At some point they start being complicit, idk if it’s after the r*** stuff, or the war, or the second war, or the second rapes, but at some point they should have seen who he is
1
Hidden_Land_Mine_183 Mar 29, 2026 +1
No, it really isn't. It would be sad if they weren't trying to punch down and cut off anyone beneath them just like MAGA is doing to them. That's the thing you have to understand, none of this is born out of genuine, good intentions.

They do not believe that people of colour are equal to them. And what some of his non-white supporters don’t understand is it means all people of colour, not just black people. That and fear is what is driving them. I grew up in Apartheid, the reasons are still the same it was back then in South Africa.
1

Remember when Trump said he did more for black people than any other American president, including Lincoln? Every word out of his mouth is a lie.

Yep, same for all those people from latin american countries bringing their terrible conservative views that already cause problems in their own country into their votes here as well. Conservatism simply is incompatible with a prosperous, safe and happy society, same with religion.

A lot of older people of color really hate trans people and thought because the GOP also hates trans people they'd be aligned.
1

1
TheElusiveEllie Mar 29, 2026 +1
I have a sneaking suspicion the staff blocked them not because Trump told them not to but because if they were there he'd ask why there's n\*\*\*\**s at the event and they wouldn't be able to hide it. He's so racist and demented that they know he wouldn't be able to stop himself, so they blocked them before he even said anything about it. That, or he was the one to block it, both are likely and in both cases he's just a horrible racist
1
Val_Hallen Mar 29, 2026 +1
I cannot believe that minorities are asking questions likes this still. Really? You really don't know? Has the last, oh, *entirety* of conservative policies in American history not clued you into the reasons why? **You** may think you're "one of the good ones" but you need to come to realization many others have come to long, long ago. They don't think *any* of you are "good ones". You serve a purpose, but in the end tokens will get spent. Ka-ching, bitches. You've been spent.

Of course EVERYTHING Trump is doing or not doing is pissing me off!! Snippet: * President Donald Trump welcomed hundreds of farmers to the White House on Friday, in what the administration touted as a celebration of agriculture and American farm producers. On the South Lawn, **decorated** with a massive, obviously **Trump-inspired gold tractor**, the president hailed the event as the “single largest gathering of American farmers that the White House has ever seen.” * Noticeably missing from the crowd of farmers at the White House were the nation’s Black farmers, who have been repeatedly shut out of meetings and dialogue with the Trump administration, which has simultaneously eliminated several programs intended to address decades-long disparities impacting marginalized farmers at a time when many are facing foreclosures amid continued high costs in farm production, mortgages, and property taxes. >**“I certainly asked to be a part of it,” says John Boyd**, founder and president of the National Black Farmers Association, which represents tens of thousands of Black farmers. * *The longtime activist and farmer, who has repeatedly tried to advocate on behalf of Black farmers with the Department of Agriculture and the White House, tells theGrio he has heard “nothing from this administration.”* * “For them not to invite us, they’re really saying, ‘We don’t want you to be a part of this administration at all,'” says Boyd, who told theGrio that a White House official had previously told him that the administration was “doing away” with farmers of color and DEI. The official told Boyd that farmers being prioritized “happen to be white,” emphasizing, “This is not about race.” * *Upon learning about the farmers’ event, Boyd reached out to a Trump official at the White House Office of Public Liaison; however, Boyd’s inquiry to join the event went unanswered. A spokesperson for the White House did not immediately respond to theGrio’s request for comment.*

Could you imagine getting crushed as a farmer right now, then you get invited to the white house only to find that trump is touting a gold tractor? It's like he's spitting in your face lmao the irony is off the charts Seriously, what the f*** do people keep supporting this guy for? It's like him talking about saving money buying cheaper pens...while speaking right in front of his brand new golden decorations he covered the White House in. OppressedCow6148 Mar 29, 2026 +1
I’m in WI, so I can only speak to my personal experience. A lot of small to medium size farmers are on the wealthier side, at least they were. They get a lot of subsidies which allows them to squirrel away a lot of cash. One of my old bosses was retired farmer and he owned a bar in his retirement. He only kept cash. And a lot of his farmer friends were the same way. Tens of thousands of dollars in cash on hand at all times and living in $500,000 homes on over 5+ acres. My point being, I think younger generations of farmers who weren’t allowed to abuse the previous subsidies are feeling it big time. But the older generations (boomers, mostly) are clueless because they already reaped the benefits. They probably love the optics of the golden tractor because they feel like they finally made it. Then when they got rid of DEI policies, we actually had white farmers in WI suing the federal government for their cut of grants they gave to black farmers. The white farmers claimed they got the subsidies because of their race and that isn’t fair, so now the white people should get those subsidies too.. you just can’t make this shit up.
1
OrionsBra Mar 29, 2026 +1
And the white farmers who notice this going down will have no problem continuing to support Trump and holding zero solidarity with non-white farmers....

11
PedanticPaladin Mar 29, 2026 +1
From the October 2017 article in The Atlantic called "The First White President": >It is insufficient to state the obvious of Donald Trump: that he is a white man who would not be president were it not for this fact. With one immediate exception, Trump’s predecessors made their way to high office through the passive power of whiteness—that bloody heirloom which cannot ensure mastery of all events but can conjure a tailwind for most of them. Land theft and human plunder cleared the grounds for Trump’s forefathers and barred others from it. Once upon the field, these men became soldiers, statesmen, and scholars; held court in Paris; presided at Princeton; advanced into the Wilderness and then into the White House. Their individual triumphs made this exclusive party seem above America’s founding sins, and it was forgotten that the former was in fact bound to the latter, that all their victories had transpired on cleared grounds. No such elegant detachment can be attributed to Donald Trump—a president who, more than any other, has made the awful inheritance explicit. link: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2017/10/the-first-white-president-ta-nehisi-coates/537909/

Considering responses made to black farmers or any farmer not white, this little bit should answer any doubts you have about where Hitler IIIs mind set is at, 'The official told Boyd that farmers being prioritized “happen to be white,” emphasizing, “This is not about race.”'. That statement in any language is bs.
13
Maximum_Tip_1441 Mar 29, 2026 +12
Black farmers were again shut out of meetings and dialogue with the Trump administration and several programs were eliminated which were intended to address decades-long disparities impacting marginalized farmers at a time when many are facing foreclosures amid continued high costs in farm production, mortgages, and property taxes.  The message is that farmers being prioritized “happen to be white”.  John Boyd, founder and president of the National Black Farmers Association which represents tens of thousands of Black farmers, told theGrio that a White House official had previously told him that the administration was “doing away” with farmers of color and DEI. \_ Sounds racist to me.
12
Unfair-Ocelot4255 Mar 29, 2026 +10
I have heard John Boyd interviewed many times and his work on behalf of Black farmers is so admirable. It just makes me sick that this Administration is so undeniably racist. Policies of injustice will continue until they are kicked out.

Silent-Resort-3076 Mar 29, 2026 +3
And, "kick them out" we must do!!
3
burntendsdeeznutz Mar 29, 2026 +1
Its because they are black. This isnt hard to understand. These people are racist. Do I need to say it louder for the people in the back? When they pass some subsidies bill for farmers 2 weeks before midterms 15 states will forget* about this. *by forget, I mean they never cared as long as they got theirs. Also, black farmers will be the last on the crony welfare subsidies list to receive it and then somehow also blamed for the corruption of capitalism, no matter if they ever receive any aid at all.
1
postmodlawprof Mar 29, 2026 +8
The shutting out of the black farmers and the recent denial of promotions of the black officers with the report that trump doesn’t want to be next to black officers is further evidence that trump and his administration are racist. Of course this will be denied by his sycophants who themselves are racist POS!
8

Who would have thought that a guy whose father supported the KKK, who discriminated against black tenants in his property, who called for the execution of innocent black boys, who read the speeches of Hitler before going to bed at night, who famously complained about the Obamas residing in the White House and made up lies about the presidents citizenship—who could possibly think Trump was a racist?

1
PedanticPaladin Mar 29, 2026 +1
Historically black farmers have been locked out of a lot of government help because they were black. A side effect of this is that they learn to live within their means and not go into debt. [This video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khBFd7PKbds) is of a black lady farmer talking to her father, also a farmer, about why black farmers weren't complaining the way white farmers were when Trump was putting the hammer to farms last year with his tariffs and comes with a pretty good history lesson.
1
GhostDoggoes Mar 29, 2026 +1
Reminds me of the time that black teens were escorted out of his rally at their own campus. So he doesn't give a shit about anyone but white people. He's done this numerous times. He's been kicking out black people out of their own events because he feels scared that someone will speak out to him. He thinks anyone that isn't white will heckle him.

Absolutely horrible!! :( And, after everything they have endured, I just LOVE this part:) 💪 * *Now they’re working with lawmakers to push for legislation and are* ***thinking of running for office.*** >"Courtney “CW” and Nicole Mallery believed they had moved to greener pastures after being displaced by a hurricane. >They moved to Yoder, Colorado, an unincorporated town where they could nurture their animals and grow food on their 1,000-acre ranch. What the married couple say they’ve encountered, however, nearly cost them their lives. >**They faced being doxxed and surveilled,** *as well as vandalism, and discovered their animals dead on their property. Guns were pointed at them. They were even charged with felony stalking, petty theft, and tampering with a meter, but the charges were later dropped by prosecutors."* * *At the center of it all, they say, were their white neighbors and deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, who they alleged were complicit in the discrimination they faced. The sheriff’s office has denied the allegations. The Mallerys believed it was part of an effort to take their land. The sheriff’s office did not respond to Capital B’s request for comment.*

Good question. As a long time civil rights activist I'm sure he's completely clueless and has no idea whatsoever. That has to be it.

Wondering how many voted for the racist asshat?
1

Well considering that 80% of Black men and 92% of Black women voted for Kamala Harris, probably a very small amount.

So there's no OG Jewish bloodline in Israel, and they look white *now*... 🤔 Is there any correlation? Jesus wasn't white. Ethiopia has the most complete Bible in existence... And the Jewish keepers of this Bible aren't white....

Are farmers really this dumb that they don't realize trump/maga genuinely don't care about them beyond getting their initial votes? Maybe I take my education and common sense for granted considering how many of these people end up being surprised when the obvious happens.

It's getting to a point where being White and Anglo will be prerequisites for any kind of government support in Trump's America. Kash Patel's relegation must be due any day now.

It never ceases to blow my mind how many non-white and non-straight people support trump and his admin despite overwhelming evidence that the trump admin despises those people. I just don't get it.

They did not vote for this, literally > [The National Black Farmers Association (NBFA) today announced its endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States.](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/national-black-farmers-president-john-boyd-endorses-kamala-harris-for-president-citing-her-commitment-to-agriculture-and-justice-302283107.html) >[Supporting the Trump-Vance ticket was now “off the table,” Boyd said in response to Vance’s remarks. Though he called Vice President Kamala Harris a “breath of fresh air,” Boyd called on Harris to commit support to Black farmers before the election—specifically, through debt relief for Black farmers.](https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2024/08/black-farmers-jd-vance/)
