Don't forget that the original choice here was Matt Gaetz, if you want to pick an AG that will cover for pedophilia he's definitely your guy so maybe they'll just go back to nominating him.

Duane_ Apr 2, 2026 +2205
The problem is that Bondi definitely has the larger f****** cover up wingspan. She was AG Florida for eight years, and during her tenure she refused to prosecute Epstein, or assist with out of state attempts at the same. Epstein was arrested less than six months after she left Florida, and the AG at the time cooperated with SDNY to prosecute.

Let's not forget the $25k donation from the Trump Foundation for her re-election and then her dropping Florida from the lawsuit against Trump University.

That’s the one that gets me the most. The most blatant case of pay for play I’ve ever seen and it was just ignored. On top of that, it told Trump everything he needed to know about Bondi and where her allegiances lie.

ChefCurryYumYum Apr 2, 2026 +249
That's the worst part, just how c**** our elected officials turn out to be. There is an old NOFX song with the lyric "America's for sale, and you can get a good deal on it, and make a healthy profit."

I saw this performed when I was backstage at Punk in Drublic after never hearing it before and all I could focus on was the drummer keeping his phone on one of the drums :-/

Song that holds up more today than when it was written, other than that line about weed in Michigan. Stay home, be safe.

Damn I was not expecting a NOFX reference this morning, but I respect the hell out of it. 🤘

Or maybe tear it apart. Start with assumption that a million people are smart, smarter than one.

T-nawtical Apr 2, 2026 +12
It's part of why I genuinely don't believe that they're just doing this for the money, there is a part of them that genuinely believes in this. Like, I can't imagine if Al Gore or someone would go up to Pam Bondi and say "I'll give you $5,000,000 to prosecute Trump University to the fullest" that she would actually take that and go through with it.

Every single one of these corruption cases was Republicans testing the fences. And each time, they learned that if you just do it, even if it's out in the open, nothing bad happens. They got away with it again and again and again. That's why we're at a point where a guy is literally caught on tape by the FBI accepting a bag of money like a cartoon villain and has yet to even be questioned about it.
79
Anleme Apr 2, 2026 +22
The FBI had a corruption sting operation that convicted seven members of Congress. This ended in the early 80s. There seems to be an unspoken agreement to halt this kind of FBI operation now. I think there should be more of these. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abscam

futureNOW_ Apr 2, 2026 +12
Didn't Mike Johnson say all this stuff was ok BECAUSE Trump was doing it out in the open and being "transparent" about it. What terrible people.
12
pontiacfirebird92 Apr 2, 2026 +44
It was ignored because Florida's government is captured by foreign assets and religious zealots, like Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. I can verify Mississippi is captured by foreign assets because one of the largest lobbying firms here, the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, is run by Douglas Carswell of Brexit fame. What is a British politician doing lobbying in Mississippi? Florida is likely Russian operated, but I don't have much proof besides circumstance.
44
JohnGillnitz Apr 2, 2026 +10
The same thing happened in a lot of places. Greg Abbott let it happen in Texas when he was State AG. A $4 million judgement went away for the low cost of a $35K campaign contribution.
10
Prometheus_303 Apr 2, 2026 +9
>The most blatant case of pay for play I’ve ever seen and it was just ignored Remember how the Court ruled the Billions Jared got from the Saudis couldn't possibly be a bribe because they didn't pay it until *after* Trump randomly without any other reason opted to flip and treat them as our best buddy rather than an advisarial nation.... This "donation" came in *before*, so .... Does that mean it was a bribe? Or is this a "Trump is a stable genius and would have known it would look like a bribe but did it anyway so obviously it's not a bribe!" Or is this a Johnson exception... Where the Speaker said it's OK that Trump commits lots of illegal things because he does his crimes out in the open without trying to hide his crimeing?

$25k that we KNOW of.

phatelectribe Apr 2, 2026 +90
You missed a few massive points there: Bondi was AG when her underling was specifically instructed to give Epstein the crazy sweetheart deal of just 13 months in a country club, day release facility where he could travel on weekends if needed. Acosta got a cabinet position for doing that but the deal was eventually ruled illegal. Bondi was also Florida AG when she oversaw the Trump university complaints, and Trump gave her an illegal donation to make sure no criminal investigation took place (despite Trump later settling the civil case for full asking price of $35m just hours before he was due to stand trial). The scandal got so bad, Trump was forced to close his charity but no charges were ever brought against him and Bondi was rewarded with the AG position.

Duane_ Apr 2, 2026 +33
I've talked all of it to tears. I ought to start a f****** blog; everything from Paolo Zampolli trafficking Melania, to Epstein buying up Southern Air Transport's assets after the CIA closed it, using Les Wexner and Leon Black as financial backing. Bondi isn't worth talking about in comparison, and she's a f****** monster.
33
UnquestionabIe Apr 2, 2026 +7
That's the most depressing part to the Trump regime and the preceding era; there are always worse people involved just not in the spotlight. I've always been a bit cynical about our country but the way things have gotten over the last year has really made me reflect on my feelings about it. The bullshit I was fed growing up doesn't even get paid lip service anymore, with mostly being told the best we can hope for is a slightly slower overall decline in quality of life. I'm in my early 40s and on my third or fourth "once in a generation crisis" that is bulldozing my life. I don't know if I have the energy to restart yet again. That the core cause of all these issues can be placed at the feet of subhuman scum like Bondi and those of her ilk infuriates me to no end.
7
Snackskazam Apr 2, 2026 +196
She also famously dropped the state prosecution against Trump University after Trump donated $25k to her campaign.

Gaetz was just as loyal. Massie and Khana would still force the release. Somewhere in a parallel universe, it’s dropped Gaetz had relations with a 15-16 year old girl and mishandled the Epstein files. God, the shitshow would be hilarious
47
BigPapaJava Apr 2, 2026 +47
Unrelated, but I found it hilarious to discover Gaetz has now pivoted to being a UFO truther now that he needs a new grift since his political career is dead and buried He’s doing the podcast circuit and conventions to tell us aliens are real and he got proof (which he cannot substantiate in any way) when he served in Congress.
47
cenosillicaphobiac Apr 2, 2026 +18
He was "briefed" on UFO's while in Congress. I suspect it went something like this. Gaetz: "Aliens are among us, right?" Everyone: "no dummy, no Aliens on our planet that we know of" Briefed!
18
RandoDude124 Apr 2, 2026 +16
Ah, joining the “It’s Aliens!” Dude at cons.

We may still get our shitshow. I'm just waiting for everyone to get their teeth into Paulo Zampolli, the sex trafficker who got Melania her visa, and had his wife deported to get custody of his kids.

Trump couldn’t get Gaetz through when he was at the peak of his political power. Trump in April 2026 is significantly weaker than Trump in January 2025.
117
BarbarianDwight Apr 2, 2026 +40
That didn’t hurt Markwayne Mullin much.
40
JoviAMP Apr 2, 2026 +32
I don’t like Mullin, but unless I missed something in what’s become a gishgallopocracy, I also haven’t heard of any allegations against him like we’ve seen against Gaetz.
32
blaqsupaman Apr 2, 2026 +29
I'll admit, at first I thought Gaetz not getting in was a good sign that most of Trump's insanely unqualified nominees wouldn't get in (Hegseth, RFK Jr., etc.). In hindsight, I remember one GOP Senator being asked if he thought Gaetz wouldn't get approved by the Senate because of his allegations, and his response was, "No, I don't think he'll get approved because he's an a****** and nobody in the House or Senate in either party likes him." Now I really don't think his qualifications or even the allegations against him had anything to do with it. He's just such an unlikeable prick that even the other ghouls in the GOP can't stand him on a personal level.
29
mlorusso4 Apr 2, 2026 +47
Ya mullin is just a roid rage idiot. Gaetz is a pedophile and conman

I really don’t think even GOP would approve Matt Gaetz. I hope it doesn’t come to that. Which lawyers does Trump 1) know personally, 2) trust, and 3) know and trust to also be a pedophile?

He wants Lee Zeldin, who is far worse of a sycophant. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/01/us/politics/trump-pam-bondi-future.html EDIT: According to Associated Press, Todd Blanche is now the interim Attorney General https://apnews.com/article/trump-bondi-zeldin-justice-department-4b1bf39326d2d2c3fd41cadff91dd75b

I'm surprised the files came out at all. I thought she'd be stonewalling for four years straight.

10
CD338 Apr 2, 2026 +28
In Trump's eyes, you have to be able to sacrifice your life to be in his circle. He wanted her to completely ignore the very bill he signed into law (the Epstein Transparency Act) and face criminal charges for doing so. The fact that she will probably be investigated later on because of all lies under oath and whatever else she tried to cover up, and that she's going to be losing her job and trust with Trump, is just pure schadenfreude.
28
hypercosm_dot_net Apr 2, 2026 +13
They line up for it too! It's f****** crazy how it keeps happening. Like, you see this guy surrounded by people who end up with criminal convictions, and they must think "no way that could happen to me". They are so blindly arrogant. You would almost have sympathy for them if they weren't so atrocious.

32
rainshowers_5_peace Apr 2, 2026 +27
Lee Zeldin once fought to protect the Long Island sound which makes him one of the only cabinet members to have done something in line with the mission of his department and for the good of humanity. If he has the balls to tell Trump "an indictment would be impossible" he'll be out in a few mooches. I have no idea why he's getting rid of Bondi, she's done everything he has requested.
27
SomeCountryFriedBS Apr 2, 2026 +16
>I have no idea why he's getting rid of Bondi, she's done everything he has requested. First Noem, now Bondi and possibly Leavitt. Following the pattern? Tulsi or Wiles is probably next.

TweakedNipple Apr 2, 2026 +15
Zeldin would be bad because from what I've seen he's at least competent. Aren't there any podcasters available?
15
Uilamin Apr 2, 2026 +19
> Zeldin would be bad because from what I've seen he's at least competent. Competence might be bad for Trump here. An issue with being competence is taking the time to ensure things are done right instead of just doing things. Trump's strategy (and really Project 2025) seems to be just do things and do things fast - overwhelm and then deal with it. That is much harder to do if you are limiting yourself to doing things properly (especially in the legal world where many I's need dotting, and T's need a crossing)
19
OSRSlayer Apr 2, 2026 +6
Also someone who has a semblance of competence will realize "Oh f***, I may face repercussions of my actions some day"
6
PluginAlong Apr 2, 2026 +7
I think you're only assuming competency, not competency and malice. Many tied closely with project 2025 have been very competent at accomplishing what they're trying to do, it's just that what they're trying to do isn't what's right for the country. Look at what Russ Vought has been able to dismantle. He's far from incompetent, but also 10,000% a******.
7
Federal_Drummer7105 Apr 2, 2026 +63
Yes - and they’re even incompetent and keep f****** things up. Look at how many prosecutions they haven’t even been able to get off the ground. Bondi leaving is a celebration. And if the next guy is worse remember that also means more incompetent - and keep fighting. Resist.

It’s gonna be Lee Zeldin who’s currently EPA administrator and who has low key been one of the most destructive forces in government. He literally overturned the science that climate change is a threat to humanity. What he’s done to the environment and to the EPA’s ability to preserve it is an abomination and he’s flown completely under the radar given how much awful comes out of this administration.

This is always what gets me about any of the army of sycophants this grifter seems to inspire. Even when you do everything he wants, he still tosses you away like a bored child with a toy when he's done playing with you. Is it the greed of power that calls to these people, that even for a moment they can have what they want even when they know he'll drop them like a bad habit? Or is it a deluded thought of "I'm not like them, I'm loyal, he sees that I'm different," that makes them stick around? Either way, I have no sympathy. I just hope that for some of them that there will be actual consequences to their actions, but I won't hold my breath.

Well, being close to the one man that routinely manipulates stock markets has its upside, despite what an insufferable dickhead they have to ‘tolerate’.
116
squeakycleaned Apr 2, 2026 +55
My thoughts exactly. Last year, as a singular example, we saw Trump invest millions into a contractor nobody had ever heard of. 3 months later, they get a Pentagon contract, and their stock shot up 900%. If you gave me a single guaranteed insider tip like that and I put my full savings behind it, I could retire. I’m not morally bankrupt enough to cover up a pedophile ring in order to gain that, but clearly these people have no qualms with it.
55
RevLoveJoy Apr 2, 2026 +24
Sad fact of life I have learned the hard way a couple times: almost everyone has a price. People you judge good based on lots of evidence? They have a price. People I admire? Got a price. People with years of public service? Still have a price. And if you're already working in conservative circles? There are tens of thousands of "normal jobs" in politics worked by normal people not expecting life altering drama. But along comes a con man who is just *getting away with it* left and right. Market manipulation plain as they eye can see. Grift and nepotism and the rules just don't seem to apply. All you gotta do is get on the inside and bet it all **once** and hope the shit from all those swine doesn't splatter ALL over you. And now you have a price. And I have a price. And we tell ourselves, "yeah, but I'm not like them" but we would be, wouldn't we? "My whole family could retire in style if I just dip my toe in once." goes a long way to explain why there don't seem to be any consequences. For anyone.
24
squeakycleaned Apr 2, 2026 +27
I can say with my whole heart and mind that, if offered the deal “You multiply your life savings by 20, but you have to publicly stop a global ring of pedophiles from being brought to justice”, I would say no. I agree with the sentiment that people have a price for MOST things, but not every person has a price for every thing. Some things too much for some, but not for others. These people are the extreme.
27
RedditTrespasser Apr 2, 2026 +12
I would *pay* my life savings to see Trump and co face the music and America return to normalcy. Of course, I don’t particularly have a lot in my life savings, but the sentiment stands.
12
riverbanks1986 Apr 2, 2026 +4
I agree, I don’t have a price that would make me sacrifice my moral code. I’m already tested daily; I perform a service for people that relies on trust. I could easily exploit that trust for profit, and many people in my industry do, but I choose not to. I want to sleep at night. I’m not wealthy, but I can afford a comfortable life for my family with relative financial security, and I know that I earned every penny of it through blood and sweat, providing a legitimate service that people actually need. My daughter thinks I’m a good person, and her view of me makes me want to try my hardest to live up to it. I couldn’t do the vile shit these fiends do and then look her in the eyes, not for all the money in the world.

littlebighuman Apr 2, 2026 +44
To a lot of people it is clear a man like Trump doesn't care about anyone. He hasn't done a selfless thing in his life, he has never helped anyone unless he benefited from it. He would not help someone who is sick, he would not lend a hand when someone tripped and fell. He would not give money to a kids hospital. He would not pickup a puppy from the road to prevent it from being run over. He wouldn't console a crying child, an injured veteran, help poor people, etc. . He does not give a f*** about anyone then himself. I really think he doesn't give a shit about his family either, beyond making him look good. Intuitively a lot of people get this. But a lot of people just don't get it at all.
44
Resistiane Apr 2, 2026 +16
His supporters, including Pam Bondi see that as a sign of strength though. They love it, because giving a shit about other people is woke.
16
pontiacfirebird92 Apr 2, 2026 +22
Didn't Noem get a cushy high paying job with a bullshit agency when she was ousted? Doesn't sound like they're being discarded. They're moving around pedos and grifters like the Catholic church does priests and police departments do bad cops.
22
Tomotronics Apr 2, 2026 +13
I think it’s far more simple. Check their bank accounts. They’re getting in on the grift and milking it until they get tossed. I bet you can make a lot of unethical cash in Trump’s wake of corruption.

You have to wonder how none of them saw how he treated his first cabinet. He'll he's prosecuting his National Security Advisor from his first term, and has been incredibly hostile to many others. Did they think the leopard would never eat *their* face?
8
Ok_Subject1265 Apr 2, 2026 +191
I would say Trumps biggest problem with Bondi is she operated from a position of “there may be law and order again one day so I better not do anything like perjure myself because it could come back to bite me in the ass.” He wants someone who recognizes Trump as the ultimate legal authority and who believes that there will never be a post Trump future so doing ANYTHING he wants is totally acceptable. He’s not mad at how she released the files. He’s mad that she released them at all instead of telling congress to simply eat shit.

7
Ok_Subject1265 Apr 2, 2026 +8
She was always incredibly careful to skirt the law without actually breaking it. Or to ignore it as long as she could before the consequences started and then suddenly backtrack. She definitely wasn’t a great legal mind or anything, but she understood the law enough to be able to use it to enrich herself and avoid consequences à la Lionel Hutz or Saul Goodman.
8
Oleg101 Apr 2, 2026 +63
Yeah and I think the h******* maga base isn’t satisfied with her, they think “All of Trump’s enemies should be in prison by now”
63
we_are_sex_bobomb Apr 2, 2026 +16
They want to blame her that the evidence literally does not exist to convict Trump’s political enemies. The next AG might be even more of a sycophant but they will still have the exact same insurmountable problem. Their job will be to hide the massive amounts of evidence that Donald Trump is a pedophile, while somehow conjuring up compelling evidence that innocent public servants who are only doing their jobs were actually committing heinous malicious crimes. And they will have to figure out how to do all of this without committing perjury.

21
Plzlaw4me Apr 2, 2026 +19
That’s the most fascinating part. At its core, the president’s role is really about finding the right people for the right job. Obviously they needs to steer policy and the nation, but that is entirely contingent on having a good cabinet of qualified people. Every time he disavows a cabinet member or senior advisor he is admitting that he fucked up that part of his job. He won’t think of it that way, and neither will his base, but history will remember it that way.
19
Manderspls Apr 2, 2026 +17
He only picked her because she was his PERSONAL attorney. Easier to convince her to keep her mouth shut. Which, anyone correct me if I am wrong please, is illegal to put her in the position she is in now and makes her wildly and legally unqualified.

She was essential to the original Epstein coverup in FL. I think that's the main reason he hired her.

By "disastrous" its the fact they were released at all in any capacity  Thats all he is pissed about
1271
blaqsupaman Apr 2, 2026 +340
I have to admit as much as it's obvious they tried to cover up, the stuff they did release was surprisingly damning. Like I feel it's enough that anyone sane and with any common sense whatsoever who read it would come to the conclusion "Yeah Trump 100% raped kids."
340
blues111 Apr 2, 2026 +176
If what little they released was damning, imagine whats in the millions of files they refused to release And they made it seem like there was 2-5 million more documents to comply with the law congress passed
176
Ghoill Apr 2, 2026 +42
From what I've heard and just the general implication of what was released... They have videos. Actual videos of the crimes that happened and those are what is being held back especially. For obvious reasons, The fact that they can't be reliably doctored, that written files and reports are easier to dismiss... Ai hasn't reached anywhere near the capacity to obfuscate *that*. That's what they're so scared of, it's one thing for there to be reports and descriptions but imagine how damning it would be to for videos confirming them to be released. It makes me sick just to think about it.
42
RyvenZ Apr 2, 2026 +18
Even some of the unredacted photos that slipped by and had to be pulled, blacked out, and re-uploaded sound horrific, but somehow the men in those photos other than Epstein never seem to get identified.

I think the whole order of events is along the lines of, they campaign on releasing the files, and it's because they know what's in there, and it contains "useful" characters like Clinton. Release it in a very limited capacity with a few clever redactions, release some tiny quantity of pages that are just enough to keep the spotlight on Epstein and their intended enemies. But then, for whatever reason it happened, the Estate released the birthday book, quickly showing there's more then they're telling us. This knocked the wheel chocks out from under the train car which started rolling backwards. "Uh so we should release more??" Suddenly caught with a law mandating it, and now public knowledge they haven't even come close. Eventually someone managed to grab a brake handle. It's sure not where they want to be, but they've sort of stemmed the flow for now. However, can't un-ring the bell now, so much that we now all know, whatever comes of it in the end. But I'm pretty sure they *never* meant for us to know even as much as we do now.

asianApostate Apr 2, 2026 +42
This shouldn't distract from the fact that Bondi still protected most Republican members and Donald Trump.  Remember we found that even words that were similar to his name like "don't" were redacted.  By and large she's successfully covered up almost everything related to Republican's and Trump in the Epstein files.  They somehow tried to implicate Clinton though they had no real evidence just anecdotal items and random pictures.  They also went after Democratic donors like Bill Gates.  He's still had it coming for what he did even if the girls were not underage.   Again they largely redacted anyone related to the GOP.

Never say never "John Newton Mitchell (September 15, 1913 – November 9, 1988) was the 67th attorney general of the United States under President Richard Nixon. He also was chairman of Nixon's 1968 and 1972 presidential campaigns. Prior to that, he had been a municipal bond lawyer and one of Nixon's associates.[1] Mitchell was tried and convicted as a result of his involvement in the Watergate scandal." President may have immunity but his cronies dont, justice is still possible

Everyone in his cabinet is falling one by one. I expect him to fire many more people before the year is up. I also expect at least 2 more to quit. This administration is symbolic to the state of our country right now - chaotic… and it’s all occurring because of him.
413
stevenmoreso Apr 2, 2026 +140
Post midterms is when presidents really make big personnel changes. This one’s going to be a bloodbath
140
TheRealestQueenn Apr 2, 2026 +62
Absolutely, and I don’t want to see any of them on CNN, FOX, or ABC later, doing interviews about their experiences or trying to sell a book. They knew exactly what they were signing up for when they accepted those roles and chose to stay. And I believe the economy is heading toward a point where things could get significantly worse, so much so that even the stock market, which is already struggling, won’t be able to mask what’s really happening. I also think the situation with Iran will escalate in a serious way, particularly for our soldiers (with 8,500 already deployed there and Iran saying they will be set on fire and America will experience mass mourning), to the point where news networks won’t be able to avoid reporting the full reality of what’s going on with them. All of that to say: I think things could become so severe that members of his cabinet won’t even have the same opportunities to profit or capitalize on their positions after the administration like his first cabinet members were able to.
62
egyto Apr 2, 2026 +23
Things are going sideways really fast. At this rate by the midterms there's a new great depression.
23
TheRealestQueenn Apr 2, 2026 +16
Really fast.. At this point, who knows what’s going to happen with the midterms. I feel like this is the first administration where you genuinely don’t know what’s going to happen day by day in this country. We wake up and see we’re in a war (without congress’s knowledge or approval might I add). We wake up and the price of oil has increased (and continues to). We wake up and see an American citizen has been killed by ICE. We wake up and see another countries president has been captured. Like.. At this point, I just feel like we’re all collectively waking up curious to see what’s going to happen and how it impacts us.. And I personally find that to be very unsettling. So, who knows what’s going to happen by the midterms. It’s just a mess.
16
Sad_Locksmith_2904 Apr 2, 2026 +47
Yeah, remember his turnover in the first administration? And that cabinet was significantly more competent than this one.
47
TheRealestQueenn Apr 2, 2026 +24
I actually agree. When you compare his first cabinet to this one, the earlier group seemed more stable and a larger number of them were genuinely qualified for their roles. Trump was firing many of them because they weren’t going along to get along. When he first announced his current cabinet picks, a lot of people warned that things would go badly because many of these individuals aren’t qualified, and they were proven right. What we’re seeing now really highlights how important it is to have experienced, capable people in these positions. Without that, things start to unravel, and that’s what we’re seeing across this country. The economy is struggling, the stock market is performing bad, the job market is slowing, tensions with Iran are escalating with over 8,500 troops deployed (I think that’s going to be horrible), and immigration decisions have led to American citizens deaths, detentions, and widespread fear. People shouldn’t feel anxious about everyday places like driving on the streets or going to the airport now that ICE is there. At this point, it’s hard not to look at it all and think what are we doing? It’s a mess.

It's interesting to see where some of these people from the first administration have landed since then. For instance, Hope Hicks succeeded Scaramucci's short tenure as Comms director, and she now works for Megyn Kelly.

This is not about Epstein. This is about Trump's bogus wrongful prosecution lawsuit where he wants 10 billion in damages. It came out this week that she didn't rubber stamp that but instead wanted an independent person involved.
129
Moveyourbloominass Apr 2, 2026 +63
This is what I have been saying since Monday. Her wanting an independent third party was what sealed her fate. When this came out, the very next day Trump started throwing her under the bus. Either Johnson or Thune are next because of their talk of pushing off the suit until January 2029, after Trump is out of office.
63
martapap Apr 2, 2026 +41
It is funny this 10 billion dollar theft from the Treasury was even too far for Bondi. I didn't think she would have any morals to stand up to that but it seems like she did. Probably because Trump wasn't going to give her a cut.
41
Moveyourbloominass Apr 2, 2026 +35
I believe it's most likely she has received 100s of correspondences from attorneys, Watchdog groups and the ACLU, outlining her path to jail if she allows this ridiculous suit to move forward. 👀 Too many watching her every move for this attempted heist.
35
donkeyrocket Apr 2, 2026 +16
Realistically speaking for her, what's one more? Allegiance to Trump is the only thing protecting her from current prosecution. None of this makes any sense but I've stopped trying to make sense of this administration since his first term.
16
Man0nTheMoon915 Apr 2, 2026 +58
Her fate was sealed when she had those right-wing influencers come out with heavily redacted binders of these Epstein files as if they had just discovered water.
58
WakingWaldo Apr 2, 2026 +24
Whoever Trump replaces her with is going to face the exact same issue Bondi did -- people want the files released. Even MAGA conservatives have been furious with her handling of the files. I don't know why anyone would possibly think the next guy will be any better unless "better" means more competent and more evil.

Donald Trump, who rapes children, put her in place for 1 reason- to cover up the fact that Donald Trump is a child rapist. The problem is we all knew Donald Trump rapes children. And she accidentally showed evidence of Donald Trump being a child rapist. Which makes sense since Donald Trump has indeed raped children. So now that The child rapist, Donald Trump, can't pretend to hide the fact that he, Donald Trump, rapes children, he has no more use for her. Did I mention that Donald Trump rapes children yet? And that the GOP supports him/it? I feel I can't really put too fine a point on that one.
8
Glittering_Stress_32 Apr 2, 2026 +6
There was some cabinet meeting or press conference or whatever about a year ago, where Bondi was about to say something about the Epstein files and Trump immediately shushed her. So it's abundantly clear that he's the one pulling her strings. So, as much as I look forward to seeing her fall flat on her face, it still deflects attention away from Trump.
