One of Bolsonaro sons, Flavio, is a candidate for president on this year general election happening in October. Trump administration probably will try to influence that election, the same way they did and failed miserably in Hungary.

My guess is that this guy would be of considerable value to the current Brazilian government given they likely still have a ton of criminal activity by the Bolsonaro government to investigate. Not to mention his former level of security clearance.
For that reason, it wouldn't surprise me at this point if the Trump administration tries to extort Brazil for his return.
