War in Iran, gas prices are up, rent is still climbing, unemployment is getting worse, the stock market is down YTD, COL is up across the board in all areas, still no epistien list released, backed out of supporting Ukraine like the weak, cowardly country that we have always been known to be. Attacks on our military, both personnel and history.
The vast amount of mental gymnastics you have to be willing to put yourself through to think America is in a good place right now is truly a mental handicap.
Thank god I don't have to worry about this shit hole anymore. Let the techno-billionaires rule the country; America deserves it.

From the article:
Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) on Friday vetoed a bill to rename Phoenix’s State Route 202, or Loop 202, after conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated late last year.
Hobbs denounced Kirk’s death as “tragic and a horrifying act of violence,” saying Americans should resolve their political differences at the ballot box. Kirk was killed in September at a rally held at Utah Valley University.
“I will continue working toward solutions that bring people together, but this bill falls short of that standard by inserting politics into a function of government that should remain nonpartisan,” she wrote to state lawmakers.
“Any renaming of a highway must follow the current process through the Arizona State Board on Geographic and Historic names and not be circumvented by the Legislature,” she added.
State Senate President Warren Petersen (R), one of the bill’s sponsors, accused Hobbs of breaking with “a long-standing Arizona tradition of recognizing impact over politics.”
“Arizona has never required political agreement to recognize someone’s contribution to public life,” he wrote in a statement. “We’ve recognized impact, service and people who’ve shaped conversations and encouraged others to participate.”

Politics aside, what has CK even contributed?

I'm sure the GOP will force this once they control the governorship again. For now it was a longshot.
