Can HBO stop pushing Rooster on me?

Absolutely ridiculous to be watching funny, intriguing shows like The Comeback and DTF St. Louis (not fully into the latter but certainly willing to give it a chance based on how great Patriot was) and come back into the room after the credits to see this assy show playing. Every commercial break, Rooster. Now it's in my played shows? Embarrassing. Will I be played an advert for Rooster if I eat a chicken sandwich?

Not at all. Sometimes things are just good. Not incredible, not mindblowing, just pleasant and funny things to watch. Not everyone has your really weird, ego defining relationship with television.

Oh come on that's not what I said. It's this particular show when I know that there are other shows to talk about. A few rooster ads is great, but every. single. break is frustrating! What else is HBO doing? I get it, Steve Carell is personable. I do get the impression from these comments that the show might be better than the marketing is making it look.

The Comeback is a true gift if you're a millennial traumatized by 2005. But you really have to start it from the first season, can't imagine trying to just dive in on S03 with no context.

The Comeback's first season is unmatched. DTF St Louis I'm still not sold on, but Patriot is such a weird and amazing comedy that I'm willing to give it a sit.

I loved Patriot, it’s a masterpiece and was ahead of its time as one of the first Amazon Prime shows. If it would’ve been on HBO, it would’ve been a spectacular success. I watched the first 30 minutes of DTF St. Louis and I didn’t find it funnier interesting at all, all the jokes and situations fell flat for me. Does it get any better?

Now it's in my played shows? Pretty sure you can stop it from auto-playing another show in settings. You can remove it from "Continue Watching" by hitting the three dots in the corner and selecting remove.

I do realize part of this is my algorithm. My HBO is mostly my kids watching Adventure Time and me watching stuff like avenue 5 and The Outsider. I did love The Comeback back in the day so watching that is what led to this post
