Listening to this podcast in 2009/10/11 really got me into television. And was great chemistry between arguably two of the pre-eminent TV critics of the Golden Age of television. anybody feels like it's so strange that we are approaching 20 years and neither alan sepinwall or dan fienberg have had a consistent podcast presence (excepting the 5 years or so of TV's Top Five with Dan, which was also great)?
I was a fan of Sepinwall's Sopranos/Lost reviews from back before the podcast, so at least early 2000's, not sure when I started reading his blog. I followed him through a lot of job transitions, loved the podcast as you mentioned. I definitely lost track of him when he went to Rolling Stone, though I saw some here and there. I've tried other TV focused podcasts and none of them hit the same way.

He also did a short-lived "Too Long, Didn't Watch" podcast that was fun.

Alan has left Rolling Stone and is doing his own thing with his What’s Alan Watching site. I subscribed. $5 month to buy Alan a cup of coffee seems like a deal to me.

Dan Fienberg appears on the Nick Digilio podcast every two weeks to talk television.
