I haven't purchased ice cream for a long while (like everyone, the food budget is tight) but I think I'll pick up some Ben and Jerry's. Love those guys.

I agree, but note that it's owned by Unilever and these guys neither have operational control, nor are they on the board IIRC

As a treat, I think I’ll have some Cherry Garcia this evening.

They still get the credit for creating it.

Absolutely. Just clarifying that insofar as the purchase was in any way to support the founders, it's a megacorp that is actually no benefiting. I, for one, still enjoy the product and buy it from time to time and am not proposing that anybody avoids doing so.

Not that it really matters but B&J probably still hold stock so they would actually benefit from the company doing well. Also, it probably would make them happy to see more people eating 'their' ice cream.

So, when you check out OPs post history you'll realize he posts almost exclusively about Ben & Jerry's. ... which is really weird. Is it a bot? A temp in the BJ marketing team? An icecream superfan? On a sidenote, I hate dailybeast so much

If the Daily Beast is gonna keep doing headlines like this, can they at least find some new f****** adjectives? With how often Trump is “humiliated,” you’d think something has actually changed.

Should they go back to 'slammed'? 'Meltdown' is getting popular.

I see any variation of the word humiliate and I instantly know it's a Daily Beast clickbait headline.
