American Pickers Season 27 Ep 20

I have been watching American Pickers for a long, long time. was crushed when Frank passed away. I was not happy with the way that AP handled that for those years BUT now it is soooooo damn nice to see Frank in the clips from the past shows as the new ones are out. More and more episodes are showing vintage Frank. I am so glad things are ok now. RIP, Frank. I still miss ya

Honest to goodness this is one of those shows I used to use as background noise all the time. It was fun, light and fluffy TV that didn't feel quite as "scummy" as the likes of Pawn Stars most of the time anyway. They even had an episode they filmed near where I live, which was cool because I live in the middle of nowhere in a spot nobody ever films anything in. I didn't realize the show was still airing. Wow.

I could believe that. I never got a bad vibe from them in then same way I did from some other folks. Like everybody who ever appeared on Storage Wars.

That was like the all time scummiest show. Everybody on the show just reeked of sleaze.

Been using it as background too while working on designs - those vintage finds always gave me inspiration for color palettes and textures

It's a good "I'm doing other things" kind of a show. When I'm working on something, or cleaning the house, etc., and just want something to focus on for five minutes here and there as I go along this is the kind of show I'd typically reach for. Relatively long form low effort entertainment.

My wife and I saw Frank in Nashville once. That's it, we just saw him in traffic, always seemed like a cool guy.
