hey everyone, hope youre having a chill day. im an 18 year old girl from chicago and i wanted to share something thats been on my mind lately because its still kinda surreal to me.
a little over a month ago i was super stressed about rent. like genuinely scared i wasnt gonna make the payment on time and id have to figure out where to crash. so in a moment of pure desperation i started an 0 F account. i figured id do it just long enough to cover that one bill and then delete everything.
well… it worked way better than i expected. one random guy sent a huge tip right at the beginning and it honestly blew my mind. since then ive kept it going steady and now im actually putting money aside every week for college in the fall. the rent panic is gone and i can finally breathe a little. still working my part time job but this extra has made a real difference.
the same guy still pops in and tips sometimes but nothing weird or creepy has happened. everything stays online and ive never told a single person in my real life about it. i keep the account pretty locked down.
some days i feel weird about it all and wonder what the heck im doing. other days i look at how much ive already saved and im like okay this actually worked out. im still not totally sure how i feel about the whole thing but its helping me move forward.
anyway thats my random life update lol. has anyone else here ever had a totally unexpected side thing turn into something useful? or am i the only one whos done something like this out of panic? would love to hear your stories if youre comfortable sharing.
In the 90s I started bartender one night a week to pay for my kids private school.
I wore some nice military surplus combat boots as part of the uniform. ( corsette, jean shirt shorts, black boots).
A guy kept complimenting how s*** my boots were.
He kept coming back, until one time he tried to take a pic of my legs and boots. I jokingly said if he wanted a pic he had to pay me. He agreed, and on my smoke break we went outside, I put my leg on his motor cycle and snapped probably 50 pics. Paid me $250.
He came back week after week for about 6 months.
He probably sold them, but i didnt care. Never had anything above my knees in the pics.

Haha I decided to become a stripper on a whim, paid for my house, car, education and gave me the freedom to work when I want.
Ignore the haters! Do whatever is comfortable for you and dont listen to anyone that says it isnt a real job etc. Lastly dint forget to have fun! Those that have fun.. rake in the cash!

Wow, that's interesting. You've been doing this for a while—how much have you earned from it all?
I'm just getting started—it's been about two months.
Yeah, unfortunately, there are a lot of haters, and not everyone understands how hard it is—especially emotionally.

I dont have an exact number as ive always had a secondary job but there were days id pull 6gs.. and others id make like 100$. It made a decent average in the end.
Yea it can be tough emotionally especially at the start. I have a "dont give a f***" attitude. If you like my show come watch, if not maybe the next dancers your thing. Set your boundrys, dont let ppl walk on em (unless its a REDICULIOUS amount of cash then they might get bent a lil bit lol) but never anything you are uncomfortable doing.
Honestly the best thing I found for my mental health was owning it. Theres something freeing about doing whatever you want with your body.. and if thats doing intresting things people pay to watch? So be it. Not alot of ppl can do it so own it. Make it yours.

A girl I’m friends with sorta did that, but she isn’t saving it for college. Just keep a check on your mental health. She takes super extended breaks from it because it starts to f*** with her, and she wouldn’t be mentally or emotionally okay if she did it more often.
Not saying you’re the same way; more power to you if you’re not. Just something to be aware of early on.

I sold the four pounds of weed a month to pay for undergrad (3 decades ago in a state where it was illegal).

I've thought about doing OF feet. Not sure if there's money in that – it'd be pretty tame stuff.

Honestly, it sounds like you were in a tough spot and found something that helped you get through it. I think a lot of people have had moments where they did something unexpected just to stay afloat, even if it wasn’t part of the plan.

I'm just wondering if I'm the only crazy one who did something so silly (as most people think), or if there's anyone who's done something even worse

I would if I could. It's just contract work similar to what I do at times for an interior remodeling contractor.
Retail is unreliable and having another "normal" job is basically impossible because retail wants fully open availability.

Typical Ukrainian tbh. Their men dying in pointless war and she goes to be a prostitute in the US. L0L, the shamelessness of women in the 21st century is insane.

Who has even crazier stories?
Tell me—I hope I'm not the only one who's this crazy
