Donold and his GOP enablers created this debacle.    Undoubtedly they profited handsomely. Your sons and daughters will fight their war

Interestingly, Australia was among the first countries to support the war. And they still do!

In a weird way they probably support it because they’d rather this occur right now in “peacetime” (if the guaranteed result was regime change which isn’t looking likely) than during a literal global war/crisis where it would be catastrophic.

[They don't actually support it](https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2026/mar/25/guardian-essential-poll-only-a-quarter-of-australians-approve-of-us-israel-war-on-iran). (btw I didn't downvote you.)

Australia meaning the entity/government. Australians meaning the citizenry is totally different. Often the ruling class deciding to go to war/supporting a war against the lower class interests has been basically status quo throughout history.

Maybe Minns can give his brown paper bags back to the office realestate moguls and stop forcing workers to arbitrarily commute into an office. Seems like encouraging WFH again has the benefit of reducing needless spending on fuel and freeing up supplies for those who legitimately can't work from home. Perhaps the Business Council can lobby against their previous lobbying efforts to get some sensible changes this time.
