A small relief to the families of the two policeman he killed when they tried to serve a warrant relating to CSA. To be on the run for that long he must have had help, hopefully they are also held accountable.

And for the international community... During covid he had some crazy things to say. And all the news stations gave him airtime because it helped create controversy. That fed his views, radicalising him further and I have no doubt contributed to him spiralling. Now two police officers a dead, multiple families (including his) are traumatised but NewsCorpse and other media agencies got some really got views that helped deliver shareholder value.

I love these kind of brain dead takes: it’s one of the things that makes me feel better about myself. I’m just so thankful that I’m not so devoid of critical thinking skills that I’m able to see that situations can be nuanced and contexts can shift. Wait...Violence against police is good? Wake up. He got what he deserved. Hopefully those cookers protecting him for all that time get to spend the next few years waiting in line for their meals and having communal showers.
