So he’s no longer welcome to the jam?

Everyone is invited to the jam

Well then Cranston should go on and slam.

Bryan Cranston can slam

If the comment is anything other than “praise” or “agreeing with”, it now falls under the category of “taking a shot”, “slams”, “going scorched earth”.

At that point, Cranston wryly interjected, saying Muniz "could have ended up with Shia LaBeouf's life" and leaning forward to let out a long whistle. "Keep that one in," Cranston quipped as Muniz laughed beside him. "Shia, get some help." Honestly, kinda a shot. He's not wrong though and Shia does need help.

Seriously. Seems pretty genuine to me.

Shea shoots dogs to get into character. Definitely needs more than an offering of help.

Because it was said in a shitty way. Watch the video.

If Shia was only hurting himself then sure but he’s not he’s actively harming others.

Eh Shia deserved it.

Shia deserved worse than a mean comment lol. Dude is a bonafide piece of monkey shit and has been for some time. Dipshit kids on the internet give him a pass.

God forbid someone isn’t treating the violent sex abuser and public danger with delicate, flowery language. I can look at Shia, especially considering his history and how he grew up, and feel sympathy for what he went through, and I sincerely hope for the sake of his child that he gets his life together, but he doesn’t deserve sensitivity or a polite touch. He put others through the same shit he dealt with and worse. He’s an abusive a******

Talk about moving the goal posts. I’m not defending Shia. I’m explaining why it was “taking a shot”.

> The star was revisiting unforgettable moments from Malcolm in the Middle alongside his costar Frankie Muniz for Esquire's "Inquiring Minds" when Muniz was asked about the one role he wishes he hadn't passed on. Muniz replied that he'd been offered the role of Stanley "Caveman" Yelnats in the 2003 film adaptation of the 1998 novel Holes, but turned it down to play the titular kid spy in Agent Cody Banks. The role of Stanley instead went to Even Stevens star LaBeouf. > "I remember everybody kind of really pushing me to do Holes just because of the story and it's a little more dramatic," Muniz told Cranston during the interview. "Shia LaBeouf ended up doing it, which I think kind of really catapulted his movie career." > Muniz added that he looks back on the role, wondering, "Would I have been taken more seriously as an actor?" > At that point, Cranston wryly interjected, saying Muniz "could have ended up with Shia LaBeouf's life" and leaning forward to let out a long whistle. > "Keep that one in," Cranston quipped as Muniz laughed beside him. "Shia, get some help."

He’s not wrong. Frankie Muniz is living his best life racing in NASCAR and doing whatever he wants while Shia is doing what Shia is doing.

Money doesn’t make you happy, it just allows you to live comfortably in your misery

I’d rather be miserable and living comfy than miserable and broke as f***.

My favorite saying is money can’t buy happiness but I would always prefer to cry in a lambo.

I will say that broke and miserable was what changed my drinking habits forever. I do better nowadays financially and still haven't felt the desire to go back to my old lifestyle.

That's a fantastic way to find a silver lining! I'm happy for you

This. Shia at his stage in life would be the same, probably worse, if it wasn’t for his fame. Money didn’t do this to him. This is him.

It isn't money, it's the stress of child stardom. 90% of them end up going nuts in some way.

watch his interview with Channel 5 - Andrew... You really can't talk bad about the guy. He's had his struggles just like the rest of us... I mean yeah I guess we can talk about him but it's probably part of the problem
1
Threat_Level_9 2 days ago +2
Yeah, but he has the means to get better. Instead, he does the complete opposite.
2
BakesCakes 2 days ago +1
Yeah but at least now everyone who wants a relationship with him knows what they're getting into.

I mean, dude has serious brain damage & memory problems because of an incident from his acting career. I wouldn’t call that living your best life. That’s like saying Michael J. Fox is living his best life I’m sure both of their best lives don’t include their detrimental illnesses Muniz suffers just like Shia as a result of being a childhood actor, it just manifests differently for the two
-4
DeliciousStand372 2 days ago +4
need to stop spreading this because Frankie has clarified again and again that it’s a misquote. he meant he dont remember every single thing from his childhood especially since hes a child actor so he mentally checks in and out whenever hes doing a job/character.

To be fair, Shia himself (during more clearheaded times) said the movie Holes was a nightmare and his dad would often pick fights with Jon Voight, or vice versa.
12
BakesCakes 2 days ago +2
his dad is a vietnam vet.... it makes a lot of things make sense

Respectfully, Shia is bipolar. It’s not just the game, genetically he was always going to have a battle.

Aw man that was a great moment from Cranston. It wasnt the best part of the talk, but it was a noteable moment. It is definitely the message that has been and needs to be kept. Shia indeed needs major help.

Lol what? No he didn't.

I prefer Shias movies over Muniz. Muniz peaked when he was young I’d rather peak when I’m a young adult. Shia definitely made more mistakes in life tho

Peaked? Bro, isn't he like a pro race car driver that has made multiple times over the money he made from Malcom by doing racing? I could care less who's movies you prefer. I was just thinking you simping for Shia is pretty hilarious.

There’s a big difference between saying somebody needs help and offering to help them.

Didn’t Shea give some long ass interview how he gave up drinking and found god? Didn’t take long for him to go back to drinking, and shooting dogs on the street. Dude needs serious help, or to be tucked away from society.

Maybe watch the video? Context changes this whole thing. Him and Frankie were in an interview and Frankie was talking about how he passed up the lead role in holes and wondered if his career would have been bigger in movies like Shai's. It wasnt just randomly punching down.

Shia was just filmed a few weeks ago screaming at a random lady in Rome, Italy. >He's talking animatedly to this woman ... before loudly yelling "F*** off" at her. Despite his anger, she appears relatively unfazed ... not moving a muscle while he stares her down. Later on, the video picks up with Shia screaming in the street ... pacing around a crosswalk and yelling in a general direction. It's unclear if he's yelling at the same woman or someone else. > As you know ... Shia has had a concerning few weeks -- beginning with his arrest for battery in New Orleans last month. He was allowed to travel to Rome despite the arrest, where he was filmed walking around a hotel lobby in just his underwear. https://www.tmz.com/2026/03/21/shia-labeouf-screams-at-woman-in-rome/ I’m sorry for whatever Shia endured during his childhood, but unfortunately it’s his responsibility now to sort himself out. And Bryan isn’t exactly wrong by saying he needs help, and Frankie was perhaps luckier than he realizes to have escaped whatever Shia did as a fellow child-star.
