Even with literal evidence that this guy was training with Hamas and moving RPGs + other weapons, people still think he’s a regular journalist
Al Jazeera unfortunately isn’t a credible source considering they exclusively cover anti-Israel stories.

Jpost is right-leaning for sure. All of these outlets have an agenda. My point is we have literal video evidence proving Al-Jazeera hired a terrorist posing as a journalist. Maybe they were deceived (doubtful), but regardless, they should acknowledge the proof of him in Hamas uniform training with their forces and transferring RPGs and weapons.
Is your next reply going to tell me that these are all doctored AI photos?

The above comment mentioned Al Jazeera. This post is about a BBC article. Jpost has nothing to do with this post.

Wasn't he a Hamas fighter? Saw his pictures firing guns in military uniform.

To be completely fair - those were retreived from a Hamas device. There is a possibility that Hamas requires participation, and some evidence of participation, by journalists before they give them safe passage and access, with the photos serving as insurance.
I think we need more evidence about both what the vehicle was doing, and any recent evidence the IDF has on Wishah's activities. It would also be interesting to go through Hamas's devices to see if there was a pattern of cataloguing incriminating media, but i doubt anyone with the means to would want to look into that.

Just because you were pressed into service does not make you a civilian or in this case just a journalist… you carry weapons for the enemy, you are a combatant and thus a target…

Yes, I agree. But taking a photo at shooting practice isnt the same as actively participating in terrorist activities.
Which is what I meant about his recent actions and what the rationale of striking the car was. Was their intelligence showing that it was being used to move arms, and/or that Wishah was participating in moving arms? If there was then that clears things up.

Al Jazeera needs to stop hiring terrorists. It destroys the reputation of the organization and makes it look extremely biased and untrustworthy.

I mean, whoever still trusts Al Jazeera by now would continue trusting them no matter what. This case was nothing new; it has happened countless times before and will happen again.

Taking into account how many medical facilities have been destroyed and how many civilian casualties there are due to Israel's fault I don't think these accusations will change anything fundamentally

The whole narrative against the IDF or Israel is built on saying israel isn't credible. All of the israel isn't credible traces back to misinformation from terror or Islamic sources usually, or sometimes poorly worded headlines in western publications. There's never any substance to it. Just the same blood libel against the jews as forever. Just in a new form.

I think the narrative against the IDF and Israel is due to their actions, not just questioning their credibility. Their actions in Gaza being the driving factor in the past few years.

Which actions specifically? Obviously soldiers made mistakes as is the horror of war. It shouldn't have been necessary for them to be there. Given it was necessary, no one can provide a better way for israel to have dealt with Hamas and gotten it to a point where it is now that the world can work on a mechanism to free Gaza from Hamas.
So to say israel did horrible things, while no army in the history of the world has done more to protect civillians while attacking an army embded among civilians, is a denial of the reality of a war underneath and within civilian areas.

That’s the one question not a single person successfully gave an actual valid answer to, israel get’s invaded by land sea and air by the combat brigade of the official government of a hostile territory. Has over 1000 civilians murdered, not with bombs, not as collateral, murderer by bare hands, rocket lunchers and ak47
Has 250 civilians taken, including several children, and two LITERAL babies.
What would israel’s next step should be?
It’s always the same “ they shouldn’t have occupied gaza in the first place” or
“Not what they did”
But never what they should have done.

Typical croticize israel without providing a better way to take out terrorists in civillian areas and no example of another nation thats done better.
Let's not even discuss how the Hamas leaders in Gaza encourage civillians to stay put in war zones to be martyrs and serve as meat shields. Very convenient to blame Israel while trying to avoid civillians where possible and not Hamas trying to put civillians in the way where possible.
