>“\[Trump\] is getting a little bored with Iran,” the official said. “Not that he regrets it or something — he’s just bored and wants to move on.” Peak Trump. None of you little people matter, he's bored, move on.

this is also why people shouldn't be allowed to have more than a billion dollars, or even that. people this rich and powerful don't sit around say "how can i make the world a better place with my money?" they say "i want more money and more power and i want people to worship me so imma just buy washington post and twitter and paramount and wb and tiktok and the presidency... and what do you know? i have all of this and I'M STILL BORED. maybe i'll just nuke a country for shits and giggles" i'm so disgusted that our country can't be 99% united against the rich and powerful dickheads that run it.
192
witchofpain Mar 27, 2026 +95
I’m convinced that boredom among these rich fucks is why Epstein was so successful. When they are handed literally everything they want, it becomes harder and harder to be excited about something.
95
Humble-Aprico Mar 28, 2026 +32
A lot of people do drugs out of boredom, I'd have to assume if you're rich enough to buy a private island you start doing fucked up shit out of boredom pretty quickly. "Should we go ride jet ski's again or eat a dolphin?" pretty sure the phrase 'idle hands are the devil's workshop' relates.
32
DolphinVaginaFister Mar 28, 2026 +2
Eat a dolphin? 🤔
2
TeutonJon78 Mar 28, 2026 +13
I think that's a fairly normally believed thing. Backed by psychology. Our brain and dopamine centers crave novelty. And when you can buy whatever you want, whenever you want, the only left to scratch that itch is taboo stuff that you can use said money to get away with but normals can't.
13
Sure_Recording_8471 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I will never understand this about rich people. You cannot buy being a great artist, you cannot buy being a great athlete, you cannot buy watching all 1000 episodes of One Piece. You cannot buy being skilled at an instrument, you cannot buy completing a single player video game, you cannot buy reading a 10 book series. You cannot buy so many things in life that can entertain you, or make you feel good that you accomplished something. Why the f*** can’t these people just be happy with having unlimited resources to goods and services, and then spending their time at a canvas, learning how to create art, or even in front of a TV watching all of the classic movies? I I can never find the time for all of the things that I am passionate about and give me excitement, and the monetary investment into any of them is so minimal.
1
burritosandbooze Mar 28, 2026 +1
My theory is that we definitely would f*** off and go be rich and paint, volunteer, vacation, etc. if we and most people were fortunate enough to accumulate several million. You have to be an insane/evil person to achieve one percent status and continue pursuing multiples beyond that. And not even multiples but exponentials.
1
AaronPK123 Mar 28, 2026 +1
One percent is like 10-20 million net worth. You’re thinking of the 0.01 percent.
1
PortugalPilgrim88 Mar 28, 2026 +1
They don’t just want to be content or even happy. They want to be gluttonous and powerful and do things that normal people could never dream of.
1
purpleduckduckgoose Mar 28, 2026 +1
That's all normie shit though. Getting a bottlenose dolphin to be whipped to death while you're served slices of baby flesh cooked in the tears of virgins...that is exclusive.
1
Sir_HimboDilf Mar 28, 2026 +1
Yup, this is exactly what it is. When you're so rich and powerful you can have literally anything, you start wanting the things you aren't supposed to have, and do the things you aren't supposed to do. Someone with a private jet, a couple mansions, a mega yacht, and a dozen lamborghinis will eventually get bored of being on top of the world. They become desensitized to it. They will do anything to feel excitement for something new. That's where epstein and the others like him that are probably still out there come in. They offer experiences you can't have under normal circumstances.
1
rowrbazzle75 Mar 28, 2026 +1
And so when guys like Peter Thiel finally do get some version of immortality through cryogenics or whatever, then they'll have to get more and more extreme thrills just to keep from getting bored. Wonder just how depraved the Epstein class will be at that point?
1
Photomancer Mar 28, 2026 +1
I've played so many ttrpgs where immortal vampires and fey live so long that they engage in increasingly intricate debauchery or plots just to experience something novel, just to feel something again. Starting to think rich people were their blueprint.
1
DaraParsavand Mar 27, 2026 +11
I would say no one is allowed to have more than $50 million in a personal account, but if they run a business brilliantly and acquire a lot more than that, they can keep it in a separate business account allowing them to expand, try another business, etc., without having to go through the stock market, which has its own set of problems. So there should be business money and personal money and a limit for how much you can move from the business side to the personal side by paying yourself a salary. Clamp down on opulent expenditures like massive yachts and mansions but allow successful businesses to keep going forward. And of course no political contributions allowed from the business side and personal contributions capped at something like a few hundred dollars per person.
11
Available-Trouble648 Mar 28, 2026 +18
I like what some countries do which is make it a law that the CEO can’t make more than 50 times the wage of the lowest paid employee. So if you want to make more money you have to pay your employees more. It’s one good way to defend against widening wealth disparity.

Because it’s an enormous, gigantic clusterfuck, nothing of the regime collapse they were anticipating happened and now they don’t know WTF to do, and Israel has started another war in Lebanon that the attack on Iran gave cover for. It was probably the Israeli plan all along that US would be stuck fighting a forever war against Iran so they could be free to occupy and annex Southern Lebanon, clearing out the population there. And now Trump’s administration is struggling to figure out what to do next, they have no plan and are making things up as they go.
10
Freefall_J Mar 28, 2026 +6
> Because it’s an enormous, gigantic clusterfuck, nothing of the regime collapse they were anticipating happened and now they don’t know WTF to do This reminds me of Russia's invasion when it started that first month in 2022. Apparently, Putin/the Kremlin thought the government would collapse fast and Zelensky would flee so they could take the country in days. And now here we are in 2026 and it's still going.

9
pgm_01 Mar 27, 2026 +322
This was expected. Trump doesn't see the humanity of others and uses other people as tools, usually just to enrich himself or to give himself pleasure. The war was a shiny new toy, it was always going to be discarded, but when it became messier and more problematic than he expected (because he didn't listen to experts) he decided he was done with it faster. He does not and can not care about anybody who is not him. This is why you don't make a narcissistic sociopath your leader.

How about reading it without a voice? "See this pen right here? This pen is an interesting example. It’s the same thing. So, this pen is very inexpensive but it writes well. I like it. But I can’t have the pen the way it was. You know what it is. I don’t want to give too much publicity, but they do treat me well. Sharpie. So I came here. They have thousand dollar pens. And you know, you hand pens out. You’re signing and you’re handing them out. You’re handing them to all these people. Sometimes you have 30, 40 people. And they were $1,000 a piece. Beautiful pen. Ballpoint. Thousand. It was gold, silver, gorgeous. But I’m handing out to kids that don’t even know what they are. ‘What is this, mommy?’ It’s kids. They’re getting a pen for $1,000. They have no idea what it is. And I feel guilty because I’m like, you know, I’m by nature. I don’t, you know, it’s the government. I love the government. Like, I love myself economically. I want to save money. So, I’m saying, ‘This is crazy.’ And it had another problem. They didn’t write well. So I take it out and I sign and there’s no ink and I got all you people looking and you’re saying, ‘There must be something wrong with Trump.’ And I’m signing and there’s no ink in the pen and it cost $1,000. This one, I called the guy. I said, ‘I’d like to use your pen, but I can’t have a gray thing with a big S on it.’ Same sharpie. As I’m signing a a trillion dollar airplane contract to buy brand new fighter jets, brand new B2 bombers of which we just ordered plenty. I can’t do that with the press. Use your pen, but I like the pen the best, but I’ll sign it. I could do like Biden did, you know, give it to somebody else to sign or an auto pen or maybe sign it separately in another room, but I can’t use your pen. He said, ‘Well, I can make it nicer.’ Said, ‘What can you do?’ He said, ‘I’ll paint it black.’ I said, ‘That’s nice.’ ‘And I could even paint the White House on it, sir, if you like. In gold.’ Almost real gold. Not bad. ‘And I can even do your signature, sir.’ And by the way, this was not staged. I just saw the pens in there and I thought of this as an example of how $25 million spent by me at the Federal Reserve building would be a better job than $4 billion that they’re spending...." "...So I told that story to somebody who said, ‘Yeah, but I mean, but it’s not the same thing.’ And I said, ‘You’re right. This one is better. It writes.’ So the guy said to me, ‘You don’t have to pay me, sir. I’ll give them to you for nothing.’ I said, ‘No, I don’t want that. Let me pay you. I want to pay you.’ ‘No, sir. You don’t have to. You’re the president of the United States.’ He was shocked. The head of Sharpie gets a call. I don’t even know who the hell he is. He said, ‘Is this really the president?’ He said, ‘No, you don’t have to pay me, sir. This is such an honor.’ I said, ‘Nope, I want to pay you.’ He said, ‘What would you like to pay?’ I said, ‘How about five bucks a pen?’ They said, he said, ‘That’s all right.’ Whatever the hell we agreed to, peanuts as opposed to a thousand. And these were thousand dollar pens and we were giving them out sometimes, you know, you were there for signings. I’d have 30, 40 people standing behind me. I’d give out 40 pens to people. Then somebody would say, ‘Could I have a couple extra?’ This way I go like this. ‘You want five? Here, take five.’ But the bottom line is they’re better pens. It’s a business story. So for $5, could be zero, but for $5 I get a much better pen than for $1,000 and I could hand them out and actually they become hot as a pistol. So what can I tell you?"

It’s the usual bullshit like it was with Russia going into Ukraine: the U.S. thought bombing Iran would be a quick, 3-day war with them begging them to stop and caving into whatever demands they had. Well … there’s a reason former Presidents have thought twice about doing it, even if Netanyahu got in their ear. It’s not a winnable war in any short timeframe. Iran will dig in and make the U.S. and Israel pay for their arrogance, and so will the rest of the world with the energy crisis it causes. Not that any MAGA supporter gives a shit as all they do is watch Fox News all day. This is why Obama’s Iran Nuclear deal (JCPOA) was good - sanctions relief in exchange for limiting Iran’s nuclear program - and hashed out through *diplomacy*, but of course it’s something which Trump hated as it didn’t have his name on it. He is a pathetic man-child that shouldn’t be anywhere near the levers of power. But Republicans just sit there and let him continue to damage the U.S. reputation beyond repair. Your mid terms suddenly seem like they are a long way off, and even if you manage to reign in this lawless administration you’ll never regain the trust of the rest of the world.

The engineers of this chaos are THRILLED with your outrage at trump's daily antics. This orange clown is merely a sideshow.  He's ignorant and souless.  He's a bonafide 5051. Worse, he's a smokescreen - propped up to distract us from the politicians and oligarchs profiting from the fall of democracy. We need to stop focusing on this nutcase and start pushing back on the despicable Republicans and corporations that enable this shitshow. How? There are a few ways. I am only acquainted with the 5051 movement and I show up at NO KINGS protests (tomorrow in your city btw). Bottom line: Become part of an organized group that supports protests and/or puts strategic pressure on corporations that support Trump. Social, moral, and economic resistance works when it causes powerful people to withdraw their support of trump because their continued support has become too expensive and unsustainable.

If only Iran was his own teenage daughter. He’d be more excited

A large portion of america decided a big narcissistic baby is their ideal image of a “man”
1

Put Baron in a uniform and ship him to the Mideast and trump will be bored no longer.
5
michelle032499 Mar 27, 2026 +6
You're giving what's his face way too much credit as a dad
6
-eYe- Mar 27, 2026 +2
Donald doesn't give a shit about his own family unless they make him money, or make him look good. Barron in a uniform marching to battle would win him votes, so Barron had better watch out.
2
Ugh-screen-name Mar 27, 2026 +2
Trump has the attention span of a three year old
2
palmerama Mar 27, 2026 +2
Like a toddler picking up and smashing a toy to bits then moving on to another (Cuba).
2
Intel-Source Mar 27, 2026 +2
Disgusted is the correct term.
2
sugarlessdeathbear Mar 27, 2026 +2
At this point I wouldn't blame a foreign nation for any potential actions they might take against us or POTUS. Trump kicked in the door, shit on the meal, and declares he won and is now bored.
2
rvretiredlife Mar 27, 2026 +2
Trump feels it in his bones to move on to another war - Cuba
2
Cavane42 Mar 27, 2026 +2
If ever there was an indicator of unfitness to be Commander in Chief, this has gotta be it.
2
GoodishCoder Mar 27, 2026 +2
Is this surprising? It's already been revealed that people pushing the war have been showing him highlight reels of explosions to make it fun for him. He can't handle security briefings without pictures and hearing his name a bunch. He can't even make it through a speech on task.
2
Individual-Bench-634 Mar 27, 2026 +2
Love when the president treats the world as his personal play thing. Can we not? For once?
2
arwinda Mar 27, 2026 +2
he will pull out and leave it to others to fix the mess he left behind...
2
Count_Backwards Mar 27, 2026 +2
If only his father had pulled out and left his mess on Mary Anne's behind
2
anewleaf1234 Mar 27, 2026 +2
If only Iran was a 14 year old girl or his daughter.
2
beavis617 Mar 27, 2026 +2
He wants to take on Cuba which should take about an hour with no casualties. Then onward and upward to Greenland then finally Canada by Christmas.
2

What a child. Dementia does that to you.
2
Interesting-Cow8131 Mar 28, 2026 +2
So are we taking bets on what he'll break next or what toy he wants to steal?
2

Mind you a war that has already cost American sons
2
Mercadi Mar 28, 2026 +2
As soon as something goes not according to his wishes (for the lack of any plan), he becomes "bored"
2
Slumunistmanifisto Mar 28, 2026 +2
We'll bring up him raping children again and he'll bomb cuba next....
2
HaiKarate Mar 28, 2026 +2
That’s called dementia.
2
cytherian Mar 28, 2026 +2
Attention span of a flea... Unless it's about grifting opportunities.

This was just the Epsteinth time he tried to distract us….
1
challah505 Mar 28, 2026 +1
That rat fucked a****** is bored of it all? All the slaughter and destruction is simply not amusing enough? This country is a literal shit show.
1
Logician22 Mar 28, 2026 +1
We need someone responsible to be running the government not an irresponsible toddler
1
Strange-Bottle-9791 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Send his ass in diapers. That way he can be protected and dodge bullets like he normally does!
1
jibberwockie Mar 28, 2026 +1
Didn't he just send a bunch of his toy soldiers over there?
1
DaGrinz Mar 28, 2026 +1
Yeah, it‘s all about entertaining the orange baby. That‘s the true nature of his presidency.
1
darkknight4114 Mar 28, 2026 +1
If only he'd get bored of the presidency.
1
johnnybsomething Mar 27, 2026 +3
Oh good, let's talk about the trump /EPSTEIN FILES instead.
3
DefinitelyNotEmu Mar 27, 2026 +4
OK let's return our focus to the Epstein Files
4
some_mad_bugger Mar 27, 2026 +1
I imagine the members of families who have lost someone to this administration's feckless policies would love to share some choice complaints as well...I also imagine that scene playing out somewhat like the end of V for Vendetta, and I sigh 😮‍💨
1
UBC145 Mar 27, 2026 +1
This would be hilarious if it hadn’t resulted in massive regional war killing thousands of civilians all over something between a highly speculative theory and outright lie.
1
Revolutionary-Swan77 Mar 27, 2026 +1
With all the adderall he does you’d think his attention span would be better.
1
nasorrty346tfrgser Mar 27, 2026 +1
That's why I felt we would be going to Cuba next month. It would be a quick win, and also a short boost for him
1
TragicallyDip Mar 27, 2026 +1
Maybe if they dressed the same war up in a catholic school girl outfit, the pedo-pres might get interested again?
1
Count_Backwards Mar 27, 2026 +1
Cue an invasion of Cuba or Greenland to get an "easy win" and get the Tangerine Toddler's attention again
1
witchofpain Mar 27, 2026 +1
JFC. Starts a major war and now is “bored”. I know it’s been said a billion times but f*** this orange POS.
1

I’m borrrred. Someone give me an award or something or I’ll start an another war!
1

hey remember when he said to a reporter "are you still talking about jeffrey epstein" next up why are you still talking about the war?
1

It’s like if Augustus Gloop took over the chocolate factory.
1

“I don't get bored. There's nothing boring about this,”
1
Unintendo Mar 27, 2026 +1
"Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy's been talked about for years. Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable." - Donald Trump, July 8, 2025 (right after Bondi finished the review of the Epstein files) Dude is convinced that he can just blah away issues he can't resolve.
1
NerdimusSupreme Mar 28, 2026 +1
JD needs to 25, so we can actually recover
1
OldRancidSoups Mar 28, 2026 +1
The world is bored of Trump and maga. Can we move on from them?
1
marfacza Mar 28, 2026 +1
he can't stay focused for 10 more days?
1
Lhamo55 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Ok. Send him the bill for every dollar spent on his little amusement, and continue billing him for the damages done throughout the region. And how about reimbursing the people for the increase in fuel and other necessities. Finally there’s no dollar value that can be placed on the lives lost or catastrophically impacted but hold him personally accountable in The Hague.
1
Hesychios Mar 28, 2026 +1
Of course he’s bored. He has the mind of a toddler, a spoiled brat with a short attention span. He can make impulsive Il-considered decisions that cost others their lives, terrify millions and ruin economies yet a few weeks later want to play some other game. He is tired and bored of the Iran game, he wants to get on with playing ’Cuba’.
1
Chemical-Fault-7331 Mar 28, 2026 +1
If people as despicable as Trump can be elected to the nations highest office, is there really a God? Most likely not.
1
NotThatAngel Mar 28, 2026 +1
Trump gets bored with his wives and cheats on them. Trump got bored with his casinos and let them go bankrupt. Trump got bored paying his independent contractors and stiffed them. Trump got bored. Actually trying to provide any value to anyone in any of his business endeavors, and just took the money and did nothing. Nothing. He's a man of words- mostly lies- not action.
1
Bronzeshadow Mar 28, 2026 +1
The strait for Hormuz is going to be closed for the foreseeable future. We've undone decades of talks with Iran and caused Billions to suffer and for what? To entertain a toddler and grift the market. To stroke a handful of egos? We are all going to spend our lives undoing this.
1
MarcheMuldDerevi Mar 28, 2026 +1
This is kind of laughable. He started the war because Netanyahu/Putin have the pics. And because it now looks like it’ll be a challenge and is hurting him politically as opposed to the country gathering around him. He’s just gonna get up and leave
1
Beginning-Pace-1426 Mar 28, 2026 +1
This man's ridiculous whims can alter an entire generation of a nation's history.
1
cursetea Mar 28, 2026 +1
Bored. He's *bored* with the war he started and people will still cheer for him
1
sigaven Mar 28, 2026 +1
Imagine, just imagine if Biden said this.
1
Beginning-Falcon865 Mar 28, 2026 +1
This is actually good. That might mean the war might end soon.
1
Savvage-Cabbage Mar 28, 2026 +1
He’s like a f****** baby
1
digihippie Mar 28, 2026 +1
Back to the child r*** accountability.
1
superliver1211 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Bored because he’s being outsmarted, which has been proven to not be that difficult
1
homebrew_1 Mar 28, 2026 +1
He will still find time to golf.
1
Doctor_Shotbottom Mar 28, 2026 +1
The president has ADHD. It’s pretty obvious.
1
indigopedal Mar 28, 2026 +1
I fear this goon is going to destroy the world.
1
Jedi_Ninja Mar 28, 2026 +1
He probably wants what he thinks would be the easier target of Cuba. Although his people will probably try and talk him into waiting until just before the mid-terms so they can use it as an excuse to declare martial law and possibly try to prevent the election or at the very least interfere by by having a military presence at the polling stations.
1
cinnyc Mar 28, 2026 +1
My lord. These are people’s lives. What an imbecile. Narcissistic pos.
1
transfixedtruth Mar 28, 2026 +1
All of this to distract us from his Be Bestie Jeffrey Epstein. Let's see those EPSTEIN files. And, what's going on with the zorro ranch investigation?
1
vinvega23 Mar 28, 2026 +1
So declare victory and GTFO already.
1
reddit_understoodit Mar 28, 2026 +1
Tell him he won it so it can be over
1
l3tigre Mar 28, 2026 +1
the man is evil and full of nothing but selfishness, hate and dementia. idk why we have to dig any deeper than that. at best he's a sociopath at worst he's been tasked to take down the us on the behest of some enemy -- maybe the only thing he's ever done well.
1
Thin-Discipline1673 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Maybe Mohammed Bonesaw Salman will take care of the problem after shitler doesn't fulfill the bribe deal he's been paid for.
1

I also hate when a war i started intrudes on my golf game or interrupts a McDonalds lunch.
