Why though? It can’t be that pricey to make and they’re just going to replace it either reruns of bargain hunt or that wordle based quiz show?

Hiring a studio is one of the most expensive parts of making a tv show.
Add to that it’s a show that goes out of date almost as soon as it airs (no iPlayer audience).
Finally, podcasts occupy almost exactly the same space as Football Focus and there’s dozens of popular ones out there right now.
It’s a shame that it’s going but I’ve not tuned in regularly for about 20 years. Presumably its audience is dwindling and it’s hard to see what would turn it around.
