Nebraska is amazing. I also believe more people should listen to his album The Ghost of Tom Joad.

It sure is. Tom actually still covers the tune frequently. Did so with Bruce a bunch and did it once with rise Against, Brian Fallon and Wayne Kramer.

I'll have to check out the album. No idea why but I always compared Springsteen to something like Bon Jovi, mom jean rock without every really listening to him.

You’ve basically confused the original with the bland imitation. As if you chose Winger to represent metal or blink 182 for your opinion on the Dead Kennedys.

You don't understand, you see (/s). Our labor class is irrelevant to the economy, irrelevant to the political process, irrelevant to culture, and now, irrelevant to entertainers who 'got sumthin to say!' Our only role left is to get back on the factory floor lest we get pushed off by the robots and into the detention center. Bruce's daughter was an equestrian in the Hamptons for f***'s sake. You can't have a rally for democracy where you get access via Ticketmaster. Springsteen has written a ton of great songs. He just shouldn't fool himself that he's actually doing anything here.

He should probably concentrate on lowering tickets prices since yaa know, he’s promoting a “unity” tour. Nothing unifying about $400+ tickets 🤣
Edit: Don't know why I'm getting downvoted. Guess people are fine paying Bruce $400+ LOL I wasn't commenting politically one way or the other.

And anyone criticizing me will just be call Trump bootlickers
While I ride off with another few hundred million for a sub par performance

Sometimes both sides of these things suck
And in this case that’s true
But downvote me

Yes. The “working man’s” artist. 400 dollars aren’t even the good seats.
What a hypocrite.
Edit.
I’ll change my mind if he donates the proceeds to those impacted by the current administration and sets up a free condensed concert for the protesters, then continue on with the full concert at full price.
I’d be all for it.
Otherwise, he’s just using the poor as inspiration to perform for the rich

Yeah. You get what I’m saying though. Bruce is charging an eye watering amount and none of these bands I gave pictures for claim to be a “working man’s musician”.
His ticket prices use to reflect this. Now this virtue signaling and making statements like the Calvary is coming for the little man that’s being squashed by the government just feel insincere with how much he’s charging. For these seats for Dead and Co. the equivalent is 1000+ a seat.
It isn’t for bringing hope. It’s bringing money in his pocket. I’d say his target audience with these prices are the ones that are trumps target demographic.

And yet people will defend Taylor Swift for having even more expensive tickets because "she doesn't owe anybody anything."
Any performer that allows their tickets prices to be beyond what most can afford should always be called out for it no matter what they supposedly stand for
It's just worse in this case since Bruce here is claiming this tour is for national unity.

Do you know how ticket pricing works? Have you been following the anti-trust suit at all and do you understand what it means?
It's okay if you don't, but you should probably inform yourself on it.

Everyone is upset about the price but I'm just bummed he skipped Denver, SLC, and Vegas. For the mountain west those are the best three options and we went oh-fer. Bummer.
