I had read about Airwolf Season 4. it's been in my queue for a long time.
finally got to work. I watched the first 3 episodes yesterday.
later, I hallucinated for hours and hours. not about Airwolf specifically. because it's not about Airwolf. triggered from Airwolf, but not by Airwolf. it's complicated

It was its own series, technically, and, if I remember correctly, it was filmed pretty much solely so there would be enough episodes to sell the whole shebang into syndication. It is wet, hammered dogshit, though.

they sourced a plethora of stock footage. not just from 3 seasons of Airwolf, but from other sources.
the cast is thrown together. the scripts are...what? everyone needs to be rescued, Jo needs rescuing often, and Airwolf is always "in route" for the majority of every episode
it's hilarious. comedic gold. if you strickly 4th wall everything

Too me a lot of the early 80s, late 70's shows like this were so bland and void of soul and creativity.
Knight Rider, Airwolf, it's all same shit different toilet imo.
