My friends and I had a sleep over a few months back at one of their apartments and we're all in our late 20s/early 30s. None of us are married yet or have kids, so we do what we want.
The answer is there's never an age where you can't have fun. 😉

I refuse to stop. I’m 42 and my friend came over last weekend just to join me for dinner. We drank until 4am talking, eating cheese, and laughing in my bed watching stand up comedy until we fell asleep. We are grown professional women with kids but sometimes you just gotta have a sleep over with your homegirl

This girl I know has been sleeping over almost every night for the last 30 years. Starting to wonder if she might have caught feelings.

I feel like after college. If you drink it can go on your entire life.
Did recently converse about having a platonic sleep over though lol moreso I dont like getting wasted in public and being taken home.

There might be a worthwhile distinction between "sleepover" proper and merely sleeping over at someone else's house, but I found the latter actually picked up considerably as a teenager with a car. Now you had the ability to get yourself there and back without your parent's help.
Also once alcohol got involved around 16-17, lots of sleeping over happened out of necessity (can't drive, or you passed out). Add trying to score with the opposite sex, there's another factor to pull you towards late nights that end in sleeping over too.

All of my close friends live in other cities so it'd be weird for us *not* to sleep over when we hang out lol

I’m 30 and I’ve never stopped having sleepovers. I love when my gfs spend the night or I spend the night at their house. My best friend’s husband already knows when I’m in town that he’s kicked into the spare bedroom.

We've shared mountain cabins and taken road trip with other families, kids and all, which amount to sleepovers. Never stop!

I’m a man in my late 20s and still occasionally sleep over at friend’s places. I always jokingly say that we’re having a slumber party. In reality, it is always because I’m too drunk to drive. If I’m not drinking or only have had a couple drinks I always drive home.

I don’t think you ever really stop having sleepovers as an adult. I mean we usually end up with one of the drunk friends or family members sleeping in one of the guest rooms after a night out or a house gathering.

I guess you don't.
Roommates? Sleepover.
Long term relationship? Sleepover.
Nursing homes? Sleepover.

Great question. I stopped at about 15ish, 16ish. But I don’t think there should be a cutoff!

Usually if you’re single you can have sleepovers forever!!
If someone needs to sleep it off after you throw a party/ barbecue.
Even when I was married people still slept over for mostly drinking reasons. I stayed at a friends house after we went to a show downtown and her house was really close. Wife got super jealous after I told her about it. She was out of town for work. I told her about it bc there was nothing to hide.
Learned my lesson for real. Stop being so honest! Jk

I'm a 31 year old father. I have sleepovers still, usually hosting a large friend group (like 6ish people at a time).

My group of friends (all adult females with careers and families) had a sleepover for a friend’s 37th birthday. We wore PJs, had snacks, watched TV, and talked all night long. No alcohol was involved. I also vacation and do weekend getaways with the same group. So, never really.

All of my sleepovers were just lies that myself & my friends told to each others parents in hs
We would then go out to parties, clubs & bars in other cities

In the late 1900's. Sleepovers aren't considered safe for children anymore.

Now that we understand that children who are victims of SA most commonly have it happen in their own home by family members, parents stopped letting their kids do sleepovers. That's something I don't want to risk my children experiencing.

I’m 51. My friends all live in different towns. We get together, tie one on, call an uber, and have sleepovers. When your best friend of 30 some years wants to get together, that’s what you do.

I’m 46 and had x2 friends sleep over the other weekend when my husband and child were out of town. We are all mothers etc.
We had such a chill relaxing time together. Quality time and not just a dinner or coffee

for real, i feel like sleepovers start dying out in high school once everyone gets their own car and some freedom. after that, it’s all about late-night hangs instead of crashing at each other’s places.

El concepto de pijamas son reuniones de amigos en la casa de alguien para pasar la noche, técnicamente aún pasa eso en las reuniones como un ejemplo, salida de solteros, pero si es de infancia, creo que hasta los 18 años
