The blockade is the permanent leverage. Before they’d have to keep making new, more escalatory threats. Now they simply say “blockade on/ blockade off” to manipulate markets.

CNN reporting that Vance is staying in DC for now and there's uncertainty as to whether Iran will be attending either.
