Best and heartfelt queer movies?

Posted by PrettyTheory3566

Heyo y’all, I’m looking for some really good queer movies that are really sweet and heartfelt. I love to watch movies, I just never really see a whole lot queer romance movies and with heated rivalry out, I was wondering if there were any movies with the same amount of yearning, angst with fluff and the couple just depending on each other? Good plot, good couple, angst but a happy ending please. Please let me know if you know any movies of what I’m asking for and I’d greatly appreciate it. Please and thank you and I hope everyone has a great day or night😁

I really liked I Love You Phillip Morris. It's a funny sad love story with Jim Carey and Ewan McGregor.

I remember Pricilla, Queen of the Desert as being rather heartfelt, but it has been a really long time since I’ve seen it. Fire Island was supposed to be a gay retelling of Pride and Prejudice. So, as with Austin, guaranteed happy ending.

But I’m a cheerleader. “Lame” in the sense it’s older but it’s what made Natasha Lyonne in my opinion

Check out Stephen Frears' **My Beautiful Laundrette** --featuring Daniel Day-Lewis. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/my_beautiful_laundrette Also from Frears, I'll recommend **Prick Up Your Ears**, starring Gary Oldman as the gay playwright Joe Orton. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/prick_up_your_ears

Note that most of the commenters didn't read your post, only the title. A lot of these movies don't have happy endings.
