The world is being squeezed from both ends because of two entirely avoidable and illegal wars.

The US and Israel should face the same international sanctions as Russia.

On that, the sanctions relief on Russian oil is probably going to be extended or become permanent to compensate for the fall in Middle Eastern supplies.

Yea, and the people all over the world are now shifting the blame to their own government when it is not entirely their fault, Jesus, I wonder what will happen if things get sour, this is worse than CoVID since it affects transportation which distributes food, and we all know what happens if people get hungry and tired. Let's just hope it won't last a year, or so.

I agree, we should have spent 20 more years negotiating with Iran while the UN confirmed uranium had been enriched well above civilian use.  That’s not being naive, maybe Iran just had a uranium enrichment hobby?

Why not do this with north korea as well? Heard they do have the same hobby? Or are there any other factors?

Lol. NK already has nuclear weapons. 50 to be exact, and with enough materials to make about 100 more. That's a big difference from Iran.

Not sure by your comment if your are saying the war to stop NK has been lost, but there is still time with Iran, or that NK should be the higher priority since they can almost make nukes while Iran is still trying to figure it out.

Yes, it's too late for NK, but it's not too late for Iran. Much like NK, Iran has been secretly developing nuclear weapons for decades despite international agreements against it. And also like NK, they got started in the first place from help from superpowers (Soviet Union and China for NK, and ironically, the US for Iran).

Maybe you don't decide who gets to have nukes.

Gotta pump those numbers up, let’s go for 90% halted this year.

Ukraine made another strike today so that number may already be out of date

200% halted. Most beautiful reduction in history!

Here comes 200+ dollars a barrel and likely won't ever be back under 100.

I wonder if the population has become a little less apathetic about voting in the future.

cool sentiment. How do you put that into practice in a FPTP voting system?

cool, so vague allusions to revolution and purges, and no actual groundwork strategy on how to get disparate ideologies and social groups in the lower classes to actually have a shared vision without repression- nor how to actually GET a new voting system.

sometimes when I read this shit I'm not sure if it's astroturfing or legitimately stupid people, lol. Like concerted efforts from troll farms to sow seeds of apathy when anyone discusses the potentials of real change

But that is left vs. right, as least economically. I agree that the social and cultural stuff has been very useful to wealthy interests who seek to confuse the issue.

Did the popular vote suddenly decide the President or is it still merely a suggestion to those in power who actually have a say?

dustmanrocks Mar 26, 2026 +5
90 million people didn't vote. While I agree that the electoral college in the US is absolutely stupid, I have no idea how 90 million chose to sit on their ass while Trump was on the ballot. Regardless of what you believe, that is a problem. That, and the 39% of your population that is absolutely f****** brain-dead.

Right. Last time we got off our ass on the world’s behalf we caught your continents Nazism. Come take it back please

Stavvystav Mar 26, 2026 -1
I agree it's a problem but with how it's set up it really feels like it doesn't matter how someone votes. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going out there and voting and working to become more educated on everything daily. I'd love for America to largely wake up and realize what the f***'s going on and that it cannot continue.

The only people who know the real number is the Russian government. This is just a guess.
2
MagicalTrianglez Mar 26, 2026 +1
Just as well oil trades for Russia near enough double what it did a month ago!
1
Tjbergen Mar 26, 2026 +1
So the US is giving Russia sanctions relief to aid itself and the EU and Ukraine is acting against that?
