Any of the more obscure Apple TV shows worth watching?

Slow Horses is the best

Sunny I liked a lot, but the end is weak and they canceled it - so I’d not advise people bother with it.

Murderbot was surprisingly good and I can’t wait for another season of that.

Slow Horses is why I subscribed.

Slow horses is easily one of the best shows on apple TV it rivals severance and silo for me.

Murderbot is very slow but fun.

I gotta say, I’m enjoying Palm Royale. I like a costume period show, & honestly it’s fun to see Carol Burnett (!!!) as a villain. Good casting!

Foundation just looks so good.

God I want a third season of Pachinko.

Pachinko was absolutely their best show and it's tragic that it was so underwatched.

Loved Pachinko, I had read the book years before and didn’t want to watch, but I finalky did and it was beautifully done.

I came late to it, but this is my favorite series that I’ve watched in the last couple years.

One of the best series I've ever watched. I liked it much more than Severance and Pluribus. I believe there are several more seasons in the works.

Platonic is great. And speaking of Seth Rogan, The Studio is also great.

“Don’t ask, don’t get” actually improved my life

I laugh everytime I see a Celcius. 

Watched the first episode on a whim and thought I wasnt going to be into it. But I binged the second episode to the end pretty quick.

I started off liking this show a lot, but as they sort of devolved into toxic codependency it lost its humor and became more… anxiety inducing in a cringe way if that makes sense? Could just be me as I’m prone to anxiety Enjoyed earlier on when it was more about their unique friendship, but then as their friendship seemed to unravel the rest of one another’s lives I couldn’t sit through the cringe. Does it get better or worse in second season?

Long wait for season 2. Imma do check up on it. Edit: this summer. Hopefully.

The fact that David Dastmalchian's character is the least weird person in it is funny.

A perfect mix of wholesome and ab-workout levels of hilarious (similar vibes, imho, to Ted Lasso and Schitt’s Creek)! I wish they marketed it better so more people knew about it. Truly a gem!

Thank you! This one is actually obscure, yet has managed to get 5 seasons. I don’t know anyone who watches it but it’s fantastic. Surpasses Ted Lasso eventually.

I hate musicals, but I love Schmigadoon and Galavant! I just heard a radio commercial yesterday, they are doing a live Schmigadoon stage show. Kind of surprised me, wasn't expecting to hear that name.

Season 2 finale is one of my all time favorite season finales.

Scroll all the way to the bottom before anyone likes Bad Monkey. Look, I like Slow Horses and Murderbot as much as anyone but Bad Monkey is better than it has any right to be.

It really was. Maybe for people who haven't watched it, they should go in with low expectations. Its basically Vince Vaughn being Vince Vaughn

I went and expected it to be trash. It was fun for what it was and a stupid good time. I think the narration was the right move for the show.

Bad Sisters season 1 was so good.

It is a show, but it’s just a mini series isn’t it? 

There is a lot of quality on these shows, but Black Bird might be the best of the bunch. Paul Walter Hauser stole the show, very well acted and a tight story.

I thought season two was the best. It also has one of my favorite episodes in the last ten years. Season 3 has another one but overall it’s not as good as 1 and 2.

The first couple seasons were. The final season had a noticable drop in quality

The first season and the Covid specials are absolutely incredible. The first time I’ve ever felt like a creative team had even a passing idea what it’s actually like to make games. And then - despite some banger episodes throughout - it just never makes good on that promise for the rest of the run. But that first season and those two specials - top tier

It was okay. I say that as a big Sunny/McElhenney fan. Some GREAT episodes in between mostly boring storylines.

It has no business actually being that good. Genuinely care about the characters, who'd of thunk that would be the case! Guess all it took was good writing!

Just started season 2. Amazing writing and quality

It’s disappointing that hardly anyone mentions Loot. It has such a good comedy pedigree. Created and written by a bunch of people who wrote for Parks & Rec, and a few who wrote for 30 Rock, The Good Place, Brooklyn 99, Community, and Superstore. It also has a brilliant cast including Maya Rudolph, Nat Faxon and Ron Funches. Apple TV sucks at promoting its own content, and I think Loot got the shortest straw.

As a former nonprofit worker, there’s a lot of reality there too. Some not so much but I felt a lot of it deeply haha.

I just marathoned The Morning Show. It’s a high-class soap, but goddamn is it entertaining.

It's what HBO used to be.

Sugar was so fun. I love how weird Colin Farrell gets with his characters.
