Anderson is such a vocal animal rights activist (she's a spokesperson for PETA) that if a news story came out about her doing something like this I wouldn't be to shocked.

I wouldn't be surprised if she expressed support for her former castmate (well, unless they had a bad working relationship, but I don't know anything about that).

Isn't Anderson a vegan? Helping animals is attractive.

Clickbait, because nobody cares about the actual person named in story

How dare you! I care. Even though the only reason I know her name is because I confuse it with Adrian Paul from Highlander.

"Actress Alexandra Paul, best known for her role as Lt. Stephanie Holden on “Baywatch,” was arrested in Wisconsin on Sunday.
Paul was allegedly caught on camera participating in an animal rights sting to free beagles from controversial Blue Mounds breeding facility Ridglan Farms, according to a news release obtained by [Page Six.](https://pagesix.com/2026/03/17/celebrity-news/baywatch-actress-arrested-again-for-freeing-beagles-during-animal-rights-protest/)
Paul, 62, and 50-60 other activists allegedly “broke into the facility and began removing numerous dogs” from the farm, which is one of only two large dog breeders in the country that conduct scientific research on dogs, the outlet reported.
Two vehicles, along with burglary tools and other evidence, were seized at the scene, according to Page Six.
Local law enforcement told the outlet that some beagles were “recovered and returned” to Ridglan Farms, while other dogs “remain unaccounted for.”
Paul was arrested with around 19 others.
Authorities said in the release that everyone involved was “cooperative and respectful.”
“The Dane County Sheriff’s Office understands how deeply people feel for the beagles at Ridglan Farms, and we respect their right to express that passion through peaceful protests,” Sheriff Kalvin Barrett told Page Six.
“Our role is to keep everyone safe and to respond when unlawful activity takes place. We encourage anyone with concerns about animal welfare or research practices to engage through lawful and constructive avenues.”
Following an animal welfare investigation, the Ridglan Farms facility will surrender its Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATC) breeding license by July 1, according to the release...."

Investigation findings result in farm losing breeding license but the dogs have been returned?
I understand that the officials need to stick to procedure but this shouldn’t be it.

That was honestly a well written public statement by the local police. I read it as “listen we know these beagle scientists suck but we gotta enforce blatant lawbreaking. Maybe you can gum up their works another way? Please?”

There is no other way though. I'm conflicted about this, breeders (especially for testing on dogs) should be illegal.
When law seems to put dogs at the same level of office chairs it doesn't give much leeway to help those animals.
They get fined, lose the licence but keep dogs to treat them as they please. It's gross.

True. Doesn’t make it right to kill and torture another just because we benefit. Especially as animal tests are being replaced with more accurate higher tech alternatives based on human physiology not rodent or dog or rabbit biology. Other animals have a right to live just as we do.

They should also ban the import of dogs. The United States imports about 1 million dogs each year, we euthanize about $1 million in shelters each year
