Is the second season worth watching?

I didn't finish it but the first season is one of the best series out there

With you. I stopped watching about halfway through season two. The first one was fantastic.

I thought it was decent but it was basically a completely different show that they just slapped "The Terror" name over.

Is it not horror? I adored the first season.

It's horror. There's a supernatural element woven in just like season 1. I liked it.

I knew it was separate but had heard mixed reviews. Was wondering if it gives the same vibe

I didn't enjoy it as much as the first season but still thought it was quite good.

It’s really good, it’s just bizarre they turned a singular story into an anthology.

Especially because "The Terror" was the name of the ship in the first season. It's like if they made a second season of Firefly with a different cast on a planet and they never get on a Firefly ship.

It's like the writers saw Halloween III: Season of the Witch and thought it was the right move for a franchise

Yes I promise it's worth the watch. Both seasons are great

Not in my opinion.

Yes, it’s about Japanese interment camps and old demons Not as claustrophobic and tense as S1 but still worth your time

Absolutely loved the first season, didn’t make it past the premiere of the second. The immediate drop in writing and acting quality was so glaring

You can get a better version of season 2 if you read The Fervor by Alma Katsu, imo

I read the book that Season 3 is based on (The Devil in Silver by Victor LaValle). It’s a good book but I felt that much like his novel The Changeling (which was adapted to a series on AppleTV) and his newest one Lone Women, the third act falls apart. I will be curious to see how it does as a show. I thought season 1 of The Terror was excellent and adored the book it’s based on but no idea why they made it an anthology named after one book that the other seasons have nothing to do with 🤷🏽‍♂️

The first two seasons were an interesting mix of horror and historic fiction. This new season seems more like straight horror, which, if so, is a bit of a disappointment for me.

Yeah, I feel like if this anthology was going to have a niche, it would be historical horror with a bit of EC comics karmic retribution.

1st season is amazing! 2nd season is not bad.

Enjoyed both seasons. Liked 2nd one so much, we named our travel trailer, The Yurei (though the wife wasn't too happy).

Terror is just like Chernobyl A ONE (series) show Why they are bothering to make new unrelated seasons to the first one is beyond me

I always said they should do a season based on the Corps of Discovery expedition. They could easily blend the historical fiction and horror of exploring the Americas.
