also, if the picture is infact from the incident in question - thats not a bulldozer but a "wheel loader" or "front end loader". not just being pedantic - these are generally capable of much higher speeds than bulldozers which are generally tracked vs wheeled

My first thought was "oh shit another killdozer" Bulldozers have tracks not tires and are damn near unstoppable (not to say this was easy). For those unfamiliar you should look up the Killdozer. Dude had a dispute with his towns local government and decided to armor a bulldozer with steel plates and just start plowing shit down. He took down 13 buildings and did millions in damages.

The dispute being properly disposing of sewage, choosing a ditch instead of a sewer line or septic tank

Generally speaking, they are tracked, but there are wheel dozers out there.

Same with tracked loaders as well.

Sometimes they're just tracked by the damage they leave in their wake

Only killed himself, thankfully.

If you are talking about the yellow one with busted front right tire, that is the "dozer" in question, as per the video the thumbnail is from.

Near the end of the video, you can see a guy in a red shirt climb up onto the bull dozer while its moving. There are other videos on X showing that sometime later he managed to wrestle the driver out of the bulldozer. Red shirt guy really did save lives by cutting the incident short because most reports (unconfirmed) seem to indicate multiple fatalities.

Source here says 8 dead, but from some Chinese news outlets it seems like at least 13 dead.

What news outlets? I can't find a single article about this from any reputable site.

It was crazy how fast everybody forgot about those sky scrapers in Hong Kong that burned for almost 2 days...

I'll wait for a better source. Any article that cites Epoch Times isn't trustworthy.

You think theyre using a wheel loader to clean up squashed bodies? Lmao
5
Khaeos Mar 31, 2026 -3
The Chinese government? You mean like running them over until the bodies are a half liquid "pie" then spraying kerosene over the area to wash them away? No I'm sure they wouldn't do that again.

How heavy are those things? We talking pancake flat?
-23
Haemwich Mar 31, 2026 +4
9200 lbs for the smaller types, up to 550,000 at the top end. This one is probably 30-50,000. People don't typically get flattened. They rupture like a tomato.

Equivalent-Rate-6218 Mar 31, 2026 +2
Half a million on the top end? Wow, and it goes without saying I wish that upon nobody

Those are the machines you only see in active quarries. The kind that have built in stairways to reach the cockpit.
