None of these statements mean anything. What else are they going to say? "Well, nothing is gonna happen... I'm just here for the catered lunch." If anyone on the US aligned side says anything other than a deal being close they'll be on the receiving end of a late night Truth Social post threatening them with tariffs.

Ah yea, the "deal" on a cease-fire that was breached by both parties multiple times in just 2 days, after the previous "deal". Can we go back to the blockades blockading the previous blockades which were blockading blockades? At least that was somewhat silly. Now it's just getting stupid.

Will this be like the EU deal on tariffs? Or more like the Canadian deal? Remind me again, when has this administration EVER honored a 'deal'?

I too would seek a deal if it meant I didn't have to meet Vance

You can tell the probability is high because of all the positive things that have been happening, right? Right?!

When i need to know about the peace talks between Iran and the USA, my first choice is Pakistan....but if they arent available to pump the markets....err speak on it...Qatar is the source for me.

Feels like everyone is trying to keep the door open for negotiations while the situation on the ground keeps pulling things in the opposite direction

If the deal is with the regime, no matter how weakened they are, it makes them stronger. I really hoped the foolishness of this endeavor it would somehow improve the lives of oppressed Iranians but that doesn't seem a priority for trump and co.
