilized the world and is the most pro-war president we have ever had
1
the4thwave Mar 17, 2026 -15
It does have something to do with the US though, since they helped oust Imran Khan in Pakistan.
-15
Sevinki Mar 17, 2026 +32
Holy cope, you people truly see America at fault for absolutely everything. This conflict is literally based on the Taliban supporting their counterparts in Pakistan that have been fighting an insurgency against the pakistani state in the eastern pashtun regions for decades.

gimp-pimp Mar 17, 2026 -8
Here you go, you miserable and ignorant moron. This was all down during Bidens time, and the US backed a sham election afterwards [https://theintercept.com/2023/08/09/imran-khan-pakistan-cypher-ukraine-russia/](https://theintercept.com/2023/08/09/imran-khan-pakistan-cypher-ukraine-russia/) https://theintercept.com/2023/12/18/pakistan-cypher-imran-khan-charges/ This US is the root cause for most of the world's issues. You're a plague on this world

kinglittlenc Mar 17, 2026 +8
What an insane take. Dude literally lost a no confidence vote and you pretend like this was some military backed coup. Do these people involved have no agency or do you simple view them as children?
8
Weird_Track_2164 Mar 17, 2026 +12
Lmao. He lost a no confidence vote and that literally nothing to do with the Taliban attacking Pakistan after years of Pakistan funding and nurturing their extremism.
12
the4thwave Mar 17, 2026 -17
There is evidence that the US threatened to sanction Pakistan unless Imran Khan was removed. No doubt that had an impact.
-17
Coffeebeans2d Mar 17, 2026 -35
Another bomb sponsored by US taxpayers.
-35
123tatan Mar 17, 2026 +29
China supplies 80% of Pakistan’s weapons. Pakistan accounts for 60% of Chinese weapon purchases. https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/world/pakistan-remains-beijings-top-arms-importer-61-made-in-china-weapons-go-to-islamabad-sipri/amp
29
Coffeebeans2d Mar 17, 2026 -18
And where does the money come from?
-18
123tatan Mar 17, 2026 +14
US trade with Pakistan accounts for about 10 billion. That’s negligible. The US prefers India as a trading partner, trade with India totaled around 200 billion. Is there something else you’re preluding to?
14
Coffeebeans2d Mar 17, 2026 -3
The IMF loans which are redirected to purchase the military hardware. Are you trying to act naive
-3
123tatan Mar 17, 2026 +2
7 billion in 34 months to avoid default, what weapons is Pakistan buying with those 7 billion from the US. Show me a purchase of bombs post 2010.
2
Coffeebeans2d Mar 17, 2026
So are these american fighter jets F-14s or whatever are being donated by US to Pakistan?
0
bsully1 Mar 17, 2026 +2
Tbf the F-16 (not F-14) makes up less than 20% of Pakistan’s fleet. The majority, approximately 41%, are Chinese-Pakistani/Chinese production (see JF-17 & J-10C).
2
protonsters Mar 17, 2026 -3
As per Pakistan side they struck a weapon depot of the Taliban. It course the Taliban will use this with the help of Indian media to spread fake news of 400 dying on a hospital attack. I doubt they even have 400 bed hospitals.
-3
MonkeyDMeatt Mar 17, 2026 -7
What’s with US’s closest allies and bombing hospitals
