Why should we trust anything that comes from this after he was in possession of the ballots? He could have burned a bunch of them just to "prove" there was discrepancy in the final total.

Now, it is my understanding that this guy took possession of the ballots, and is the one running for governor? Seems like a lot of trust to put in someone who is a republican with a conflict of interest - to not have tampered with what was seized. Why is this even being entertained?

Regardless of who is present to witness a recount, if the chain of custody was broken during the seizure of those ballots, any recounts of those ballots shouldn't be valid. As others have said, it's possible that the ballots have been tampered-with (and without maintaining chain of custody, there's no way to insure the integrity of those ballots).

Everytime we go through this, there is a .001% difference between the hand count and machine count. This at least variates the system, and demonstrates why we need special masters... because the second these crooked fucks are allowed to do it by themselves, suddenly there will be 11,807 fake votes "which is one more than we need to win... which we already win by a lot..."...... That's not good enough. Seizing ballots by a candidate operating under color of law is very dangerous and if true, he needs to be arrested.

Voter fraud is *NOT* the problem! This is *ELECTION* fraud. Voter fraud is when one person votes fraudulently. A single f****** vote. These are almost always due some mistaken belief by the voter. It's small and insignificant in most elections. Election fraud is when you mess with the system and large vote counts. This can and does throw elections. Remember, when they scream voter fraud, they are trying to blame you, the voter, for their malfeasance.
