Good for him. MAGA steals his music all the time for their rallies, social media and commercials. They don't even pay the fee for using without permission. MAGA doesn't have any top tier creative talent of their own so they loot from performers who hate them.

Splashy01 Mar 27, 2026 +2
Not true. They got Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, and Jason Aldean. And maybe Greenwood.
2
ctmets1988 Mar 26, 2026 -29
You do realize he doesnt own his masters or music publishing anymore. He sold it for $500 million to Sony. So he has no say in who uses his music
-29
MAGA_tard Mar 27, 2026 +11
His deal with Sony included limitations on usage. He has been fighting this fight for a long time. Very easy to research this. You are just repeating lies. Please don't fall for them. It's so easy to see that many artists have limitations on usage even when they sell. Especially political artists. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musicians_who_oppose_Donald_Trump%27s_use_of_their_music Like I feel you might not even know that's just a right wing talking point that artists have no control over their work when they sell.

Anyone who knows anything about Bruce Springsteen will know that he is certainly on the side of the Left.
159
SecondToLastOfSheila Mar 26, 2026 +54
Exactly! Who's thinking he's not 100% liberal?
54
amyel26 Mar 26, 2026 +50
Paul Ryan was a RATM fan. Being bad at understanding lyrics may be a fashy trait.
50
sparrow_42 Mar 26, 2026 +24
This is the correct answer. They don’t understand Springsteen, Mellencamp, Lynyrd Skynyrd, RATM, not even Archie Bunker; the list goes on.
24
OK_Computer125 Mar 27, 2026 +4
Wait, Mellencamp? You mean Fortunate Son isn't celebrating the son of a rich guy that got a bone spurs deferment keeping him out of Vietnam? /s
4
jkoutris Mar 27, 2026 +9
That’s John Fogerty.
9
OK_Computer125 Mar 27, 2026 +2
LOL fair
2
NickOulet Mar 27, 2026 +3
If anyone has ever listened to Jackie Brown, then you actually know who John Mellencamp is. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you don’t know.
3
Splashy01 Mar 27, 2026
I don’t know what you’re talking about but I do know Cougar.
0
Ghstfce Mar 27, 2026 +4
WhY iS rAgE aLl ThE sUdDeN PoLiTiCaL?!!!? I've been listening to Rage since 1992. They're still my favorite band to this day. I resist the urge to backhand someone when they say that.
4
RottenPingu1 Mar 26, 2026 +4
Keep On Rocking in the Free World probably the most blatant example.
4
FancyBigFox Mar 27, 2026 +3
That’s Neil Young.
3
PlainJaneGum Mar 26, 2026 +1
“Fashy”? ….. I love you. Stealing this.
1
Hey_Giant_Loser Mar 27, 2026 +1
Anyone who believes that horseshit is a clown. Ryan 100% said that just to enrage the far left. Do you guys seriously not realize this? He is 100% a dude who stood around the keg with his Bros trying to come up with ways to troll. That's absolutely how that came about. I'm sure he came name a single album title or b-side from Rage. Come on, you dums.
1
Thorn_Within Mar 27, 2026 +4
People who don't actually understand Born In the USA.
4
thereverendpuck Mar 26, 2026 +9
I was a teen and I knew this. I don’t get how people don’t.
9
Standardeviation2 Mar 27, 2026 +3
They heard “Born in the USA” but only listened to that lyric and no other lyric in the song or any of his songs.
3
Suza602 Mar 27, 2026 +3
I imagine he’s glad he won’t have any MAGAs at his concerts! I would be!
3
Limo_Wreck77 Mar 26, 2026 +6
Yeah. I'm fairly 100% certain his fanbase share his exact views, otherwise they wouldn't be fans. Dudes got noting to worry about.
6
ctmets1988 Mar 26, 2026 -5
Thats the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. People are fans of bands and artist because the music is good. Some may be fans becauze of the politics but your average fan is because of the music
-5
Count-Bulky Mar 27, 2026 +8
That’s fine, but don’t bristle at being called an idiot because you think Rage Against the Machine or Bruce Springsteen “suddenly became political”. That’s just simple illiteracy.
8
ctmets1988 Mar 27, 2026 -1
Where did I say the suddenly became political?
-1
Count-Bulky Mar 27, 2026 +6
I guess you haven’t been paying attention, but this is exactly what many maga voters have been saying over the past few years, that these artists *”suddenly became political”*. So when you say that fans caring about politics in music is *”the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard”*, you’re either unaware or going out of your way to ignore it.
6
ctmets1988 Mar 27, 2026 -1
"Thats the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. People are fans of bands and artist because the music is good. Some may be fans becauze of the politics but your average fan is because of the music" This is what I said.
-1
Count-Bulky Mar 27, 2026 +3
I agree that’s what you wrote. Baffled that you think there was anything in there worth writing again.
3
ctmets1988 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Im baffled that you seem to think you should only like music that adheres to your political views and not just because its good music
1
soFATZfilm9000 Mar 27, 2026 +3
I know I'm stepping in here from the outside, but I think the point is, as u/Limo_Wreck77 said, "Dude's got nothing to worry about." For most Bruce Springsteen fans, being political and "slamming Trump" is right on brand. Hell, if anything, not doing that could potentially be seen as a betrayal. For those who disagree with him entirely but are fans solely "because the music is good," how would this change anything? Born in the USA was released *forty-two years ago* as a criticism of the United States, and that still gets played at July 4th celebrations when people want to circle-jerk about how awesome America is. I'm pretty sure that 42 years is long enough to understand the song. Which means the people who don't get it actually do get it and don't care "because the music is good", in which case "dude's got nothing to worry about." Either that, or those people are so stupid that they can't understand it after 42 years, in which case, "dude's got nothing to worry about." Point being, even if Springsteen would theoretically be the type of person who might support Trump (what with Springsteen being stupid rich), it'd be kind of hard to publicly switch positions like that when Springsteen's entire brand as a musician for his entire career has basically been as presenting himself as the antithesis of everything that Trump represents. The safest course of action, even solely from a business perspective, is to criticize Trump. Then any Trumpers who "just like the music" will still buy tickets, because that's obviously what's been happening for decades. So why would it change now?
3
TechnologyPale329 Mar 27, 2026 +2
He doesn’t care because he’s worth a billion dollars
2
MattyBeatz Mar 26, 2026 +33
It’s so damn funny to me that people are acting like this hasn’t been Bruce’s vibe forever. Probably the same people that blast “Born In The USA” every 4th of July without the least bit of irony or awareness of what that song means. Next you’re gonna tell me they liked Rage Against The Machine back when they weren’t political.
33
OwnerOfCat Mar 27, 2026 +10
Two of MAGAs favorite anthems… Born In The USA and Fortunate Son lol.
10
QueezyF Mar 27, 2026 +5
Don’t forget Rockin’ in the Free World.
5
CumGoblin67 Mar 27, 2026 +4
Or the YMCA song. Nothing gets my testosterone pumping like blasting the Village People, wearing a red baseball cap, and doing the jerk off dance. SO! GODDAMN! MANLY! 💪
4
RareBid Mar 27, 2026 +5
Exactly lol
5
Realistic-Crew3127 Mar 27, 2026 +2
Ain’t that the truth. Besides the fact that that album is almost a no skip album. I love playing it on Fourth of July for the reminder of how flawed we are as a country. His music does give me hope that maybe one day we can live up to our higher ideas of all men being equal under the law, a free press that holds truth to power, and a culture that aims to lift up the common man, be they the working poor, immigrant, or homeless. I love that Bruce loves his country enough to shine a light on its darker aspects in an effort to motivate change.
2
ArnoldZiffl Mar 26, 2026 +52
He doesn’t care. He made his money and had his day. He’s got nothing to lose.
52
Sixmmxw Mar 27, 2026 +19
He may also gain a new fan or two. I didn’t knew this guy before this whole beef with the mcpedowhitehousewannabeking.
19
no_talent_ass_clown Mar 27, 2026 +1
You didn't know Bruce Springsteen?
1
AdTiny2166 Mar 27, 2026 +1
there is such a thing as “young people” that haven’t gotten around to it. I know, it’s a mindblowing concept.
1
Piney_Wood Mar 26, 2026 +21
Bruce is a patriotic American.
21
InourbtwotamI Mar 26, 2026 +10
That’s why he’s called The Boss!
10
Carrickfergus68 Mar 26, 2026 +11
Bruce is king. Respect to him standing firm on his beliefs. Now would be simply an excellent time for Taylor to come out and say … absolutely anything.
11
RareBid Mar 27, 2026 +8
Loll all the clueless people who don't understand what the lyrics to Born in the USA and what it means...smh. His politics haven't changed ...he's just more open about it now, as you get older you care less about what others think.
8
LittleSodaPop13 Mar 26, 2026 +18
He's also been anti facist, this is nothing new
18
WardenEdgewise Mar 26, 2026 +8
If you’re not being “political” and actively fighting against the Trump administration, you are either evil or bowing down to evil. These are not normal times.
8
drinkduffdry Mar 26, 2026 +1
Boss move
1
Impressive_Box4144 Mar 26, 2026 +8
American patriot and hero, not bad at music either!
8
pequenaandjustice Mar 27, 2026 +7
In other news…. Springsteen has a spine. Too bad many other people’s spines disintegrated.
7
Dorkseid1687 Mar 26, 2026 +7
More people need to do this. Now
7
Killahdanks1 Mar 26, 2026 +5
It’s like doing the right thing is worth it.
5
Wonderful-Pause1048 Mar 26, 2026 +7
On the positive side, MAGA can't seem to get anything done.
7
MightBeDownstairs Mar 26, 2026 +6
Dudes been ANTIFA from the start and dumb maga goons have literally no media literacy

4
BIGoleICEBERG Mar 26, 2026 +4
Remember when he basically let Chris Christie know that he thought he was a dipshit?
4
Piney_Wood Mar 27, 2026 +2
In Jersey getting crosswise with Bruce is the end of your political career.
2
JohnAStark Mar 27, 2026 +3
Now the is THE BOSS!
3
ThinMint31 Mar 26, 2026 +3
He’s already made a fortune, why should he care?!
3
faulternative Mar 26, 2026 +3
Why would he? He's had an outstanding career, he's got plenty of f***-you-money, and his most die hard fans are Union guys anyway, so what does he have to lose?
3
Alone_Bicycle_600 Mar 27, 2026 +3
Stick to your beliefs ...you are an intelligent artist who is loved by many
3
scottymom2019 Mar 27, 2026 +5

2
Outrageous-Dog-2668 Mar 27, 2026 +2
Free concert ? Bruce Springsteen's net worth is estimated to be approximately $1.1 billion to $1.2 billion as of 2024-2025, according to Forbes and Wikipedia.
2
Noisechild Mar 27, 2026 +2
Good! Please make your tickets to your shows under $300 please.
2
logalogalogalog_ Mar 27, 2026 +4
People who think his music isn't political are probably also mad that Rage Against the Machine suddenly "became" political lol.
4
optimalbrain90 Mar 27, 2026 +4
"Bruce is on another level. Credit to him for standing strong in his convictions. Right now would be the perfect moment for Taylor to step forward and just say… literally anything."
4
GoneInterneting Mar 27, 2026 +2
Go on Bruce! Get it! Glad an artist with position is using his power and voice for good. Help bring a tablespoon or better yet, a bucket, or even better still a little tsunami of sanity back to America, please. It’s brutal and toxic out here. Oh yeah, and we can’t afford shit and can barely live. Help. SOS.
2
TuneLinkette Mar 27, 2026 +2
Imagine being an adult in 2026 and only now realizing what Springsteen’s politics are
2
xfactor6972 Mar 27, 2026 +2
F*** yes Bruce and the E street band!
2

It’s not a loss
1

I am not a fan of Bruce. I may well become one now.
1
iwatchyoupee Mar 27, 2026 +1
This the same dude who’s charging like $3000 for a ticket to his latest tour?
1
timmy242 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Bruuce, if you had just took a stand on lower ticket prices. It's easy to relate with you politically, but the fact that you priced out a whole bunch of us GenX poors? Man, it was a real blow.
1
Bizarrebazaars Mar 27, 2026 +1
Thank you, Bruce
1
donquixote2u Mar 27, 2026 +1
Springsteen 2028!
1
BurnerAccount-LOL Mar 27, 2026 +1
I didn’t know people made music for the sheer passion anymore. What a true rock god!!
1
N4RQ Mar 27, 2026 +1
No loss. MAGA already blew all their savings on MAGA hats and Trump bumper stickers.
1
Radiant-Call6505 Mar 27, 2026 +1
The Boss hath spoken!
1
No_Writing_3179 Mar 27, 2026 +1
He's got F you money, he doesn't care. Music is a hobby to him at this point.
1
Dustofthisplanet12 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Tickets were wayyy to expensive. If it’s political, he’s not talking to the Everyman, blue collar worker
1
pouni82 Mar 27, 2026
Isn't he stupid rich and old... Why care now lol
0
WingedWheelGuy Mar 27, 2026
I believe I heard he is, or is very nearly, a billionaire.

3
Intelligent-Clothes6 Mar 27, 2026 -2
nobody wants his opinion.
-2
HammerDownl Mar 27, 2026 -3
Bruce sucks, haven't made a good album since the 80s and is a bleeding lib
-3
Immediate-Debate-860 Mar 27, 2026 -5
Just play your songs monkey, that’s what the sale of the tickets are for. I don’t care about your political views. We do not relate to the same life, even if you play the blue collar persona.
-5
Cheemo83 Mar 27, 2026 -1
Little late boss.
-1
Unlucky_Accountant71 Mar 27, 2026 -6

Unlucky_Accountant71 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Nah he's cringe too
1
CryptoNoob-BRLN Mar 27, 2026 +1
Cringe too? Nah…..you are confusing someone who wrote Born to run with a conservative loser who wrote Cocky.
1
Shonkazilla Mar 27, 2026 -3
Tickets will be unobtainium. Id love to see him but dont have a spare $1000 or more layin around
-3
RollingThunder_CO Mar 27, 2026 +2

2
agartha93 Mar 27, 2026 -1
Ironic isn’t it?
-1
ctmets1988 Mar 26, 2026 -12
Fans dont pay to go to concerts to hear about politics. Just play your music.
-12
faulternative Mar 26, 2026 +15
You do know most of his music is political in nature, right?
15
ctmets1988 Mar 26, 2026 -6
And you do know there's people who dont really care and just enjoy it right?
-6
faulternative Mar 27, 2026 +3
Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a political artist and always has been
3
RareBid Mar 27, 2026 +6
Completely clueless
6
AnewTest Mar 27, 2026 +3
Fans know what they're going into when they go to a concert. Your response is like a Kiss fan going to a concert and complaining that they don't go to their concerts to see men in white face makeup.
3
ctmets1988 Mar 27, 2026
Ive been to Mudvayne concerts when they wore make up and did their hair crazy and then when they didn't do it.
0
mostlygroovy Mar 27, 2026 +3
So adorable
3
TheArmChairFan Mar 26, 2026 -8
How much are the ticket prices at his concert and does he live in a gated community?
-8
GenericDesigns Mar 27, 2026 +5
I saw prices under $100 for the current tour
5
dantevonlocke Mar 27, 2026 +6
And what does that have to do with this?
6
TheArmChairFan Mar 27, 2026 -3
Why separate yourself ?
-3
Piney_Wood Mar 27, 2026 +5
If I was Bruce Springsteen I'd get a strong gate too. There's a whole lot of heavily-armed rightwing psychos out there. You might be one of them.
5
TheArmChairFan Mar 27, 2026 +1
Yep a complete psycho. Not a redditor being hysterical.
1
oregon3 Mar 26, 2026 -13
Bruce is a loser. His politics is about making the most $ possible.
-13
AnewTest Mar 27, 2026 +6
I'm sure the opinion of some rando on Reddit will totally crush him.
