Don’t know when it left the station, but I’m here for the Samara Weaving train

belatedmedia Mar 23, 2026 +79
She's got a stacked first half of the year with this, Ready or Not 2, and Over Your Dead Body.
79
SPEK2120 Mar 23, 2026 +15
wtf, Jorma Lonelyisland directed the latter?! There's about to be whole dissertations on the comedy sketch to suspense/thriller/horror pipeline.
15
belatedmedia Mar 23, 2026 +4
I’m very excited for the fact that Britanick wrote it. They also have Pizza Movie, so quite a year for them too.
4
SPEK2120 Mar 23, 2026 +4
Pizza Movie looks like Gen Z Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle.
4
Dr_Pants91 Mar 24, 2026 +1
Honestly, I think Over Your Dead Body is more of a dark comedy than a thriller.
1
digital0verdose Mar 23, 2026 +30
For me it was Mayhem.

heliostraveler Mar 23, 2026 +38
The Baby Sitter for me. Spellbound.
38
TNWhaa Mar 23, 2026 +19
Ash vs evil dead for me, she pretty much put together a scream queen sizzle reel in her short screen time
19
Caesar_Rising Mar 23, 2026 +3
Amateur hour guys, I’ve been watching this gal since she was cruising summer bay in Australian soap Home and Away
3
TNWhaa Mar 23, 2026 +1
I mean,Home and away & Neighbours are both a right of passage for any Aussie actor, I’d have been shocked if she didn’t come through the soap pipeline. Margot Robbie is still that woman from neighbours to my nan
1
TheTresStateArea Mar 24, 2026 +1
This is how I learn that she is hugo weavings niece and Australian.
1
itscamo- Mar 23, 2026 +5
first movie I saw with her was her film last year “Eenie Meanie.” Became a fan after that (movie was alright)
5
Bromogeeksual Mar 23, 2026 +3
I watched that just because she was in it. It was fine, she was good.
3
Psychomaniac13 Mar 23, 2026 +3
I freaking love Samara 😭
3
folkdeath95 Mar 23, 2026 +3
If there’s a live action adaptation of Red Rising she needs to play Victra
3
gingerking87 Mar 24, 2026 +1
But does she scream in this one
1
TomClancy5873 Mar 24, 2026 +2
She has to. It’s kind of her trademark
2
boywoods Mar 24, 2026 -3
What’s this about running a train on Samara Weaving?
-3
Q_OANN Mar 23, 2026 -1
In your dreams buddy!

I, too, would follow Kyle Gallner across the country in a crime spree. In fact it's one of my dreams

Such a good movie and an amazing soundtrack!
8
Qtip533 Mar 23, 2026 +10
Him not giving a f*** what was happening in the background and just being a man on a mission was my absolute favorite part of the 2nd smile movie.
10
suuuuhmmer Mar 23, 2026 +4
he’s been on a roll for like 20 years! i love that guy
4
pishposhpoppycock Mar 23, 2026 +5
He's been on a roll since he guest starred on Law and Order SVU where he raped Sabrina the Teenage Witch because of his online p*** obsession!
5
danaredding Mar 23, 2026 +5
He also raped Veronica Mars
5
goochmusic Mar 23, 2026 +3
😳 I’m just now realizing that’s who that was!
3
pishposhpoppycock Mar 23, 2026 +1
Guess he has a thing for blondes!
1
Former_War1437 Mar 23, 2026 +2
he has been a role since playing impulse in smallville
2
St0n3yM33rkat Mar 23, 2026 +12
My boy gets all the best movies full of the most beautiful people, I swear. Kyle is such a treasure.
12
stopmyhamster Mar 23, 2026 +2
He will always be my Flash ⚡️ So happy to see him get second billing in a bigger release.
2
nightsoup1 Mar 24, 2026 +2
Same director and after the double hit of dinner in America and snack shack I'd follow Adam anywhere TBH
2
braumbles Mar 23, 2026 +137
Don't even need to watch the trailer. Sold me at weaving.
137
DopeyDeathMetal Mar 23, 2026 +31
Same. And Kyle Gallner is awesome too. This is a match made in heaven for me.
31
nissanfan64 Mar 23, 2026 +17
Gallner and Weaving? Sign me up. (Yes RLM got me on the Gallner train)
17
NeilFlix Mar 24, 2026 +2
Added bonus that this is the same director from Dinner in America (Adam Rehmeier)
2
YoureTheManNowZardoz Mar 23, 2026 +77
Kyle Gallner STILL in his scumbum era? Sign me the f*** up!!
77
creamy-buscemi Mar 23, 2026 +11
Gotta be the most fun niche to have
11
casual_creator Mar 23, 2026 +33
I’m a simple man. I see Samara Weaving’s in a movie, I see it.
33
No-Abbreviations2897 Mar 23, 2026 +15
You'd think with how common these comments are she'd be in more successful stuff.
15
casual_creator Mar 23, 2026 +6
She may not be in big blockbusters, but the movies she does do are a ton of fun. It’s clear she chooses smaller films that will be a good time. Not every actor wants to do big films.
6
toolmantimsworkshop Mar 23, 2026 +8
I am a simple man as well I feel the same for Samara and Kyle
8
thefruitsofzellman Mar 23, 2026 +2
I, too, am a simple man, but only because I like butter in my ass and lollipops in my mouth.
2
Manaconda Mar 23, 2026 +46
RLM hack frauds made me consider Gallner...and I haven't stopped!
46
suff0cat Mar 23, 2026 +26
The RedLetterMedia Kyle Gallner Psyop has gone too far! Someone has to put a stop to Harry S Plinkett’s madness. I’m afraid we have no choice but to give into his demands for, lemme check my notes here, 3 and a half bags of pizza rolls.
26
Manaconda Mar 23, 2026 +11
Leave the pizza rolls on the chable.

>Only in theaters June 5. #trailer #movie >Starring Samara Weaving, Kyle Gallner, Kyra Sedgwick, and Jon Gries >Acclaimed director Adam Carter Rehmeier’s romantic crime thriller stars Samara Weaving (READY OR NOT, BORDERLINE) as Caroline Daniels, whose desire to leave her small Texas town brings her into the orbit of a charismatic con man (Kyle Gallner), and together they weave a path of crime and passion across the American Southeast. Also starring Kyra Sedgwick, the film features a wide-ranging country music soundtrack, with tracks from artists such as Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Loretta Lynn, and over a dozen others.
22
allthenamesaretaken4 Mar 23, 2026 +13
Was hoping it was the same director as Dinner in America. Looking forward to this!
13
NtwanaGP Mar 23, 2026 +18
I was hoping for a Samara Weaving movie this year, now we've got 3.
18
hhempstead Mar 23, 2026 +51
id watch a just because samara stars in it, same with jessie buckley.
51
Looper007 Mar 23, 2026 +25
Shocks me she hasn't been cast in bigger movies, she's got a ton of charisma and is a likeable lead. She's the go to actress for the scream queen roles and she's always the best thing in those films even though some of them don't match her talents.
25
SonOfElroy Mar 23, 2026 +25
She’s also really really ridiculously good looking.
25
Backflip_into_a_star Mar 23, 2026 +5
She might just really like doing these smaller movies. Less restrictions and scrutiny. Also, I have to wonder if it's related to her being Hugo Weaving's niece. Maybe wants to do her own thing without that influence connection. Although she has showed up in larger movies, so it's not really a rule.
5
frightened_by_bark Mar 23, 2026 +14
Was the best thing I saw at TIFF last September. Weaving and Gallner are both great
14
sean_psc Mar 23, 2026 +5
I saw this at TIFF last September. It was one of my favourites of the festival. Not reinventing the wheel, but a very well-executed outlaw romance.
5
Prawnboi- Mar 23, 2026 +11
Kyle Gallner and Chalamet need to switch levels of fame.
11
hollisterr Mar 23, 2026 +10
They had me at Kyle Gallner. I was hoping Smile was the push needed for his career, but I’ll take all I can get.
10
Jackieirish Mar 23, 2026 +4
Oh man, I wonder if it turns out one of the con men is actually running a secret con on the other con man, but then it turns out the con man who thought he was conning the other con man actually gets conned by the other con man.
4
sean_psc Mar 23, 2026 +1
Nope.
1
mattatmac Mar 23, 2026 +5
I feel like every time I see Gallner in a project I get excited. Dude has some serious acting chops and is just super compelling no matter the role.
5
Admiralattackbar Mar 23, 2026 +8
What a poorly cut trailer. But I love a conman movie
8
TonyPepperoni0504 Mar 23, 2026 +3
Finally a trailer for this. Been waiting on any news for this for forever.
3
alliownisbroken Mar 23, 2026 +5
Kyle Gallner??? Little Beaver Casablancas from Veronica Mars???
5
biophazer242 Mar 23, 2026 +9
Does she scream in it? She has one of the greatest screams in film today. Just saw Ready or Not 2 and she had quite a few great ones in that.
9
Wakkichewy Mar 23, 2026 +7
Her feral scream at the end of the first ready or not was legit bone chilling, I can only imagine the crew's reaction to hearing that lol
7
_Shit_Just_Got_Real_ Mar 23, 2026 +2
I love the director’s last 2 films, SNACK SHACK and DINNER IN AMERICA (which also stars Kyle Gallner!) so I will definitely be showing up for this one. Confusing title though.
2
Complete_Cheeks Mar 23, 2026 +2
The director has made one of the best comedies of the past decade "Dinner in America" (also starting Gallner) and the pretty good "Snack Shack". Seriously stop what you are doing and watch Dinner in America.
2
serious_cheese Mar 23, 2026 +2
Kyle Gallner never disappoints. “Dinner in America” is one of my favorite movies ever. “Strange Darling” was a fun watch too
2
BecomeMeguca Mar 23, 2026 +2
Watched the premiere at TIFF. I've never seen the director's other films and I really enjoyed it! Still really need to watch his other stuff
2
BecomeMeguca Mar 23, 2026 +1
Was also very surprising during the q+a when Samara Weaving started talking. Had no idea she was Australian lmaoo
1
Jebsrifle Mar 23, 2026 +2
I saw this premiere at Sun Valley Film Festival. Director said 90 something locations in 23 days for filming. It's a fantastic film with great chemistry, great performances and just the right amount of crime thriller tropes. Loved it
2
iScry Mar 23, 2026 +3
Gallner and Samara, both a scream king and queen.
3
MyPenisMightBeOnFire Mar 23, 2026 +2
Is this Hugo Weaving’s daughter?
2
TheHaciendaHustle Mar 23, 2026 +4
Niece.
4
Newwavecybertiger Mar 23, 2026 +2
This lady had a busy 2024/ 2025. She's pregnant now so presumably she'll take a break from acting for a bit
2
samples98 Mar 23, 2026 +1
Starting her and him and it’s not a horror movie? Wild
1
zerofrakhere Mar 23, 2026 +1
somehow I expect this will end up in a bloody mess
1
rageofreaper Mar 23, 2026 +1
That Samara Weaving, so hot right now
1
SourArmoredHero Mar 23, 2026 +1
Samara + Kyle = Awesome
1
ChevelierMalFet Mar 23, 2026 +1
Reminds me of Villians, another small budget thriller about a couple on the run starring recognizable names (Maika Monroe and Bill Skaarsgard) and also Kyra Sedgwick.
1
Odd-Necessary3807 Mar 23, 2026 +1
Who cut this teaser? It ended awkwardly.
1
screwikea Mar 23, 2026 +1
2 of my favorite "fresh" actors in one movie. Hell yes. They've both been great in everything they're in.
1
edwinnferrer Mar 23, 2026 +1
Samara is everywhere all of a sudden and I’m here for it
1
i-make-robots Mar 23, 2026 +1
"Do you ever feel bad?" She's a cop.
1
SeismicRipFart Mar 23, 2026 +2
Gallner and Weaving are both actors in which I’ll automatically watch any movie they’re starring in, no matter what. I’m hyped for this
2
thanos_was_right_69 Mar 23, 2026 +1
TIL she’s Hugo Weaving’s niece
1
alinasser00001 Mar 23, 2026 +1
I adore her films. I feel she's spontaneous, even in her acting. I'm eagerly awaiting her next movie.
1
Joey-WilcoXXX Mar 23, 2026 +2
Kyle Gallner 🔥🔥🔥🔥
2
neal1701 Mar 23, 2026 +1
Samara Weaving? Son of a b****, I'm in!
1
mango_boom Mar 23, 2026 +1
no one will ever deliver that line like amanda plummer - why try?
1
danaredding Mar 23, 2026 +1
Great casting! He’s incredible, she’s incredible. Will watch.
1
lemmiwinks123 Mar 23, 2026 +1
Heard great buzz around this coming out of TIFF. Can't wait to see it!
1
Rewriter94 Mar 23, 2026 +1
First heard about this script back in 2016. The writer, Tom Dean, is mega-talented. So glad he's finally getting produced.
1

Been a while since I've seen Kyle.

1

She’s drop dead gorgeous.
1
betty-grable Mar 24, 2026 +1
Saw this at TIFF. Great time
1
Keffpie Mar 24, 2026 +1
I will watch anything with Samara Weaving. Not because she's beautiful (though she is) but because something about her and the movies she picks is just... enjoyable. I have never not had fun watching her.
1
ChCreations45 Mar 23, 2026 +1
You had me at Samara and Kyle.
1
Secure_Lab_8870 Mar 23, 2026 +1
goes without saying we all love weaving by now. but, i’m lowkey ecstatic to see gallner in something again that could potentially become popular. dude was great in the smile movies and got killed off WAY too quickly. obviously it worked out, naomi was terrific, but i’d had loved to see more of him.
1
wallabyenthusiast Mar 23, 2026 -8
samara’s too good of an actress to be starring in all these terrible and forgettable b-list films. someone get her a new agent please
-8
funkhero Mar 23, 2026 +4
Is this a b-list film? This seems like an indie darling.
4
MotherBeef Mar 23, 2026 +3
Haha I was just thinking the same thing. After Ready of Not I assumed she was going to be a hot commodity. But she has pretty much only done trash since then.
3
stretch400 Mar 23, 2026 +3
She’s gona in one with Jason Siegel soon. Should be good
3
Looper007 Mar 23, 2026 +1
Most of them are made by her husband too, sometimes you even have to say no professionally to the person you love. She's done some good work like in Mayhem, Ready Or Not films and First Babysitter film is fun. Remember too she's been in some great films like Babylon and Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri. But she has done a lot of not so good work. But even in those bad films, she's always the best thing in them that's why she's so liked by many. The talent is there with Samara, she just needs that one big breakout role. She's still only 34, so fingers crossed she can get that big role. She clearly loves doing horror and action films, she just needs to chose better ones.
1
quangtran Mar 23, 2026
I just looked up her Rotten Tomatoes, and her latest three films (Carolina Caroline, Ready Or Not 2 and Over Your Dead Body) are all getting really good reviews. But I do think there are issues with her career, in that she hasn't attracted the attention of any S, A or B tier directors. She has the looks, talents and a decent amount of industry cred, but Samara is only hired when they can't afford Margot.
