No, they also think of trans kids.

Imagine when Trump passes. All sins wiped clean. They will demand the nation forget everything they've witnessed and worship the new Reagan. They'll rebrand his entire existence.
1
eeyore134 Mar 29, 2026 +1
There's also the chance of them demonizing him after January 20th to get Vance in so Vance can get another 2 terms, then they'll all pretend they never liked him or supported him to begin with.
1
tekniklee Mar 29, 2026 +1
Sounds like they are going to try to pivot to Rubio
1
F9-0021 Mar 29, 2026 +1
There are going to be multiple factions trying to push their own guy. The corpos will push Vance. The Trumpists will want Trump or Trump Jr. The Nazis will want whoever they want. It's going to be a lot of infighting and hopefully a fracturing of the party.
1
Gaanai Mar 29, 2026 +1
My guess is Hegseth. If he manages to stay out of jail that is. He embodies the middle school bully energy conservatives loves so much. Probably because it around that time they stop maturing.
1
eeyore134 Mar 29, 2026 +1
That should be interesting. Wonder how they'll try to pull that off.
1
EarthRester Mar 29, 2026 +1
It's honestly going to just be spaghetti at the wall for the GOP when Trump keels over. The entire party is going to implode on itself as factions vie for power in the vacuum that is MAGA. As just about anybody that affiliates with them and has two brain cells to rub together is only there for the grift, and not to actually be responsible for any plans/actions.
1
Mike_Kermin Mar 29, 2026 +1
Nah, Trump will never give up power.
1
483-04-7751 Mar 29, 2026 +1
Reagan was also a horrible, immoral ghoul, so that wouldn't that big of a stretch.
1
UndeadPhysco Mar 29, 2026 +1
Oh you joke, but i fully believe that when he goes there are going to be SO MANY conservatives lining up to preach about how they never actually liked/supported him
1
PossessedToSkate Mar 29, 2026 +1
Family & friends, neighbors with flags/signs, fellow regulars at establishments I frequent, businesses that have flaunted their support. The people who have been reveling in this nightmare for nearly ten years. I've been keeping a list.
1
TheAskewOne Mar 29, 2026 +1
Who else can they worship? They have no hero who died defending conservative causes that they can reasonably admire, because there’s no conservative cause that doesn’t make you look like a hateful jerk.
1
Flomo420 Mar 29, 2026 +1
and they're all wayyy too selfish to actually die for something They'll ask *others* to die on their behalf
1
dasterdly_duo Mar 29, 2026 +1
I think it's a mix of worship and ragebaiting. Like how the Southern states started putting up statues of Confederate soldiers once they realized how much it offended and upset Black people. I bet anything it's the same with Kirk. Conservatives and MAGAts know it would bother people to have to look at that f*****'s name every day, or be forced to listen to traffic reporters and GPS say 'The Charlie Kirk Freeway.'
1
Illustrious-Fun8324 Mar 29, 2026 +1
Which is part of why I’m glad they lost
1
DonkeyPunchCletus Mar 29, 2026 +1
Ironically putting up Kirk statues or putting his name on things only serves to humiliate him. The signs will be defaced and stolen. Just how confederate statues were torn down. When you put up monuments to hated people predictable things happen.
1
MASHgoBOOM Mar 29, 2026 +1
That's all they know. They're absolutely desperate to be told what to do and who to worship. The republican party as a whole has become nothing more than a death cult.
1

No one even knew who he was before he got Swiss cheesed

> F****** conservatives have gone off the deep end they have been a joke since Obama was elected.
1
ShaunWhiteIsMyTwin Mar 29, 2026 +1
Conservatives have always been a regressive joke, stop acting like they ever had shit but racism
1
Mike_Kermin Mar 29, 2026 +1
They're not a******. They said deep end, which is talking about how it's becoming more extreme. The user is saying that Obama sent them completely fasc. Which is the racism you're trying to describe.
1
DarthLithgow Mar 29, 2026 +1
They’ve been jokes far longer than that
1
Illustrious-Fun8324 Mar 29, 2026 +1
They think it triggers the libs. It doesn’t, especially because they just keep losing. Just like they did in this case.
1
TheForeverUnbanned Mar 29, 2026 +1
It’s basically the same c*** they pulled during civil rights when all of a sudden it was very important to erect a bunch of statues to slavery defending generals, they’ve always been little snowflakes pushing garbage social agendas
1
Crunchberry24 Mar 29, 2026 +1
It’s not real worship, but politics. Just like their fake worship of Jesus. They desperately wanted him to be the Republican PedoNazis’ Horst Wessel after they failed with the traitor Ashli Babbitt.
1
Ghosts_and_Empties Mar 29, 2026 +1
He was, like, a YouTuber or something?
1
NatalieVonCatte Mar 29, 2026 +1
It’s not about worshipping him, they’re trying to keep that “we’ll get you fired if you quote his own bigoted words” energy from when everyone was walking on eggshells right after he died. No one cares anymore. Their narrative fell apart, he’s not a martyr, and there must not be anything they can exploit about the killer, because the whole thing has dropped off the radar entirely. I’m feeling now like the “well he was dating a trans woman” narrative must not hold up because they’re not screeching about it.
1
MrInternetInventor Mar 29, 2026 +1
I don’t even think most of maga gives a shit about him or what he had to say
1
eeyore134 Mar 29, 2026 +1
He's their Jesus figure to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if Trump, their god, was the one who said he had to die for them.
1
Lord_Archibald_IV Mar 29, 2026 +1
These politicians aren’t worshipping him they just want to keep his name out there as someone they can point to that “proves” the left are violent and not to be trusted. I don’t think it will convert people that already think he’s a racist but it will galvanize those already on the right and make them less likely to deconvert.
1
LegDayDE Mar 29, 2026 +1
For some reason they seem to think it's a winning issue? It's bizarre. Most people didn't even know who the guy is.. and once they've heard a few of his bets sound bites certainly don't think he should be honored...
1
extra_croutons Mar 29, 2026 +1
They like big strong daddy figures to goon over.
1
Galappie Mar 29, 2026 +1
You haven’t seen anything yet. Wait until the big guy croaks and they’ll have a golden statue of him in every state.
1
IOl0I0lO Mar 29, 2026 +1
And I bet 95% of them didn't even know he existed prior to his murder.
1
Icy_Baker9068 Mar 29, 2026 +525
Pathetic that this MFer got flags at half staff and media coverage while the 13 soldiers who just died in Trumps Epstein fury didn’t get shit.

FinancialReserve6427 Mar 29, 2026 +1
because they had to sell that Iran got no diffed. dead soldiers ruin that, they learned that from the Tet Offensive. actually a loss for the North Vietnamese but the propaganda material was enough to sway public opinion.

It’s so wrong how McCain was treated.
1
pilzenschwanzmeister Mar 29, 2026 +1
He helped feed the leopards for long enough. That they ate his face at his funeral cannot be a surprise, unlike the conversation at the pearly gates where he's told he's an a******.
1
NessaMagick Mar 29, 2026 +1
"Podcaster that likes Trump dies" is a tragedy. "We got a bunch of our own men killed with our warmongering" is barely news.
1

Gramps didn’t even take off his stupid hat too.
1
rockfire Mar 29, 2026 +140
Horst Wessel was a greasy little shitstain of a thug who was turned into a Nazi propoganda martyr by Gobbels. Not at all surprising that the MAGA party wants a martyr for their propaganda. What's really disturbing is that they can't see the similarities. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horst_Wessel
140
AusToddles Mar 29, 2026 +1
The similarities are intentional
1
Outrageous-Opinions Mar 29, 2026 +1

1

They really wanted to do that but it didn't work. Charlie's mostly a meme now.
1
kernalbuket Mar 29, 2026 +1
I think this is one of the few times that social media and the internet helped. It's really hard to keep saying "it wasn't hate speech, it was just speech they hated" when you can easily find all the horrible shit he said with ease.
1
TheCryingGrizzlies Mar 29, 2026 +1
That and the fact that you can meme against the propaganda and reach a whole lot of people.
1
L1A1 Mar 29, 2026 +1
On the plus side, no one has made a [memorable song ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horst-Wessel-Lied)about him that the right can use as a rallying anthem. Well, yet. *Charlie Kirk, Charlie Kirk, he was a nasty piece of work,* *Charlie Kirk, Charlie Kirk, got shot and the right wing went berzerk.* Someone put that to music and I'll split the royalties with you.
1
NessaMagick Mar 29, 2026 +1
For some reason I'm putting that to the Danny Elfman August Gloop song.
1
L1A1 Mar 29, 2026 +1
Damn, now I’ve got to share my royalties with Danny Elfman, and I bet he’s got way better legal representation.
1

He'd have to after that Little Girls song

They never talk about the shooter either or his motives, he just doesn’t exist anymore. It’s almost like the whole martyr thing has been completely manufactured.
1
-piso_mojado- Mar 29, 2026 +1
You mean the shooter that thought Kirk wasn’t far right enough? There’s no talking point there for the GOP if the shooter wasn’t liberal.
1
kernalbuket Mar 29, 2026 +1
If they could connect them to the democrats in anyway, they would never stop talking about them.
1
20_mile Mar 29, 2026 +1
> They never talk about the shooter either or his motives, he just doesn’t exist anymore. *Thomas Matthew Crooks has entered the memory hole*

[A patsy recruited by Russia in a playbook they're increasingly interested in replicating.](https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2026/03/21/hungary-election-interference-russia-orban/) I feel bad for the volunteer firefighter who was killed in the plot. But clearly the Epstein class isn't concerned about the incidental loss of human life to further their interest - particularly Trump supporters, who they and Trump himself revile.
1
UndeadPhysco Mar 29, 2026 +1
they don't talk about the shooter because they couldn't fabricate evidence that he was a liberal nutcase fast enough. Once it came out that he came from a staunch Trump supporting family they basically had to pivot into coverup
1
tedsmitts Mar 29, 2026 +1
They certainly don't talk about the "*notices bulge* OwO what's this?" inscription on the bullet casing. Dude got got by a furry boner bullet.

Rigged, pushy debates as marketing for right wing ideology.
1
xxxxNateDaGreat Mar 29, 2026 +1
Guy was a massive piece of shit racist and sexist who went to colleges to "debate" incoming freshman for hours using whataboutism and derailing the conversation and then posting short clips where he "won" the "debate." Then he soft-pivoted to podcasting where he basically fights with liberal ghosts in his head. He made it his life's goal to indoctrinate teens into the Republican party cult. The world lost nothing of value with him gone, but now we have to deal with his beard/trad wife f****** JD Vance while propping his corpse on a pedestal to further the grift while continuing to push his regressive agendas.
1
MentalDisintegrat1on Mar 29, 2026 +1
To his credit he did lean left in the end.
1
Snow_Ghost Mar 29, 2026 +1
Back, and to the left.
1
HauntingHarmony Mar 29, 2026 +1
> He made it his life's goal to indoctrinate teens into the Republican party cult. Its important to note, he was hugely successful at that. He had a vision of getting young people to be more into right wing extremeism, and he was successful at doing that. And he used his right wing cultural influence to help trump win the white house again.
1
Sure-Assignment3892 Mar 29, 2026 +1
Just a right wing troll really. He was a terrible debater who got absolutely obliterated against educated university kids.

In Wisconsin a county proposed to change a rural road to his name. At the meeting citizens showed up to say it's a stupid idea...he had no connection to the county. They advanced it anyway. Then the next week they decided to abandon it because "it would cost more than originally expected". All of this truly is just performative
1
gdo01 Mar 29, 2026 +1
Honestly think most lip service conservatives have already forgotten who he is
1
MoveMitchGetOutDaWay Mar 29, 2026 +1
His name doesn't even deserve to be on a roadside rest stop, let alone a f****** freeway. JFC. Talk about a cult of personality.
1
cool_temperatures Mar 29, 2026 +1
Maybe his name could be printed on the inside of a toilet bowl at the rest stop? That's more fitting
1
pilzenschwanzmeister Mar 29, 2026 +1
He was the face of a right wing campaign. The campaign is still going, so of course they're going to use his face; now they don't even have to pay him for it.

1

1
TheJaybo Mar 29, 2026 +1
They're trying sooo hard to make him their MLK.
1
Packagedpackage Mar 29, 2026 +1
I have never even heard the name Charlie Kirk until he got shot. What kind of bills did he pass or legislature did he draw up to make society so good for others? I can’t find anything that he changed on the legal spectrum to actually create a physical difference in society. Really seems like a hype man.
1
blue_eyed_magic Mar 29, 2026 +1
He was a hate filled man. He encouraged hatred of women, LGBT and anyone progressive enough to want better lives for all citizens, not just a certain group of people. He stirred up anger and violence. The guy was a prick. He doesn't deserve a road named for him. He was part of the Pentecost church in Arizona that pushes christian right beliefs.
1

I'd rather have a freeway named after Mr. Beast before I'd want a freeway named after a podcaster.

1

Alex Pretti a VA nurse? Naw, let's try to put a f****** pod caster on the freeway. Alex did more in serving humanity than Kirk. I mean his wife had fireworks at his funeral and grifting his death. Shows how much she loved him, and she had to live with the dude.
1
4CHN8 Mar 29, 2026 +1
One thing to rename the highway. Did you read the license plate bill that she vetoed? That would have given money from the license fees directly to TPUSA. WTF would Arizona be doing without her?
1
rounder55 Mar 29, 2026 +1
Usually people who call for a president who was never even investigated for a crime to be executed for crimes against America don't get their name on a freeway Republicans consistently trying to use this guy's death to fundraiser and engage the base is as deplorable as some of the things he said

The vast majority of them had NO F****** CLUE who Charlie was before he got killed. None. Maybe they had heard his name, but they act like they were disciples and consumed ALL his content. It's f****** weird.

I mean yeah. Who puts a podcaster on a freeway?

It's so weird. They keep trying to make "Charlie Kirk" happen but the moment for that already passed. Nobody cares, they're not suddenly going to care if they pass a bill. The only people who *pretend* to care are die hard Trumpers who are already voting MAGA anyway, why try to push stupid shit like this and make independents hate you even more?

Look. There's a Kirk in Kirkland.

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs on Friday blocked Republicans from renaming the Loop 202 freeway in the East Valley after the slain conservative influencer Charlie Kirk. This veto comes just weeks after the Democrat vetoed another GOP-backed bill that would have created a specialty license plate in honor of Kirk. That proposal would have given $17 from every license plate purchased to the nonprofit branch of TPUSA, the controversial right-wing organization that Kirk founded in 2012. Great job Hobbs...keep it up!!

Right. And now we all know where this is going whether this happens in 1 month, 1 year, or 1 decade.

We need to keep a D governor to push back on all of the crazy shit that comes out of the legislature. Fingers crossed that there's a chance of a flip in one house or the other. Can anyone more knowledgeable than me say if that's even possible? I'm hoping Scweikert's seat flips.

How about we name those speed strips that keep you awake after your car starts drifting out of the lane ? Maybe a small section of dangerous highway.

Good God what a f****** waste of pathetic nonsense that man child was. He did everyone a favor by doing that impromptu impression of a lawn sprinkler after catching that bullet from an impressive distance.

I'm sure their is some public restrooms or even those temporary plastic toilets that can bare his name.

Maybe on the porta-potties at a rest stop west of Gila Bend.

Maybe because he was a weird little prick who annoyed students well beyond that age himself? Granted, some of his final observations that probably led to him being offed were sadly accurate.

They can always adopt a highway strip and then never clean it.

elammcknight Mar 29, 2026 +1
Good, they are that desperate for a hero or us this just another "own the Libs" move? I am glad they apparently dont realize they are cringing their potential future voting base to a point where huge numbers of those age 15-25 think their cause is a complete joke. They openly mock all of this. Does MAGA and these sorts not pay attention to TikTok or things of that nature?

Including or not including his name on a freeway.

Sweaty-taxman Mar 29, 2026 +1
I’d be down to name a bathroom after him.
