I (26f) can’t believe there’s only 1 month left until I move for nursing school. I’ve been praying so many times for time to move faster because I wanna start already. However, it’s bittersweet. It’s making me a little bit emotional thinking of leaving soon because I’m gonna miss my family. Thankfully they’ll only be 2 hours away and this is gonna be my second degree so I’m not new to this but yeah. I got so used once again with living with them and I’m so grateful I got to spend almost 3 years here with them in my small hometown. Made even more memories and got to live under the same roof as my brother. One day it’s all gonna change. And change is uncomfortable but it’s part of growth. I wish my parents didn’t age. Im forever grateful for them, they’ve supported me so much. Im gonna make them proud. I’m happy for myself as well, can’t wait!
That’s a really beautiful place to be in, excited and a little emotional at the same time. It just shows how much you love your family and how meaningful these past few years have been. Two hours isn’t far, and those memories don’t go anywhere. As a fellow f26, I'm proud of you! :)

That's a great post. Best of luck with nursing school. You are right when you say that change is uncomfortable but you will find, eventually, that the times in your life that were the hardest were also the times you made the most progress.

its really bittersweet, exciting to start a new chapter but hard leaving the comfort of family. good thing theyre only a couple hours away so its not too far.

wow thats wild how fast the move is coming up... I get why it feels emotional... im sure you’ll miss being around your family every day but two hours isn’t too far to visit... :) change can feel uncomfortable but it’s also exciting (and freeing!) you’re ready to grow and make them proud.
