That's interesting, the only firearm I saw discharged in the video was the agent firing directly in the direction of the 5 other people near the wall.

Didn't the footage from inside the ballroom also only have 5 bangs of the same pitch and tone?

Also a pistol, pretty clearly.

They do

Hell yeah, it’s like three balls in a row. I’ve got a few boxes of them as well as .410 slugs.

TMZ’s audio from immediately after the event has 5 distinct shots, a single shot followed by 4 rapid ones that all sounded the same. The first one sounded different from the following 4. They all sounded like pistols.

Sounds like they want charges heavier than, Disorderly Conduct and Brandishing. They probably can’t prove he even wanted to do what everyone is saying he was there to do. This is the backup plan.

What’s that your honor? You want us to elaborate on the shotgun being fired? Oh I guess we misspoke, we meant to say our agent was hit by Agent Buck’s shot, it just looks so similar on the paper here now that I’m closely looking at it…my apologies for not clearing that up sooner

ActualSpiders May 4, 2026 +43
And wasn't the agent hit with a 9mm at first? At least until everybody realized Cole was carrying a shotgun... then it magically changed to "buckshot". Wonder what the pivot will be if it turns out he wasn't carrying buckshot loads?
43
pte_omark May 4, 2026 +16
Hit at close range by a single buckshot pellet. I don't buy it, not a direct hit at least.  ID expect if one pellet lands in the chest you'd have others that would hit also. That and any crime scene tech / person with weapons experience would tell the difference between a lead pellet and a jacketed hollow point round.
16
ActualSpiders May 4, 2026 +10
Exactly. Hit by \*a\* pellet is pretty much impossible except be the most random of ricochets, and then the question arises: "What happened to the \*rest\* of the buckshot"?
10
metisdesigns 6 days ago +3

3
notguiltyaf May 3, 2026 +62
And then one of the agents standing along the wall struggles to run, as if he were shot.
62
bigloser42 May 3, 2026 +24
I assumed that was the one that was shot. If it wasn’t him, who was it?
24
Kevin686766 May 3, 2026 +38
If it is actually a conspiracy then why would they say it was " buckshot " instead of a bullet fragment?  Conspiracy or not their is a lot of incompetent people working for the president.  Either they are telling the truth and a school teacher managed to sneak multiple guns that close to the President in a building that has a history of presidents getting shot at in. Or it is a conspiracy where the people planning to fake everything can't plan a more believable story.

DCS_Sport May 3, 2026 +7
You notice that video showed no impacts on the wall across from the officer firing his weapon?
7
Duchess0612 May 4, 2026 +6
There was a short clip from two reporters in DC who were able to walk right in like the next day and there were at least three squares of the wall removed when they took photos/videos. Behind one of them, you could see a 2 x 4 that had been shot, with what looked like just a single round (a.k.a. it was not buckshot). Sheetrock and a little plaster guys…
6
Parking_Syrup_9139 May 4, 2026 +2

2

2

How can only one pellet hit the vest? Wasn’t the scene fairly close range?
5

One pellet only, please.
3
HONKHONKHONK69 May 3, 2026 +5
he runs out of frame though. he makes it another few metres before he's tackled next to the staircase.
5
Connect-Coat6277 May 3, 2026 +1483
At what frame in the video was the shotgun fired?
1483
maringue May 3, 2026 +1568
In what frame was he ever holding a shotgun? This is 100% a cop shooting another cop and blaming it on the guy he was trying to hit.
1568
ezagreb May 3, 2026 +517
The fact that they seem to have taken so long before coming out with this alleged detail, and of course a recent history of blatant coverups
517
RogerianBrowsing May 3, 2026 +273
Even worse is that they first put out a clip super low res, then they put out an AI slop clip in higher res without a gun, then they released a high res version with a shotgun. Basically nothing they say/show can be taken at face value when they’ve already provided false videos. Even then the shotgun never fired and there is an odd lack of bullet holes in the walls from stray fire
273
ProlapseMishap May 3, 2026 +89
Waiting for the news that he was actually just unarmed and yelling things the cops didn't like, so they shot him.
89
cantproveidid May 4, 2026 +31
Well, shot in his general direction.
31
pretendperson May 4, 2026 +3
Do you have a link handy to the AI slop clip in higher res without the gun?
3
No-Educator-8069 May 4, 2026 +7
This is why I think the assassination attempts were probably real; not because I trust them not to fake it, but because every time they lie about things they are really really bad at it.
7
pantry-pisser May 4, 2026 +17
I take massive issue with your statement. It is completely false. Their history of blatant coverups is decades and decades.
17

Everyone's over this administration but seriously. Did anyone watch the video? He's 100% carrying what appears to be a long gun, like a shotgun.
54
chickenaylay May 4, 2026 +10
You sure you didn't watch the AI added version, there were 3 different ones put out by the admin
10
Herefor3dPrintstuff May 4, 2026 +36
the admin released multiple ai slop versions of the footage. In some of them he wasn't holding a gun.
36
cyanescens_burn May 4, 2026 +13
Is that the same one near the metal detectors where you see a cop at the bottom of the screen draw their gun and fire, and another man against the wall on the other side hits the ground in pain, and his buddy tries to get him up and to safety?
13
midsprat123 May 3, 2026 +124
Must been the same guys from the “drug raid” in Houston where two people were murdered during a falsified “no knock” raid. Several HPD officers were injured with calibers that didn’t match the victims firearms
124

Shows him RUNNING with it , but when did he fire it? Or any rounds? None of that was on video?
28
HONKHONKHONK69 May 3, 2026 +25
it's not on video but he makes it out of the camera's view before being tackled. idk why everyone in this thread is like "but it wasn't in the video! aha!" he could have fired when he's out of frame. the information isn't available yet.
25
Numerous_Photograph9 May 4, 2026 +36
If only the DOJ was actually trustworthy. They've done more than enough to make anything they say worth scrutinizing.
36
MaestroLogical May 4, 2026 +20
> out of the camera's view I just don't see how this is possible. I work at a standard chain hotel in the middle of nowhere, and we still have enough cameras to blanket the entire property with very few blindspots. So this very fancy hotel, hosting a very fancy event, with VIP attendance, had a single solitary grainy camera for just this one area?
20
Duchess0612 May 4, 2026 +10
And yet there were only five shots heard via the audio. Five shots, all sounding the same - like from a pistol. The first reporting from the White House officials/Secret Service, was that the agents shot five times. The audio only catches five shots. So even if he did fire off camera, how do you account for the extra shot, that would sound like a shotgun, and not like a pistol, and would have to be a sixth shot since they already said the agents fired five times? 🤷‍♀️

Which bizarre because I'm pretty sure they can charge the guy for the agent being hit *regardless* of who shot him. They don't even need to lie about it.
10
Little_Noodles May 4, 2026 +6
Yeah, but “our agents did jack shit and got outperformed by a box, which is actually what stopped him” is embarrassing enough. So trying to avoid the narrative that the only thing that they accomplished was shooting each other is about right. It doesn’t save face exactly, but it’s slightly less embarrassing and makes the guy less of an inept doofus and the agents more sympathetic
6
KingMRano May 3, 2026 +19
The video I seen of him running through the metal detector showed a long gun, which could very well be a shotgun.
19
Qwertyham May 3, 2026 +17
He was holding a shotgun the entire video
17
TheOppositeOfTheSame May 4, 2026 +2
My understanding is there’s 2 versions of the video. The original one that appears AI edited and a HD version released later with the shotgun.
2
BruceNotLee May 4, 2026 +2
I bet besides it being embarrassing AF, medical and other benifits will not kick in for friendly fire.
2
nohumanape May 4, 2026 +13
I don't know how real the footage I saw was. But there is footage making the rounds that shows the alleged assassin charging through the detector, and just as he gets through it he has his shotgun kind of raised and aimed at an officer. But the officer doesn't respond in any way that appears as if they had been struck by a firearm 🤷
13
copiumjunky May 4, 2026 +3
Looks like he might have hit the dude to the left of the cop firing at him.
3
Duchess0612 May 4, 2026 +5
Hit him with what? He’s carrying the gun, but it never goes off on the video. You would definitely notice if it had gone off.

I saw a video of him rushing the screening point. No f****** way that shitty ass lady cop didn't shoot the other officer. Hell, they were practically *crawling* away during the exchange. This admin is lying to everyone about this incident. This should be headline news, and it ain't. I was an LEO for 10 years, a UoF instructor for 8, and a firearms instructor for 7. She did EVERYTHING wrong from jump Street and basically fired on her fellow officers. As a by standing officer, we'd be f****** fist-fighting. That job is risky enough without friendly fire I'm not sure what her fate is, but it better be something without a firearm.
64
dusktreader May 4, 2026 +13
I want to know why not one of these agents even tried to tackle him. A sideline security guard at an NFL game is more responsive than these slugs.
13
itoddicus May 4, 2026 +6
Assuming the long gun was actually a shot gun, and he somehow managed to get a shot off running full speed with his head down, at that range you would pull more than one pellet out of a vest.
6
00notmyrealname00 May 4, 2026 +5
I think we're going to find there's going to be a disparity between what the news media was told about this event and what the evidence shows. They're going to have to test his hands and clothes for GSR, the rifle/shotgun for ballistics, and whatever projectiles they can find for origination and trajectory. All that to say, if they're going to try to get a conviction out of this, they're either going to have to provide the findings for the investigation, or makeup the evidence for it. I'm not convinced they're going to be able to fabricate the evidence because while the top leadership may be compromised, the technicians doing the tests are probably not - and I'm sure they know they're too low on the totem pole to be protected if they lie.
5
itoddicus May 4, 2026 +2
What do you think the chances they did a GSR test on this guy?

thegoatmenace May 3, 2026 +22

22
Several-Opposite-746 May 3, 2026 +15
Jeanine describing the shot as both buckshot and a bullet. “We now can establish that a pellet that came from the buckshot from the defendant’s Mossberg pump-action shotgun was intertwined with the fiber of the vest of the Secret Service officer,” she told CNN’s “State of the Union.” “It is definitively his bullet.”
15
F0rkbombz May 4, 2026 +17
““We now can establish that a pellet that came from the buckshot from the defendant’s Mossberg pump-action shotgun was intertwined with the fiber of the vest of the Secret Service officer,” she told CNN’s “State of the Union.” “It is definitively his bullet.”” Weird how she goes from stating it was a “pellet” to stating it was a “bullet”.
17
TintedApostle May 4, 2026 +4
“A pellet” as if in a close shot most of the pellets would have hit the vest (if true he did shoot) and left a pattern on the vest. Not “a” pellet. Buckshot scatters over distance and so close up the buckshot would have been pretty clustered tight.
4
JusticePhrall May 4, 2026 +3
'It is definitively "A" bullet, or at least we're fairly certain it is "A" pellet from a shotgun round, but it is virtually impossible to say with any certainty that it was fired by the suspect, as that isn't the way ballistics work.' There, I fixed it for you.

Wait. So if it was buckshot loaded in the rifle, then they can't charge him with attempted assassination.

HumongousBelly May 3, 2026 +56
I don’t care about the new angles the pedo and his team are trying to spin. Release the f****** Epstein files!

Pyromaniacal13 May 4, 2026 +18
One pellet. One single pellet. Didn't they have trouble finding any bullet holes in that hotel, but they can find one single, solitary pellet in a vest? Where are the other 199 pellets?
18
itoddicus May 4, 2026 +9
Buckshot usually has 9 pellets. 8 are somehow magically unaccounted for.
9
Pourkinator May 4, 2026 +7
This administration lies not stop. I don’t believe a word they’re saying. It was staged because the traitor thought that would make people be ok with its vanity ballroom and bullshit Iran war.
7
MichaelEll1s May 4, 2026 +6
Who’s trying to assassinate someone with buckshot? Has to be a first
6
TintedApostle May 4, 2026 +4
The guy admitted in his manifesto that he chose buckshot because he didn’t want a slug going through a wall and hitting someone else. With that said I still say the prosecutor is lying.
4
MichaelEll1s May 4, 2026 +2
All they do is Lie. What a great time to commute federal crimes (if that’s your thing), these idiots are too busy covering up their own crimes to actually investigate anything. Ie. Nancy Guthrie.
2
TintedApostle May 4, 2026 +7
What I find interesting is that if he shot a round the shotgun would probably ejected it or even if it held it the shell would have been paraded around by Kash. They shot photos of all the weapons and posted them. Kash loves to show off shells. Everyone has said they heard 5 shots and shotguns sound different. No one noticed? Finally shotgun pellets (plural) would have clustered so close and that agents clothes and vets would show it. Nah its a lie .... he was hit by another agent.
7
MichaelEll1s May 4, 2026 +3
Yeah if it was buck shot there would be for collateral damage with the spread of it
3
3D-Dreams May 3, 2026 +18
Really? Because the video doesn't show that.
18
gamerjerome May 4, 2026 +3
I'm surprised they didn't have more cameras
3
TheActualDonKnotts May 4, 2026 +7
Here we go with the federal government telling you to ignore the evidence you can see and hear with your own eyes and ears. By now most people that give a shit about the country have already seen at least one video, and at no point did he fire his weapon. "*The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.*" Will this ever not be relevant at least somewhere in the world?
7
FartyFartsMD May 4, 2026 +6
Lies. Nothing these people say is remotely true, don’t believe anything these cretins say.
6
Naive_Confidence7297 May 4, 2026 +4
I almost forgot about this ‘assassination attemp’
4
runsailswimsurf May 3, 2026 +6
Isn’t wild how he could manage to hit a cop with ONLY one pellet at point blank range? Let’s pattern that shotgun and see just how likely that is.
6
My_alias_is_too_lon May 4, 2026 +7
Nice try, but the shotgun was never fired. That cat's already out of the bag, and trying to convince everyone otherwise is a waste of everyone's time. ... but this is coming from an administration that thinks we're all so stupid that we'll believe them when they say that gas prices are going down (and in fact are lower than ever!) despite reality disagreeing. Do they alter course? No. They double down, keep telling their blatant and obvious lies. Trump really must think that we're all total morons...
7
FluxKraken May 4, 2026 +2
The thing is, much of MAGA is literally so stupid that they will believe it.
2
sonicsludge May 4, 2026 +4
Lol, I'm so tired of these people trying to tell us what to believe, we have f****** eyes and ears for fucks sake!
4
Strange-Gold-3702 May 4, 2026 +3
The government found a pellet in the agent’s vest. I don’t know anything about ammunition, but aren’t there more than a pellet discharged? Pellets don’t disintegrate so they should have found more?
3
Triplett8 May 4, 2026 +4
What new lie will they spin about this guy next?
4
juana-golf May 3, 2026 +5
Nothing is real anymore, I give up

Odd_Reputation_4000 6 days ago +2
Mkay. Whatever you say.
2
Historical-Tough6455 6 days ago +2
When they lie straight to your face like this is always a sign of excellence
2
IamNotTheMama May 3, 2026 +5
One of the worst headlines ever It sounds like the agent is being charged with a crime
5
chrisbcritter May 4, 2026 +4
Uh, who is the "prosecuter"? That drunk Fox news pundit Jeanine Pirro?[](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=7df939b265e22e41&sxsrf=ANbL-n4mTDgZX50N1VgCBFq6UEQoZK156g:1777855882330&q=Jeanine+Pirro&si=AL3DRZG6eRbkG89eScZ-nbTfonZ6SNh4rYgj13TRomby-naP2BGdrE50v6yN-f4XYfiZGgrqAZnWurIip32Cil5AWe3kNz-EOygYZf8KaBN8tJK5wGmndEw_j31T05N9e6veTSrY-p5u0EpqIHfiFeVzwprS1sNzEQ%3D%3D&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjJ3M-itZ6UAxXtiSsGHVFfCU0Q_coHegQICRAB&ictx=0)

I can only wonder what happens if they're asked to show the ballistic evidence in court.
11
okimlom May 3, 2026 +2
Same thing that is happening in the Charlie Kirk case.
2
IndependentTalk4413 May 3, 2026 +6
Like anyone should believe a word that comes out of that wino’s mouth. Pirror hasn’t been sober in 3 decades.
6
LunarMoon2001 May 3, 2026 +9
We’ve seen the video and the lie detector determined that is a lie
9
SomeSamples May 4, 2026 +3
I would need to see the ammo the guy had for his gun and the bullets pulled from the bullet proof vests to make a determination. I am not taking that drunk b****'s word for anything.
3
GotAir May 4, 2026 +4
Ya, but did an agent ALSO shoot another agent? Both can be true.
4
dontrike May 3, 2026
Uhuh, sure. I totally trust the administration filled with alcoholics, rapists, and pedophiles. "Guys, this wasn't a staged assassination! He totally fired on people! Believe us!"
0
pillsburyDONTboi May 3, 2026 +3
Don't worry guys, they'll have ChatGPT generate a previously unreleased body cam footage of the perp firing his weapon.
3
astroglitch0 May 3, 2026 +2
Uh huh sure. Took a while didn't it?
2
ThePensiveE May 4, 2026 +2
What a world we live in when the world's worst assassin tries to kill the world's most incompetent leader.
2
Gumb1i May 4, 2026 +2
Notice how the reporting says it came from his gun but doesn't mention that he shot at anyone. I find that rather curious.
2
worldscollice May 4, 2026 +2
If Judge Jeanine said it, she must be drunk.
2
chester-12 May 4, 2026 +2
I don’t understand how this guy runs in with a shotgun, and lives to tell the tale. While a woman driving home gets shot…
2
Crommach May 4, 2026 +2
I mean, this is the same administration that already brazenly lied about the Pretti and Good murders in the face of publicly available video evidence, but surely this time we can trust the word of a team of upjumped Fox News hosts as truthful, expert testimony.
2
mrdanmarks May 4, 2026 +2
Buck shot? Is that even lethal?
2
onlyforsellingthisPC May 4, 2026 +2
Not a hunter I take it? Yes. Buckshot is lethal, it would be unlikely to penetrate a 3 or 3A vest given it's ballistic characteristics. Still X to doubt on this story. Way too many parts aren't adding up.
2
TheBlackestIrelia May 4, 2026 +2
just can't stop lying.
2
Life_Principle1671 May 4, 2026 +2
Ladies and Gentlemen, the most competent men in America.
2
Ryphttrasc May 4, 2026 +2
Interesting wording... not that he was shot by gunman??
2
iamthefluffyyeti May 4, 2026 +2
I Don’t believe them
2
Uno_worldchamp2009 May 4, 2026 +2
I wish I was in the room when they planned this, what ideas did the group propose and got voted down? How bad were they if this is what they went with. This feels like a plan devised by mr magoo or something.
2
wrecklesspup May 4, 2026 +2
I'll believe it when a court confirms it. This administration lies constantly so they deserve no trust.
2
Sumthin-Sumthin44692 May 4, 2026 +2
Why did it take a week to release this info? And did that guy originally say that sometimes bullets just aren’t found? Seems like this should have been an easy ID…unless they are lying…again.
2
ShortBrownAndUgly May 4, 2026 +2
Don’t trust a single word that comes out of their f****** mouths
