Any recommandation about police or mafia HK movie ?

I watched many times HongKonk movies like **Infernal Affairs I II and III**, or all **elections** movies (黑社會*)* , I liked also **drugwar** \*who seems realistic. But my culture about it is not good, but the atmosphere, the treatment... I like everything. Do you have other recommandations for movies please with this thematic ?

I assume you’ve seen them but all of John woo’s early stuff, the killer and hard boiled are fun as hell.

PTU and Exiled by Johnnie To are essential if you haven't seen them - To basically owns that whole space and his stuff has the same gritty atmosphere as everything you listed

omg you need to watch "hard boiled" if you haven't already!! john woo's action scenes are insane and the whole cop vs criminal thing is peak 90s hk cinema.

If you're in the US, The Big Heat (1988) is streaming on Tubi currently. Extremely violent Hong Kong cop movie. Johnnie To also makes some good films. Running Out of Time, Mad Detective, The Mission. As Tears Go By (1988) - Wong War Kai movie about low-level gangsters
