It does seem like she'd be really fun, she plays a really arch villain in a Star Wars: Visions episode and she's delightfully over-the-top. However, I'll be impressed if this movie makes money just because of the sheer volume of good stuff coming out this year.

Jared Leto is a piece of shit who has been in a lot of shitty films. Jared Leto has also won an Oscar and appeared in Bladerunner 2049, Requiem For A Dream, Fight Club and American Psycho. just because he's a terrible person, people need to stop acting as though he's somehow box office poison. the man has a CV that most actors would kill for.

I think the trailer makes it look like it has a 30% chance of being a good movie, and I'm not a gambling man. I'll wait for the reviews but Leto isn't going to be the defining factor for me.

I have no idea why people think he can tank a movie all by himself. If a movie with Jared Leto in it fails, it's not because of him. It's because the movie just sucks. That's why he still gets casted in movies. Even if he was the main character in a movie like Morbius, he wouldn't be the reason the movie fails. Do people really think Morbius would have been a blockbuster if Leto wasn't in it?

I believe he is just playing the voice of skelator so someone is probably gonna edit him out with a proper voice later on, so when it's released on VOD you could just replace those scenes later at your leisure.
