The fuel switches were cut off and the pilot asked the captain why he “cut off” on the recordings

It should eventually come out, but all signs point to pilot suicide. The captain was suffering from depression, and the First Officer noted that the captain turned off the fuel switches. https://www.khaleejtimes.com/world/asia/air-india-flight-171-crash-pilot-deliberately-cut-fuel-switch-report-says#
But people are always, especially in Asia, deny such a thing is possible. People still deny MH370 was a suicide.

There are plenty of people who believe in the theory, conspiracy theory or otherwise, that China Eastern MU5735 was pilot suicide. But since China loves to cover things up and it was a domestic flight, no one outside the Chinese government will ever know the truth.

It’s coming close to a year now. Any respectable agency/govt would have worked hard to conclude the issue. I cannot fathom how family members must be feeling . Accidents happen. But responding with accountability and transparency in timely manner is the only way to restore dignity to victim and loved ones in such tragedy.

Take a look at the avg timeline from accident to final report for nearly all recent and older aircraft crashes

average timeline for complex incidents is understandable. here even a baseline has not been reached.
>"There is only one email ID, and responses take up to 15 days. Many people in villages don't even know how to use email," he said.
This is very accountable behavior. And from what I read in article they(victim) are only asking for CVR Recording to be released. That much they can do no? I think they should have right to the evidence.

Can release it with the final report as precedent for all aircraft accidents before

now that it is in the hands of Indian Judiciary that will take some time.
>Court cases in India commonly take 10–20 years to reach a final verdict due to massive pendency,

Typical of India. No accountability or transparency.

Not sure what they expect to find. The lead pilot killed 260 people. It's pretty straightforward.

The investigation team may release the data only when the investigation is finished but they will not release the CVR recording since no one does that 🙁
