Literally the exact same tactic used by Southern slaveowners in the Civil War to [convince illiterate teenagers to die for their ownership of people](https://youtu.be/PY09Ord-jZ8?t=6483) while both they and rich Northerners [bought their way out of drafts](https://youtu.be/PY09Ord-jZ8?t=6466) for $300 or the equivalent of $7,717 today. This caused the Atlanta bread riots and the New York City Draft Riots, respectively, at around the same time in 1863. (The latter by Irishmen angry at the idea they’d fight for Black freedmen to eventually [take “their” jobs](https://youtu.be/APo2p4-WXsc).) And that’s why these fascists are destroying history and I’m fighting to save it; the more things change, the more they stay the same, so if we recognize the pattern we can stop it.

In the South about a third of white households owned slaves. It wasn't all just the super-rich who owned hundreds. Some families even shared ownership of a slave. So it was an aspirational goal for whites, and its maintenance a bedrock component of white supremacy. Which Alexander Stephens went into in his [Cornerstone Speech](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornerstone_Speech). Even whites who didn't own slaves still saw its preservation a key bulwark against social and legal equality for blacks they considered innately beneath them.

Their entire economic system was built around slavery. In many ways it would be like banning gasoline. Sure there's alternatives, and it wouldn't impact everyone evenly, but it's hard to even imagine what that would look like to your average joe.
And really it wasn't just about one aspect. Politically, socially, economically, racially it was intertwined in all of it. It was their identity and affirmation to their self worth.

And as I pointed out earlier in my video essay, the North likes to think it’s always been the Union to the South’s Confederacy but [guess whose banks funded slavery?](https://youtu.be/PY09Ord-jZ8?t=738) Your point reinforces my larger thesis that America is a dualistic nation and whosoever supported as well as aided, abetted, and covered up the legacy of the “Republic [that] bore with it chains of bondage” ([38 minutes in to my uncensored video on Substack](https://open.substack.com/pub/historyflightsproductions/p/americas-dangerous-president-worship), as unfortunately Netflix copyright struck the YouTube portions related to *Death by Lightning* and James Garfield) is part of the legacy of the Confederacy. What we know right now is there is a video of Erika Kirk talking about the event (Unfuck America) and saying she wanted TPUSA ASU people to counter-table them but she was pissed off because they weren't.
Allegedly after this the unfuck America event ASU had scheduled got cancelled and a TPUSA event took its place with both Tucker Carlson's old writer that got fired from fox for racist comments such as calling black people "Jet black congo n words (hard r)" and Jack posobiec, Steve bannon's side kick and author of the book "Unhumans" where he talks about how Republicans need to use the tactics of Franco and Pinochet against the 'unhumans'. You guys should read it it's wonderful and even more unhinged than I could communicate here.

I'm just going to throw out some excerpts from the book "Unhumans" because I want to take the opportunity to show people just how bad this shit is. The vice president and Trump Jr endorsed this book by the way
>You may already be a subject of unhumans. You are employed by unhumans. You are married to . . . you get it. You know. There’s nowhere for you to run or to hide. You are at the mercy of those who show no mercy. We will not fault you for doing what you must to survive…
>Pinochet offered reciprocal punishment to the communist revolutionaries, demoralizing their cause and diminishing their ranks. All allies of anti-civilization were ruthlessly excised from Chilean society. The story of tossing communists out of helicopters hails from Pinochet’s elimination of communism during the mid to late 1970s. Wherever Pinochet was, there was no communism. And the globalist intelligentsia didn’t like that. Not one little bit.
**JD Vance's endorsement:**
>In the past, communists marched in the streets waving red flags. Today, they march through HR [Human Resources], college campuses, and courtrooms to wage lawfare against good, honest people. In Unhumans, Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisec reveal their plans and show us what to do to fight back
A paranoid screed about Unhumans:
>Unhumans still support communism after it killed 100 million people in the twentieth century. They are not bothered that communism killed 100 million people. In fact, they think 100 million deaths is just a good start. Those wholly possessed by resentment want to 10X that number. On a base level, unhumans seek the death of the successful and the desecration of the beautiful. They want to smash civilization. And so whenever and wherever they gain power, they do. And yet, conservatives would rather whine about equal treatment while unhumans are drawing them toward freshly dug graves.
The "Iron Law of Reciprocity" the book champions:
>To fight back, conservatives, centrists, moderates, and even good liberals will need to embrace something they have never considered. They must embrace exact reciprocity. That which is done by the communist and the regime must be done unto them.
The book is essentially goading the reader into the idea that the threat is everywhere and you must act:
>Something is deeply wrong with the way things are going and you know it. You may not be able to explain it with studies, surveys, or statistics, but you feel it. You’ve felt this way for a while. Like there’s some outside force or group or . . . something . . . that’s sent us all off course from the libertarian utopia we should’ve achieved by now. It doesn’t seem like one -ism or -ation is entirely to blame, like globalism or immigration, capitalism or inflation. … Evidence of the unhuman activity is everywhere we look. But can we really pin all those on communists? Nobody pays attention to CPUSA. And there hasn’t been a Carmelite nun–style massacre. Or mass arrest and torture of landlords. But they’re arresting landlords in New York City, now. And yet . . . the history of the revolution . . . the present day . . . it feels directionally accurate, doesn’t it? [idiosyncratic ellipses in original]
>We don’t negotiate with globalist neo-Marxists. We don’t negotiate with the political version of an auto-immune disease. In a word, ladies and gentlemen—taken from the title of my book—we don’t negotiate with un-humans. Because that’s the stakes of this battle: humanity versus un-humanity. Populist nationalists versus atheist Marxist globalists. Strength, beauty, and genius versus weakness, ugliness, and stupidity. Civilization versus barbarism. Crime and chaos versus law and order…

Whenever I see the words “Libertarian Utopia” I automatically think of the city of Rapture in Bioshock.
People have no grasp of history. We have *already* tried total free market economics - that was the 19th century, the age of Boom and Bust - it caused so much political and social instability that the Laws that were brought in to stop it weren’t so much to stabilise the economy, as to stop the mob from rising up and beating capitalsts to death in front of their families.
We’ve *done* this. It didn’t work so badly that the rich folk were the ones passing the laws for a 5 day week, and the separation of the banking and insurance companies, and all the other laws that allow us to function as a society without beating the rich to death.

I used to think of Rapture, now I think about *A Libertarian Walks into a Bear* since it documents an actual physical real life libertarian utopia where people called a person a fascist because he put out a fire without consent from the building's owner who wasn't present at the scene. Also bears stopped hibernating because a woman kept feeding all of them.

He followed Richard Spencer around for a year and [filmed propaganda and a documentary with the Clark brothers](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r5j0JBItheA) (who were directly tied to the tree of life synagogue shooting in pennsylvania. One killed himself the day after and the other got arrested). It's pretty clear Posobiec is a neo-nazi or at least very adjacent to those beliefs if you dig into the dirth of information in his past. I've only scratched the surface. He was also a fan of Harold Covington (neonazi kicked out of Rhodesia for being too racist lol)
>Posobiec: Judicial Watch tells me they think 100% it’s bc I was a white protester and black cop. DC political demonstration laws are extremely lenient
>Spencer: Doesn’t surprise me at all

We can have democratic reform, a fairer tax system and reinvestment in the public sector; we don't have to be mounting illegal wars of choice or kidnapping immigrants off the street. We have a great Constitution. It's been the model and inspiration for countless democratic movements and people seeking freedom and protection of the rule of law for centuries. Losing faith in the Constitution would be the greatest victory for Trump and his gang, who despise it.

For a lot of folks I guess it feels like this happened overnight, but in truth we've been the frog in the pot since Nixon. The Southern Strategy was real, and it laid the foundation for the US we have today. That coupled with an electoral college and a system that allows 800,000 people in one state to have the same representation in the Senate as 40 million people in another state. Doubtful it's fixable now.

That Erika Kirk?

Charlie Kirk built up TPUSA by forcing public universities to accommodate them under free speech claims. Now they're on the other side. Typical fascist tactics.

Its like how the Israelis say "Never Again", what they really mean is "Never Again *to us*" they dont give a f*** about it happening to anyone else to the point rhat theyre happy to starve and deny water and even shelter to 2 million people theyre currently occupying
To the right wingers out there, stop listening to what these motherfuckers SAY and start paying attention to what they DO.....they are not on your side, theyre in their own side and their only guiding principles are power and money, if that means you get stepped on so be it

Long ago, Ann Coulter had an appearance scheduled at my University. Tons of us objected to it, and we really didn’t want her spreading hate on our campus. The speech went ahead as planned, and one of the student body expressed their displeasure in the form of a thrown pie to the face.
Now, when Erika Kirk dislikes something management jumps right to it and cancels and event. I mean, I know the double standards thing is an expression of power for right wingers (eg haha I can do something you cant), but when administrators go along with it its infuriating.

Toilet Paper USA has been a cancer in the Phoenix area since before her piece of shit husband was introduced to irony.
They've been harassing ASU students and staff for years, and are currently attempting to take over one of our major water and power utilities, SRP. Their endorsements are all over campaign signs right now, and I just wish they'd go back to Charlie's home, the 'burbs of Chicago, because we've had too much of these f****** fascists forcing their way into our government. We finally got rid of Arpaio in 2016, but that's about it.
