If one agrees with Thiel on anything, you're not exactly a good person.

I agree with you

He called himself the antichrist.. way before Trump dumbed his way into it.

I don't think Thiel called himself that - he has called Greta Thunberg an anti-Christ. IMO Thiel should be confined in a padded cell until his delusions subside.

Funny he'd say that in the sense that he's an atheist - in the Ayn Randian mould. For him, his ends justify all the means. He'll do and say anything, just like his broken heroes.

“Milei also revealed that Thiel is interested in “becoming president as an anarcho-capitalist,” like himself.” Theil is still trying to find a piece of land and take it over.

The left in Argentina have a totalitarian view. They consider themselvs "the people". Democracy is only great when they win

I used to live in Buenos Aires a long time ago, and I recently reconnected with a few old friends from BA who actually love Milei. I was pretty surprised. It’s kinda like Trump, I’ve been shocked at some of the people I know who came out in support of him. 🤮

What’s with the fascist love of Argentina?
16
hahaz13 Apr 24, 2026 +1
Probably from the fact that Argentina was a safe haven for Nazis fleeing after they lost World War 2. The fascism has always been there since.

Ah, the ignorance continues. Stop getting your education from Hollywood movies please.

hahaz13 Apr 24, 2026 +13
What movies? Are you denying the existence of the Ratlines? What of the several prominent Nazis caught in Argentina postwar?

RandomlyJim Apr 24, 2026 +7
These idiots are going to pretend history isn’t what it is.

The US actively took in nazis, way more than ever escaped to Argentina.

The ignorance displayed in listnook about Argentina never ceases to amaze.

Oh I’m sorry. Should we not mention the Fascism? Don’t cry for me about Argentina. Argentina’s history included significant authoritarian and fascist influenced movements, especially between 1930 and 1970.

F****** cringe. Yes, we had a terrible dictatorship in the 70s, 30.000 people 'dissapeared' without a trace or just cause. Babies were stolen from dissident families and given in adoption to those who towed the line. People were tortured to death, bodies thrown into the river unceremoniously. Which is why today the vast majority of the population is extremely against fascism. There is a whole cultural movement against it, "Nunca Mas" (never again). Look it up you ignorant bellend. As for Milei, he was voted in democracy, like it has been for the last 50 years in the country. He is an absolute idiot and he leans right, but he was not voted for the love of fascism, but as a reaction to the terrible left leaning governments we had for quite some time before him. As the rest of the world today, we have terrible politicians, on both ends of the spectrum, but to say Argentina loves fascism is an ignorance of the greatest order. I suggest you try to educate yourself before trying to act knowing and wise, it makes you look like a complete fool.

That’s a whole lot of words and fury you just wasted. I said fascists love Argentina. I didn’t say Argentina loves fascism. It’s a distinction that may be lost in your anger but it f****** matters.
