There's a movie where a kid is orn without fingers. They keep operating on him, taking toes off his foot and putting them on his hand. But they get rejected and he gets a bad fever and his mom keeps taking him into the hospita. In the end I think he has like a thumb and pinky only. He asks him mom at one point for no more surgeries.
Is it [Toxic Town](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toxic_Town)? Netflix TV show, not a movie, but Jodie Whittaker's character's son asks to stop the surgeries on his hand.

Hey, when I was a child my father took me to a drive in theater. It was a veinpire movie. In one scene a man is in the morgue with the coroner. His wife had been killed by a veinpire. She is on the coroner's table. I can't remember if she was covered or not. The husband asks the coroner if he could be alone with his wife. The coroner agrees and leaves them alone. The man proceeds to unzip and possibly pull down his pants and then climbs on top of his wife to do you know what. What is the name of that movie. That was back in the early to mid 70s I think.

That sounds absolutely horrific, poor kid going through all that. I can't place the specific film but the medical stuff reminds me of some of those intense dramas about childhood illness - maybe check IMDB for films about limb defects or reconstructive surgury? The detail about asking for no more operations really sticks out so hopefully someone recognizes it

sounds like you're describing "The Odd Life of Timothy Green." that movie definitely has some wild themes going on with family and acceptance, but not sure if it's the one you're looking for. have you checked out "The Hand?" that one's also about hands and has its own unique twist.
