Israel and maybe the Gulf States were allies in this Iran war. The article is talking about European allies. Who weren't allies at all in this Iran war. Truly a poor article.

Here's a prediction; It IS going to backfire.

Netanyahu asked Presidents Obama and Biden to participate in attacking Iran. They turned him down for obvious reasons. It was easy for Netanyahu to convince Trump because he probably told him it would distract from the Epstein files. Especially since Trump's accuser's testimonies to the FBI were all over the news. So many innocent lives lost because Trump needed a war of distraction. I am so disgusted with the Republican Party and the conservative Supreme Court Justices. Trump should have been in jail for years!

Maybe that's the "goal" then, causing as much worldwide mayhem as possible while abusing the stock market and giving uncle P some extra cash, with the Middle East energy as collateral

I mean with the current administration, a rushed deal with major issues is about the best we can expect

'European allies fear an inexperienced U.S. negotiating team is pushing for a swift, headline‑grabbing framework deal with Iran that could entrench rather than resolve deeper problems, diplomats with past experience dealing with Tehran said.' 🍿

Is it? for example $20B for some photo op handover of whatever can be scrounged up quickly and a bunch of vague commitments would be pretty worthless without putting in the work to reestablish JCPOA's IAEA monitoring regime.

There should be no deal with the Islamic Republic. That's like making a deal with Hitler or ISIS. The Islamic Republic will violate any deal it signs. It is not trustworthy. Regime change is the only solution.
