>The proposed settlement was revealed in filings in Manhattan federal court on Monday, the same day that billionaire financier Leon Black was originally scheduled to be deposed in the case. Terms were not disclosed.
As bad as this is, and it is very bad, I have to wonder what is going on **right now** that has a similar hallmark to the Epstein case. Who's doing this same shit now? What's being deliberately ignored? Who's being protected?

Banks also paid fines related to moving money for drug cartels. I'm sure some of that is still going on

Joyce Vance is reporting that Leon Black's deposition is being pushed back, and likely cancelled. The investigations into Epstein's drug trafficking and money laundering are being covered up by the Trump Administration harder than the pedophilia. FOLLOW THE MONEY!

I mean, we know BofA did not perform enough KYC (know your customer) work on any Epstein account.

Americans gotta start boycotting these banks and business that facilitated this and what world can you pay a settlement to escape child sex crime and live out your life in leisure while regular Americans who served in the military have to fight their wars because they are being blackmailed by said people and dont care about the long term consequences of young people many who many of which have jobs and still can't afford a car how are we in another forever war when I remember reading about in the 1920s that ever american that has a job also has a car.

There should be more penalty than “hey, just give us 30% of what you made off the crimes you were financing with no real time frame for payment and we’ll call it even”

Your president is one of the pedophiles and it's because of his temper tantrums that people are dying.

It seems like the perfect plot for what's going on right now and how i can make sense of the world; I have friends that I served with in Iran risking their life their family livelihood all because trump refuses to release all of the epstien files let the system fall my friends shouldnt have to die for these old rich pedophiles. Just like the survivors shouldn't have had to deal with what ever bull c*** they had to deal with.

It really is enlightening on the topic of pedos and some of what happens behind the curtain since the team interviews/investigates survivors, their lawyers, a psychologist, etc. Kinda incredible how it can layer in all this information while still being a really good story. I know the Oscar's are more or less bullshit but this one was deserving of all the ones it won in my opinion.
It's so grotesque the risk people like you are being put through right now for virtually no reason at all. I was in grade school when the Iraq war started so I really missed the surreal horrors that come with war. Like the moment casualties stop being names and start being tally marks. The West Wing is also pretty good for being informative/giving varying points of view, but in the later season when they're in an iraq-inspired war, when they suffer their first casualty, one of the characters emphasizes not referring to them as 'the first' because it casually implies you're anticipating more. I guess the one bright side to the sick to our stomachs/burning rage we're feeling about this shit is that it means we aren't numb. "The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference"
