The photo gallery is an absolute rollercoaster on top of the clusterfuck of a read. There had been rumors while the show was in production and they got creative with workarounds for having a bad day. I remember his twin covered for some days and whatever episode it was they did with the double Xander, it was his twin. Sad

Famous abusive man was abusive. Nothing surprising about this especially since he was banned from conventions because of accusations of sexual harassment from female fans He was convicted of strangling his ex and had multiple domestic abuse charges. He was being investigated for stalking a week before he passed. He was a terrible person so hopefully this kills the typical lines people use for horrible celebs when they die, about not speaking ill of the dead or everyone makes mistakes

I feel like anyone could have played his character. Anyone at all. As an actor, he absolutely wasn’t special enough on any level (looks, charisma, “it” factor, talent) to have put up with his mountain of shit and obnoxious skeevy behavior.

I haven't rewatched Buffy since it originally aired. I've been thinking of doing a fresh watch and I found this video. https://youtu.be/vRz46mXvUEI?si=qisnZMIN_GXU8tEW Lol Knowing that Xander is Josh Whedon's self-insert character really does explain a lot of the shit I remember Xander doing and going "why are they putting up with him? He's being awful to all of them." It will be interesting rewatching it as an adult and understanding where the character traits are coming from.

James Masters wrote a song called "Jailbait" about 15 year old Michelle Tratchenberg. He also apparently pulled a Jerry Seinfeld by attending his then gf's (now ex wife) prom and graduation when he was in his 40s. Apparently he rocked up to a fan convention still dressed in his tux from one of them and talked about where he'd come from. People have been talking about his weird views on young women online in buffy fandom spaces going back to livejournal and imdb forums days.

In fact he states in an interview he doesn't want to talk about politics when asked about him wearing an LGBT+ support shirt. That said, when asked about if he supports Trump his phrasing makes it seem like he is a Trump supporter.

I always had a hard time understanding this and think the particular fan convention is made up.(but maybe not the actual attending) If i remember right, I saw one listnook post that basically said, why would he be in a tux at graduation which is early enough to go to convention and then proms are at night so it'd be after convention.

Here's the law in South Carolina  "SECTION 16-15-405. Second degree sexual exploitation of a minor defined; presumptions; defenses; penalties. ) An individual commits the offense of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor if, knowing the character or content of the material, he: (2)distributes, transports, exhibits, receives, sells, purchases, exchanges, or solicits material that contains a visual representation of a minor or a morphed image of an identifiable minor engaged in sexual activity or appearing in a state of sexually explicit nudity when a reasonable person would infer the purpose is sexual stimulation. SECTION 16-15-375. Definitions applicable to Sections 16-15-385 through 16-15-425. (3) "Minor" means an individual who is less than eighteen years old. As you can see by the statutes, receiving n**** from someone under the age of 18 is explicitly illegal in South Carolina.
